Thankful Garden Hydrangea

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

This is my first card with the Thankful Garden Bundle, an Online Exclusive. I love hydrangeas, don’t you? I began by stamping the hydrangea in Fresh Freesia Ink on Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper. Then, I used its die for cutting.

By Su Mohr; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Thankful Garden Bundle, Beautiful Bokeh DSP, Floral Delight DSP, Everyday Arches Stamp Set; #thankfulgarden #beautifulbokeh #hydrangea #flowersoncards #cardmaking #papercrafting #handmade #handcrafted #diy

Hydrangea Hello

Next, I stamped the leaf portion in Garden Green Ink on Floral Delight Designer Paper. After using the die for cutting, I fussy cut the top portion of the leaves, and glued it in place. To add dimension, I stamped the flower another time, fussy cut seven blossoms, and attached them with Mini Dimensionals.

The background is Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, layered on Basic White Cardstock, layered on a Balmy Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. “Hello” is from the Everyday Arches Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and used a Heat Tool for setting. For some sparkle, I added Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs.

Under the Moon for Stampin’ Fancy Friday

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is a sketch.

To begin the challenge, I stamped a circular scene from the Under The Moon Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock. I used Night Of Navy Ink for the “sky” and dolphins, and Coastal Cabana Ink for the “ocean.” The moon was colored with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. Then, I used a Spotlight On Nature Die for cutting, layered it for thickness, and  placed it on Dimensionals.

By Su Mohr for Stampin' Fancy Friday; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Under The Moon, Textured Notes, Spotlight On Nature, Elements Of Text, Mediterranean Blooms; #spotlightonnature #texturednotes #elementsoftext #underthemoon #mediterraneanblooms #dolphins #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #stampinfancyfriday #stampinup #cardsketch

Under the Moon

The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest, Textured Notes Die.  After cutting, I added color with a Blending Brush and Coastal Cabana Ink, along with stamping spots from the Elements Of Text Stamp Set. This was layered on Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 3/8″, and glued to a Coastal Cabana card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“You are seriously the best” is from the Textured Notes Stamp Set, stamped in Night Of Navy Ink. After stamping, I used a Textured Notes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three, Tinsel Gems.

Woven Textures for Pals Blog Hop

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Male Room.” The Pals hope to inspire you with their masculine card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

The Woven Textures Designer Paper is amazing, and perfect for masculine cards.

By Su Mohr for the Pals Blog Hop; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Woven Textures DSP, Textured Designs, Spotlight On Nature, Crafting With You, Textured Dots, Wanted To Say Dies; #woventextures #wantedtosay #texturednotes #spotlightonnature #masculine #birthdaycards #scissors #handmadecards #handcrafted #diy #cardmaking #papercrafting #stampinup #palsbloghop #sumohr

Woven Textures

The first thing I did was cut the “straw mat” from the center of one of the patterns, using a Spotlight On Nature Die. Then, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to cut Basic White Cardstock to layer on the Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Before gluing, I stamped a branch, from the Textured Notes Stamp Set, in Gray Granite Ink on the Basic White Cardstock layer.

Next, I used Wanted to Say Dies to cut “Happy Birthday” from Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I cut the backing from Woven Textures Designer Paper, glued them together, and attached the words with Dimensionals.

How do like the miniature scissors? They were cut with Crafting with You Dies from Silver Foil and Basic Black Cardstock. I love how realistic they are! They are cutting leaves that I stamped in Early Espresso Ink on Woven Textures Designer Paper. As a final touch, I added three Adhesive Backed Textured Dots, and my masculine birthday card was complete.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme challenge: Ocean. First, I have to mention the bubbles! They were created with Champagne Iridescent Dots, which are a discounted, “Last Chance” item. It took some patience to adhere them with Liquid Glue, but the Take Your Pick Tool made it much easier. You can see the tool, along with “Last Chance” items, in my Product List below.

The sea life was cut with Beauty Of The Deep and Seaside Wishes Dies from Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, and glued in place.

“You absolutely made my day” is from the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, used a Delicate Forest Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

Do you have the Cheerful Daisies set? You need to order it now, while it’s still available. The stamp set is $22.50, reduced from $25.00, and the dies are $20.40, reduced from $34.00. For today’s card, I used the large, Cheerful Daisies Die with three flowers, to cut Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper. Then, I layered it with cardstock for thickness.

By Su Mohr; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set, Cheerful Daisies Dies, Textured Notes Dies, Beautiful Bokeh DSP, Painted Striped Stamp, Iridescent Striped Trim, Iridescent Foil gems; #cheerfuldaisies #texturednotes #bokeh #paintedstripes #iridescent #birthdaycards #handmadecards #handcrafted

Cheerful Daisies “Last Chance”

Previously, I had prepared the background of Basic White Cardstock, stamped in Lemon Lolly Ink with the Painted Stripes Stamp. After stamping, I used the second largest, Textured Notes Die for cutting. Then, I attached Iridescent Striped Trim across the layer, and glued it to a Lemon Lolly card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I stamped, “Wishing you the brightest birthday,” in Memento Black Ink, and used a Textured Notes Die for cutting. After cutting, I attached it with Dimensionals on top of the ribbon. Continuing to make the birthday card “bright,” I added three, Iridescent Foil Gems.
