Before sharing Cat’s halloween card, let me remind you that today is THE DAY! From 12:01 October 23rd until midnight, we have a super stamp sale going on. Click on the flashing 15% to shop now!

Cat asked to be on “just one more” Halloween card. He said I should punch him from Basic Black Cardstock, and he would wear a Gorgeous Grape scarf for his costume.
Cat convinced the Playful Penguins to loan him their scarf, because he promised to return it right after October 31st. I agreed, cutting the scarf by hand, which turned out to be a perfect fit.

Cat in Scarf
At first glance, you might think Cat is sitting in front of a moon, but it’s actually a log. It’s from the Rooted In Nature Stamp Set, stamped in Pumpkin Pie Ink, and fussy cut.
The log happens to be from one of the many stamp sets on sale, and Cat thought it would be a great hiding place, while waiting to pounce on trick-or-treaters.

The background is retired, Brights 6X6 Designer Paper, which Cat had to have, because it matched his scarf. Eventually, I said it was okay, because new patterns are currently available, which I have in my Product List. I do like the way the stripe blends with the Highland Heather card base.

“Trick or Treat” is from the Itty Bitty Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die.
Finally, Cat said he wanted some scary, white, stuff by his log. He was satisfied with the Whisper White Flax Ribbon, after I shredded the end.

All of this was instigated by Cat seeing two challenges. I have to keep him away from my computer!

Thank You for visiting today. Cat is proud of his card, and enjoyed sharing it with you! Don’t forget to shop the 24 Hour Stamp Sale! Just click this “shop” button!

It’s time for another Rudolph Christmas card, and I couldn’t resist using the “eclipse” technique.

Believe
With the Detailed Deer Die Set, this card was simple to make.
I cut Rudolf from a piece of the 6X6 Feels Like Frost Designer Paper. Then, I layered him for thickness, and placed him on Dimensionals in his “hole.” He is matching the surrounding landscape, which created the “eclipse.”

I stamped “believe” right on Rudolph in Blueberry Bushel Ink to match the card base. “Believe” is one of many great sentiments in the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. You can see all of them by clicking on the picture in my Product List below.
The last detail was adding a few Snowflake Sequins to the snowy scene, a new product in the Holiday 2019 Catalog.

I was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch.

Thank you for paying Rudolf a visit! All you have to do is “believe.”
Don’t forget, the 24 Hour Stamp Sale starts tomorrow, October 23, 12:01 MT. Click on the flashing 15% to see the list. It’s amazing!

Pinecones and Christmas go together, so here they are on a burlap mat.

Pinecones on Burlap
The burlap mat is from a square of Pressed Petals Designer Paper, which I fringed on the side with Paper Snips. I made the pinecones with two Beautiful Boughs Dies, using Soft Suede and Early Espresso Cardstock. The Cherry Cobbler berries were made with a Frosted Bouquet Die.

Isn’t the tag adorable? It’s from the Ornate Frames Die Set, complete with a tiny hole for tying the Linen Thread bow. Before tying, I stamped “Happy Christmas,” from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, in Cherry Cobbler Ink.

Behind the mat is a Beautiful Bough, cut from Wrapped In Plaid Designer Paper. The 4″ X 3/4″ plaid band is from the same 6X6″ paper pack.
The background is Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with Eyelet Lace, glued to a Shaded Spruce card base.

Today’s Christmas card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

The Day Of Thanks Stamp Set is perfect for Thanksgiving cards.

Turkey Day
I needed to use a large sentiment for this week’s Paper Players challenge.

I stamped “Thanksgiving” in Early Espresso Ink on Pressed Petals Designer Paper, using a Sponge Dauber to ink the word. I’m laughing at my “masking” method, so here’s a picture.

Instead of using “Happy” from the stamp set, I used “Happy” from the Merry Christmas die set. By cutting the large “Happy” from Gold Foil, I made it fit the “loud” requirement of the challenge.

The turkey is also from the Day Of Thanks Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink on See A Silhouette Designer Paper. This is the easy way to color.
I used a Layering Circles Die to cut the turkey and gave him a scalloped border of Gold Foil.

The burlap paper adds texture, while still keeping the design clean & simple. I backed it with Crushed Curry Cardstock, and glued it to a Soft Suede card base.

Thank you for visiting me today. Gobble Gobble. Keep scrolling to see my Product List, where you can order from my store.

Today’s birthday card was inspired by colors: Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black.

Daisy Wishes
The color challenge is from Fab Friday.

The first thing I imagined was a trio of Daisy Lane daisies, stamped in Melon Mambo Ink. I used my Bone Folder to give them shape.

I made a YouTube video, a while ago, to show you how I shaped the daisies, which you can see by clicking on this rainbow daisy card.

The daisy centers are scraps of 6X6″ Regals Designer Paper in Pumpkin Pie. This dot print is retired, but the four new patterns are in my Product List. The centers were easy to cut with the 1/2″ Circle Punch.
Keeping the color simple, I layered Basic Black Cardstock on a Thick Whisper White card base. The top Whisper White layer is embossed by the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder.

Beneath the daisies is Whisper White Cardstock, cut with an Ornate Frames Die, and raised on Dimensionals.
“Wishes” is from Well Written Dies, and the swoosh is from Cheers Dies.

Thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoyed my YouTube video!
