This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge in the soft colors of Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, and Soft Sea Foam. I hope you like the flowers I created with Delightful Wishes “two-part” dies. I started by cutting the bottom portion of the flowers from Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath Cardstock.

Text and Flowers
Next, the top, detailed portion, was cut from Basic White Cardstock, that I colored with Blending Brushes. This gives a slight variation to the color. The leaves were created the same way; with “two-part” dies and Soft Sea Foam.

For the background, I stamped an Elements Of Text Stamp in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used the second largest Textured Notes Die for cutting. This layer was glued to a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I glued the leaves to the flowers, and attached them with Dimensionals.

“Thanks” is from the Everyday Arches Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink. To complete my design, I added three, Iridescent Pearls.

Now, it’s your turn to get creative with these lovely, soft colors. Don’t forget to tag your post #GDP489, when you share with social media.

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “Going Dotty.”

The dotted, Country Lace Designer Paper, makes a wonderful background for my wildflowers. I used an Online Exclusive, Textured Notes Die, for cutting the Petal Pink DSP. Then, I glued it to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used three Thoughtful Wishes Dies to cut the wildflowers from Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper. These have been favorites from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. After cutting the flowers, I arranged them, partially gluing them to the background.

The sentiment, “You are seriously the best,” is from the Textured Notes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Thoughtful Journey DSP, used a Textured Notes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the design, I added three Iridescent Foil Gems.

This week at Global Design project, we get to CASE Jay Soriano’s creative wedding card. I made a birthday card, featuring a bunny, but I think you’ll see some similarities. We’d love to see your CASE of Jay’s card, and remember to use #GDP488.

I began with a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with the same Country Lace Designer Paper that Jay used. The Basic Beige print is 3 1/4″ X 4 1/4″, and the Petal Pink print is 3/4″ X 4 1/4″. Instead of the car, my focal point is a bunny, cut from Storybook Moments Designer Paper with a Storybook Friends Die.

Birthday Bunny
I framed the bunny with Country Woods Designer Paper, cut with a Storybook Friends Die. After layering the frame with cardstock for thickness, it was ready to glue in place.

Prior to gluing the frame, I cut a branch from Country Lace Designer Paper with a Golden Greenery Die. Then, I backed it with cardstock for thickness, and glued the center of the branch in place, leaving the ends free for dimension.
Before attaching the bunny with Dimensionals, I stamped the vertical “Happy Birthday” in Crumb Cake Ink. Then, I gave the bunny some Swirl Dots, which could be eggs. This would have made a good Easter card, but I liked the vertical sentiment:)
