Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.
I can’t wait to show you my card today! Not only is it a new fun fold for me, it’s also a sneak peek of fabulous, Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper from the upcoming 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. I began by cutting one of the scenes 4″ X 4″ to glue to the card front.

Explosion Fun Fold
Basic Beige Cardstock was used for the card base, which is 4″ X 8 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, making a square card. All of the fun happens on the inside. Get ready!

Take a 6X6″ piece of designer paper, and fold it in half, with the side you want to see, facing you. Then turn it, and fold in half. Unfold it, and fold again, making a triangle. Two of the squares will be flat, and two will be creased. Burnish the folds as you go. This is a bit tricky, and you may want to watch Patty Bennett’s video, if you need a visual. She does a great job explaining it.

It should look as pictured above, and you will be able to fold it into a square. Glue one of the flat sides to the bottom of the card base, as shown. I used Liquid Glue, so I could have wiggle room to make sure the points were perfectly even. Then, glue the other flat side to top of the card base.

Prior to gluing, I completed the squares on the inside. They are Beautiful Gallery DSP, 2 1/4″ X 2 1/4″, topped with with Basic Beige Cardstock, cut with a Stylish Shapes Die, 2″ X 2″. I stamped “Happy Birthday” in Mossy Meadow Ink, on one, and left the other blank for a personal message. I also stamped “May all your wishes come true” in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock. After cutting with another Stylish Shapes Die, I attached it to the card front with Dimensionals. The sentiments are from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, using Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, and Basic Gray. Start thinking of ways to use this color combo. Then, we’d love for you to show off your creation on social media, and tag it #gdp493, so everyone can see it.

I began by using an Elements Of Text stamp with Basic Gray Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used the largest Textured Notes Die for cutting, and glued it to a Basic Gray card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ , folded at 4 1/4″.

Pears and Text
Next, I stamped pears, from the Penciled Pear Stamp Set, in Granny Apple Green. Melon Mambo was added to the pears with a Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blend. I lightened, and blended, Melon Mambo with a Stampin’ Blend Color Lifter. It’s a cool tool, if you haven’t tried it.

I also stamped a sentiment from the Penciled Pear Stamp Set, “Just a little note,” in Basic Gray Ink. To complete the card, I added three Basic Gray Pearls.

This is my first sneak peek from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, which will be available for ordering May 6th. The Beautiful Motif Dies are part of the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection, and aren’t these dies wonderful? I used them to cut Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, which gives a fabulous variation of color.

Beautiful Motif Sneak Peek
The background is Basic White Cardstock, stamped in Pool Party Ink with the Painted Stripes Stamp. After stamping I used the second largest Textured Notes Die for cutting. Then, I glued the layer to a Pool Party card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“You’re a true blessing” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set, stamped in Lost Lagoon Ink. I found the Pool Party Dots in the pack of Rainbow Dots. The dots are carrying over to the new catalog, as well as the Unbounded Love Stamp Set, and Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper. YAY!

Today’s card features the Lovely Garden Designer Paper. I began by fussy cutting flowers from the designer paper, and placing the trio on Dimensionals.

Flowers and Arches
Next, I used the second largest Everyday Arches Die to cut Lovely Garden DSP (black & white leaves). Then, I stamped, “you are simply fantastic,” in Garden Green Ink. This sentiment is from the Everyday Arches Stamp Set, and don’t you love the arched shape?

The graph design beneath the leaves, also from Lovely Garden DSP, was cut with the largest Everyday Arches Die. I glued the layers together to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Three Earth Tones Gems were the final touch.

For my second card using the the Thankful Garden Bundle, I’m featuring the coordinating, Lovely Garden Designer Paper.
I began with a black & white pattern, cut with the largest Textured Notes Die. This was glued to a Fresh Freesia card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I used two smaller Textured Notes Dies to cut two additional patterns of Lovely Garden DSP. These were overlapped, and glued in place.

Lovely Garden Hydrangeas
Next, I fussy cut hydrangeas from a fourth pattern of the designer paper. I attached the full flower with Dimensionals, and glued the small section of flower in place.

“You make a difference,” is from the Thankful Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Textured Notes Die for cutting. After gluing it to a fifth pattern of Lovely Garden DSP, I attached the sentiment with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three Tinsel Gems in Fresh Freesia.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE Kayla Renee’s fun card. I’m using Kayla’s green colors, with a purple focal point, and white on black sentiment.

I began with a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, which I embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. Then, I layered it with Coastal Cabana Cardstock, 3 3/8″ X 4 7/8″.

Textured Notes Leaves
The top layer is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the second largest Textured Notes Die. Before cutting, I stamped leaves from the Textured Notes Stamp Set, using Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist Inks.

For my focal point, I used Cheerful Daisies Dies to create a flower from Highland Heather Cardstock, and Basic White Cardstock, that I colored lightly with a Blending Brush and Highland Heather Ink. The sprigs were cut from Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in versaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder. After setting it with the Heat Tool, I used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. For a little sparkle, I added three, Iridescent Foil Gems.
