Painterly Pears for Piccadilli Players

Who are the Piccadilli Players? We are 2024 Artisan Design Team members who wanted to keep our group together for occasional Instagram hops. The theme for our second hop was favorites from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, or new Online Exclusives, which posted on Instagram yesterday, June 27th. The favorite I chose is the Painterly Pears Suite, available for ordering July 1st, so only a few more days to wait!

Painterly Pears Suite

The first card has two pears, and pink blossoms, cut from Painterly Pears Designer Paper with Perfectly Pears Dies.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Textured Notes Die, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″  X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/2″. Prior to gluing, I used a Perfectly Pears Die to cut three designs from Basic White Cardstock, threading one with Mossy Meadow Gold Trim, and attaching the trim to the back of the layer. The other two designs were glued in place before attaching the pears with Dimensionals.

“Hello” is from the Perfectly Pears Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink, used a Perfectly Pears Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

The second card shows off a beautiful pattern of Painterly Pears Designer Paper. I used a Fancy Borders Die to edge the sides of the 3″ X 5 1/2″ DSP, which I layered for thickness. Then, I attached it with Dimensionals to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used Mini Alphabet Dies to cut the word “hello” from Darling Duckling Cardstock and a Foam Adhesive Sheet for Dimension. To make the letters sparkle, I brushed them with Wink Of Stella, a retired item. 

For more dimension, I fussy cut three flowers and attached them with Dimensionals. And, as a final touch, I added three Low-Profile Sparkle Dots.
