This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge, which was very inspirational. See how I used the sketch, then create your own project. Don’t forget to post it on social media, and tag it #gdp502.
I began by using Stampin’ Blends to paint four stripes on Basic White Cardstock. The colors are, top to bottom: Petunia Pop, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, and Old Olive. I used four brush strokes per color, looking at the sketch for length. Then, I stamped a Thankful Garden stamp in Memento Black Ink on top of the stripes.

Next, I used the second largest Textured Notes Die for cutting. I love these dies, because of the tiny, detailed borders, and they eliminate measuring! You can see all of the sizes in my Product List below.
The cardstock layered behind the white cardstock is Fresh Freesia, 4″ X 5 1/4″, given texture with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. Then, I glued the layers to a Petunia Pop card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Friend” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set. I stamped it in memento Black Ink on basic White Cardstock, used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Then, I added some black, Neutral Matte Dots, just for fun!

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “Floral Delight.” We all love flowers, so let the show begin!
I couldn’t wait to feature the Coneflower Celebrations Bundle, a favorite from the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. Isn’t this large, 3D coneflower, sensational?
3D Coneflower
It was fun putting designer paper to work to cut the flower parts with Coneflower Celebrations Dies. The petals were cut from Beautiful Bokeh DSP, and the cone, stem, and leaves, were cut from Splendid Autumn DSP. After cutting, I glued the parts together, using a Dimensional on the “fold-over” piece for added dimension. And, the top petals were glued just beneath the cone, so they could lift.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/2″, given texture with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“It’s your day!” is from the Coneflower Celebrations Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting. The same die was used a second time to cut the green border, from the designer paper as the stem and leaves. For additional texture, I placed three, Neutral Matte Dots on the sentiment label.

Today’s card is a framed “painting” from Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper. Isn’t it tranquil? This designer paper is amazing, and perfect for “quick & easy” card making. I cut the 6″ X 6″ scene to 3 1/4″ X 5″. Then, I framed it with Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper, cut with a Gallery Blooms Die.

Prior to gluing the scene to the frame, I gave the frame texture with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. After embossing, I glued the framed “painting” to a Cloud Cover card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“I’ll listen to your silence when words are just too much” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Beautiful Gallery DSP, layered it for thickness, and glued it in place. As a final touch, I added three 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Cloud Cover.

This is my second card using the mountain lion from the Along These Lines Stamp Set. You can see my first card below. For today’s card, I began with Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, and stamped the mountain lion in Cajun Craze Ink. This makes him camouflaged with the background. I also stamped “let the adventure begin,” from the Scenic Adventure Stamp Set. Then, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to cut the Designer Paper.

Next, I used a Scenic Adventure Die to cut the mountains. This set has some great “outdoor” dies! After cutting the mountains, I glued the scene to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
For the inside, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to cut Thoughtful Journey DSP, and glued it in place. Then, I used the second largest Textured Notes Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, stamped “embrace the journey” in Cajun Craze Ink, and glued it in place. This sentiment is from the Everyday Arches Stamp Set.
The last step was attaching three, Neutral Matte Dots.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, using Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon, and a new “In Color,” Timid Tiger.
Impressions Abloom
There are 25 Impressions Abloom Dies, and I used 11 that are pictured here. The petals were cut from 2025-2027 In Color Designer Paper in the color Timid Tiger, and the flower centers were cut from Timid Tiger Cardstock. The stems and leaves were cut from Lost Lagoon Cardstock.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the second largest Textured Notes Die. After stamping it with Petal Pink Ink, and the Painted Stripes Stamp, I glued it to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Thanks” is from the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set, stamped in Lost lagoon Ink. The tiny, white, blossoms were cut with Impressions Abloom Dies from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and glued in place.

Happy Father’s Day! To celebrate the day, I’m sharing a masculine, birthday card, that could easily be for Father’s Day. The boat scene is from Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper, cut to 5″ X 3 1/4″. Then, I framed it with Basic Beige Cardstock, cut with a Gallery Blooms Die.
