I’m loving the Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper with the Beautiful Motifs Dies! I’ve created three, “easy-to-make” cards that I’m sharing this week. For today’s card, I cut this Petal Pink pattern from Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I used one of the three, Beautiful Motifs Dies, to make two cuts. If you look at the dies, in my Product List below, you’ll see that three of the dies have dark backgrounds. This indicates that they are “partial cuts,” leaving some intact with the background, and enabling some of the cut to lift. So Much fun!

Next, I glued the patterned paper, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, to Crumb Cake Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″.Then, I glued the two layers to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Can you see how the partial die-cuts were lifted? I I left a space in the middle for a sentiment, which is from the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set.
I stamped “thanks” in Early Espresso Ink on the designer paper, making sure it was dark enough to show on the patterned paper. Three, Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems were added, as a final touch. A third of the gems, from the pac, are clear (see the pic in my Product List), which is what I used. They all have pretty, gold highlights.

It’s always exciting to see Stampin’ Up!’s new “In Colors.” They were displayed beautifully in the Celebratory Sips Designer Paper, and I had fun cutting out refreshing drinks. The drinks are: Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, and Strawberry Slush with a Cloud Cover umbrella. They are sitting on an oval “tray,” created with Cloud Cover Cardstock and a fabulous, Impressions Abloom Die.
2025-2027 In Colors
The background is a Thick Basic White card base, 4 1/4″ X 8 1/2″, folded at 5 1/2″, creating a vertical opening. I used the Damask Designs Embossing Folder to make a “tablecloth.”
“It’s your day” and “let’s celebrate” are from the Cheers & Sips Stamp Set. I stamped them in the fifth, “In Color,” Secret Sea, on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used the smallest Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached them with Dimensionals.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we are having a 500th Project Celebration!!! We thought it would be fun to CASE one another, and I was excited to CASE Ann Alexander from Australia. You can see her card below. Please join in the challenge by choosing a designer to CASE for your project. Then, tag it #GDP500, when you post it on social media.
I began with the cake from the Along These Lines Stamp Set, stamping it twice in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After fussy cutting the birthday cake, I added some color with three Stampin’ Blends: Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, and Soft Sea Foam.
Global Design Project Challenge #500
Next, I used a Stylish Shapes Die to cut three circles from the same colors of cardstock. Then, I used the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder to give them texture. The circles were glued to Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8 X 5 1/8, which was backed with Bubble Bath cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/2″. Both layers were glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Happy Birthday” is from the new, The Right Words Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with a Stylish Shapes Die. The sentiment is completed on the inside, “To someone worth celebrating every single day!” After using Dimensionals to attach the sentiment, and cakes, on the card front, my CASE was complete.

This gave the card base a vertical opening, for a change. Can you see how the partial die-cuts were lifted? I I left a space in the middle for a sentiment, which is from Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set.
I stamped “you are much appreciated” in Mossy Meadow Ink on designer paper, and used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting. Then, I gave it two layers of cardstock for thickness, so it would have dimension, without using Dimensionals, and glued it in place. Three, Neutral Matte Dots were added, as a final touch.

Today’s card is square, and is the maximum square that fits in our Medium Envelopes. I cut the Basic Beige Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I glued Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper to the card front, 4 1/8″ X 4 1/8″. Aren’t the white roses gorgeous? This paper, and the die-cut foliage, is from the Beautiful Gallery Suite that is in the Suite Sale that is going on now. Check it out below!

Next, I used a Stylish Shapes Die to cut a square from Basic Beige Cardstock. After stamping the square in Basic Beige Ink with an Elements Of Text stamp, I glued Basic Beige foliage to the back, and attached it with Dimensionals. The white roses were fussy cut, and and attached with a sprig on Dimensionals. The sprig is from Gallery Blooms Dies, also in the Suite Sale.
“Thanks” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper, and used a Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting. After layering it for thickness, I glued it in place. Three, Antique Pearls were added as a final touch. They are back-in-stock, after being out for a while.

This indicates that they are “partial cuts,” leaving some intact with the background, and enabling some of the cut to lift. So Much fun!

Next, I glued the scene to Basic Beige Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I had fun lifting the leaves! “Thanks” is from a Paper Pumpkin, “add-on” die set, cut from Brushed Gold Foil.
For the last detail of this “easy-to-make” card, I embellished it with three, gold birds.
