This image from the Beautifully Braided Stamp Set is one of my “surprise” favorites. I recently purchased it, because my husband said, “I can’t believe you didn’t get that stamp!” So, what’s a girl to do?

Ginko Leaves
Today’s card came together quickly with the ginko leaves, which I stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I colored the stems with a Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend, and added a pop of red with a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend.
Keeping it simple, I layered this on a Mossy Meadow card base.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink on Thick Whisper White Cardstock. “Your smile brightens my day” is also from the Beautifully Braided Stamp Set.
I used an Ornate Layers Die for cutting, making two cuts for a narrower strip.

My inspiration for the layout was from Freshly Made Sketches.

Better late than never; I love the Arts & Crafts feel of the ginko leaves. I hope you do too! You can see the entire stamp set in my Product List below.

The Timeless Tulip stamp set is great for creating wonderful 3D flowers. There is a Tulip Punch, which really makes things easy, but I cut these by hand.

3D Tulips
First, I stamped two flowers, and four leaves, in Daffodil Delight Ink on Watercolor Paper. I’m calling the ink, “Tulip Delight” for this card. And, I’m turning the leaves into petals, arranged as you see, to make a 3D flower. The Watercolor Paper gives the flowers nice texture.
TIP: I needed to turn two of the petals to the backside, and use a Sponge Dauber to color them, in order to make them fit properly. Isn’t that fun?
Before adding the stems and leaves, I chose background paper from Ornate Gardens DSP, and cut it with an Ornate Layers Die. Beneath it is Whisper White Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Frames Die on a Thick Whisper White card base.

The Ornate Gardens DSP is Old Olive with a pretty, gold design, so I wanted to use Gold Foil for the stems and leaves. The leaves were cut with a Bouquet Bunch Die, and the stems are from Sweet Silhouettes Dies.

Last, but not least, “love” is from Well Written Dies, also cut from Gold Foil.

I was inspired by Global Design Project.

Good morning! The sun is shining after days of rain, and flowers are blooming, inside and out!

Abstract Bouquet
My abstract floral bouquet developed, because of this week’s cts challenge.

My colors are from the Paper Players.

The small, medium, and large flowers were cut with Ornate Borders Dies. I used a Sponge Dauber and So Saffron Ink for coloring. The stem was also cut with an Ornate Borders Die, using Gray Granite Cardstock. It’s actually a piece of “waste,” and I saved the complete border for another card.
The “vase” was made with four strips of Whisper White Cardstock, colored with Light and Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. I graduated the color, as in the cts sketch. The strips were cut with the Classic Label Punch, and I snipped the left side.

The background Is Whisper White Cardstock, cut with an Ornate Layers Die, layered on a Seaside Spray card base.
“Happy Birthday” is from the Timeless Tulip Stamp Set, stamped in Gray Granite Ink.

I appreciate you visiting me today, and hope you are inspired!

The So Very Vellum is so very pretty, and fun to use. It looks like bubbles on this birthday card, don’t you think?

Birthday Bubbles
I first cut the three colors of vellum with two Layering Circles Dies. Then, I cut an equal amount of Whisper White Cardstock for backing.
TIP: I discovered, if you put tiny dots of glue behind the dots, it doesn’t show at all.

I had fun embossing (Corrugated Embossing Folder) and distressing (used my fingernail) the background, which I glued to a Thick Whisper White card base.
I placed the bubbles and sentiment on Stampin’ Dimensionals, which enhanced the embossed dimension. This card just might fly away!
“Happy Birthday” is from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Dies.

No worries, if you don’t have the So Very Vellum DSP. I bet you can come up with equally stunning paper for this design.
I was inspired by TGIF.

Today is Easter, and this card has already been mailed, and received. I chose “Easter Blessings” from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, but many sentiments would be appropriate for this “Spring” design.

Vellum Easter Flowers
I just love this border, made with a die from the new, Ornate Borders Dies, part of the Ornate Garden Suite. It looks so pretty against the Soft Sea Foam card base, doesn’t it? This suite is an early release from Stampin’ Up’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, and you can order it today!
After cutting along the edge of the Whisper White Cardstock layer, I noticed pretty pieces of “waste.” They turned into stems for my flowers!

My flowers were made with So Very Vellum in its three, soft, colors, and another Ornate Borders Die. You can see all of them in my Product List below.
Hiding the glue is always a concern when working with vellum, and the problem was easily solved here. Mini-Dimensionals made a perfect covering behind the three tiny holes in the center of the flower. It looked fine, before the pearls, but I like the added embellishment.

I stamped “Easter Blessings” in Memento Black Ink, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. I like how this die duplicates the feel of the border.

The Tropical Oasis Designer Paper has wonderful, classic cars, with surf boards on top, something guys would appreciate.

Tropical Birthday
I began by using a Stitched Rectangles die to cut one of the cars from the 12X12 DSP. I backed it with cardstock, so it would be nice and sturdy atop the hexagon.
The hexagon was made with two Stitched Nested Label Dies. First, I glued the brown DSP to cardstock for sturdiness, then cut the shape with both dies at the same tie.

Next, I raised the hexagon frame on Foam Adhesive Strips, and glued the car in place.
The background is is a fabulous field of palms on a Soft Sea Foam card base.
“From all of us,” is from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set. It’s stamped in Early Espresso Ink, and cut with the Classic Label Punch.

The final touch was a palm branch, cut from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock with a Tropical Die. The card has “Happy Birthday” stamped inside, and is ready for a celebration.

My inspiration was from Freshly Made Sketches.
