Delightful Wishes Blossoms

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Today’s card began with a fabulous branch, cut from Floral Delight Designer Paper. I doubled it for thickness to give it some dimension. Isn’t it great? The background is the same paper, 3 1/4″ X 4 1/2″, layered on Floral Delight gingham, 4″ X 5 1/4″, layered on a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Blossoming Branch

After gluing the layers, and the branch, I used a Delightful Wishes Die to cut blossoms from the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Paper. After cutting, I placed the blossoms on Dimensionals, and attached them to the branch.

To complete the card, I used a Delightful Wishes Die to cut “wishing” from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and glued it in place. I added three, Brushed Brass Butterflies, as a final touch.

Delightful Wishes Fun Fold Card

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.

For today’s card, I’m showcasing the Delightful Wishes Bundle and coordinating designer paper. This fun fold looks complicated, but the good news is, it’s not!

Delightful Wishes Fun Fold

I began with a card base of Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.

After cutting and folding, I glued Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, and 5 1/4″ X 1″, to the front of the card base. I also glued Gingham Vellum, 2/3/4″ X 4″, to the front of the top piece. Then, I decorated the top piece with fussy cut flowers, and In Color Resin Dots. “Lots of love” is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with a Delightful Wishes Die. I snipped the left side of the label to make it shorter.

The trickiest part of the fun fold is gluing the top piece to the card base. I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying it folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I glued the front first ( just 1″ of glue), and the back (2 1/2″ of glue).

To complete the inside, I used Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 14″ X 2 3/4″, which I cut with a Delightful Wishes Die to make a cute pattern.

After gluing the designer paper, I used Delightful Wishes Dies to cut “wishing” from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and the backing from Floral Delight DSP in Old Olive. After gluing “wishing,” I completed the sentiment with “you a happy birthday.” This is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with another Delightful Wishes Die. The flower was fussy cut from Floral Delight DSP, and attached with a Dimensional, as a final touch.

Nontraditional Valentine

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

I had fun, using the colors in this week’s Global Design Project challenge, to make a nontraditional Valentine. Join in the challenge, and let us see how you use these colors. Don’t forget to tag it #GDP481.

The heart looked so pretty in Calypso Coral, I began there by using two, Hearts Of Elegance Dies, to cut three hearts from Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper. Prior to cutting, I stamped two of them in Calypso Coral Ink with an Elements Of Text stamp. Then, I glued two tips of the hearts together, and place them on Dimensionals.

Nontraditional Valentine

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″, glued to Splendid Autumn Designer Paper,  4″ X 5 1/4″,  in Old Olive. Prior to gluing, I used a Delightful Wishes Die to cut the diagonal pattern, Isn’t it fun? I also stamped splotches in “stamped-off” Pretty Peacock Ink, using another Element Of Text stamp. This double layer was glued to a Pretty Peacock card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

To complete my card, I stamped “Happy Valentine’s Day,” from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set, in Pretty Peacock Ink.

Spring Corners Meets Delightful Wishes

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Blue and yellow is such a pretty color combination, and I love how the Floral & Gingham Vellum brings them together. I used a Spring Corners (heart) Die, and a Delightful Wishes (flower) Die to cut the vellum. I had to twirl the flower die around the petals to find the match, so it takes a little patience. But, once found, it’s an exact match!

Spring Corners Vellum

Next, I stamped “wishing you an amazing day,” and the corner lines, in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. After stamping, I glued the layer to a Pool Party card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The stamps are from the Spring Corners Stamp Set, which is a unique set in Online Exclusives. Clicking on the picture in my Product List, or my Online Exclusive Link below, will take you there.

After positioning the hearts and flowers, I stamped the dots in Memento Black Ink. This stamp is also in the Spring Corners Stamp Set. To complete the card, I glued the hearts flat, and attached the flowers with Dimensionals.

Heart Shaped Beautiful Bokeh

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, plus the Heart Shaped Bundle, equals “LOVE.” First, I stamped the wonderful heart, from the Heart Shaped Stamp Set, in Soft Sea Foam Ink, on Beautiful Bokeh DSP, 3″ X 4″. Then, I used the Heart Shaped Die to cut two hearts; one in Basic White Cardstock, and one in Beautiful Bokeh DSP, and glued them on top of the stamped heart.

Bokeh Love

Next, I backed the 3″ X 4″ Beautiful Bokeh DSP with Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/8″ X 4 1/8″. This was attached, with Dimensionals, to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to attaching, I embossed the entire card base with the extra large, So Swirly Embossing Folder.

“Love” was cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock with a Paper Pumpkin die from The Love Of Spring Dies. Click on the picture in my Product List below to learn more about it. After layering “love” for thickness, I glued it in place, and added three Iridescent Gems to complete my card.

Delightful Wishes in Beautiful Bokeh

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Ahhhh, the beauty of Beautiful Bokeh! For my first card with the Delightful Wishes Bundle, I wanted to combine it with the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper. Using five of the Delightful Wishes Dies, I created the three flowers. I studied page 33 in the 2025 January-April Mini Catalog to see how to place the detailed portion of the flowers; matching is a little tricky.

Delightful Bokeh

The center of the flowers, and this fabulous branch, were cut from Floral Delight Designer Paper. I backed the branch with cardstock for thickness, before gluing it in place. Don’t you love it? The background is Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Wishing” was cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock with a Delightful Wishes Die. Caution: If you want to dot the “i”, they are tiny. To complete the sentiment, I used “you a happy birthday,” from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink on Beautiful Bokeh DSP, and used its Delightful Wishes Die for cutting. After adding a layer of cardstock for thickness, I glued it in place, and attached the flowers with Dimensionals.

I’m sharing with TGIF.
