The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape is so pretty, I wanted to use it on a card front just the way it is. But, rather than leave it flat, I thought it would be fun to “pop it up.”

“Popped Up” Washi Tape
I began by rolling, and ahereing, the washi tape to Basic White Cardstock, 3 14″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with its Extraordinary Flora Die. After cutting, I carefully turned it upside down, leaving the cut pieces attached to the die. A few came loose, but they were easily replaced.

Next, I attached Mini Dimensionals to the cut pieces; yes, quite a few. After removing the dimensional’s backing, I placed another piece of Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/4″ X 5 1/4″, on top, turned it over, and voila! Before gluing it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I backed it with Fresh Freesia Cardstock, 1/8″ larger.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Lovely Arrangements Die for cutting, and glued it in place.

I was inspired by TGIF.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE a fun design by Wendy Weixler. Her paper pieced flowers are wonderful, which inspired my design. We’d love to see what you create, so please share it on social media, and tag it #gdp544.

I chose the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set to show off the paper piecing technique, and stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used the same stamp with Memento Black Ink, and stamped it on three patterns of Lovely & Beautiful Designer Paper. Then, I used scissors to hand-cut the flowers, leaves, and blossoms along the black lines.

Paper Piecing
Prior to gluing the flowers, leaves and blossoms in place, I used the second largest Branching Out Die for cutting. Then, I layered this on green, Lovely & Beautiful Designer Paper, cut with the largest Branching Out Die. Both layers were glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4.

“Hello” is from the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink. To add just a little shine, I attached Epoxy Shapes to the centers of the flowers. I had so much fun creating today’s card. But, don’t get me wrong; it requires tedious cutting, and would only be enjoyed by those who like to fussy cut. There are Fragrant Layers Dies to cut the images, which would give a similar look.

This is my second card using the combination of the Notes Of Spring stamp set and Forever Florals Dies. This stamp set was last month’s Product of the Month for only $5.00, and will be available as long as supplies last.

Notes Of Spring Rabbit
I began by using a Forever Florals die to cut Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper. The rabbit, from the Notes Of Spring stamp set, was stamped in Early Espresso Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, and a second stamp was used with Crumb Cake Ink for coloring. This “two-step” stamping makes coloring very easy! After coloring, I fussy cut the rabbit and attached it to the leaves with Dimensionals.

Next, I glued the leaves to a Petal Pink Cardstock circle, cut with a Spotlight On Nature die. This circle was attached with Dimensionals to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to attaching the circle, I gave the card base texture with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder.

To complete the card, I stamped “a little note of thanks” in Early Espresso Ink, a Notes Of Spring sentiment. As a final touch, I added I attached three, Pearls of Beauty.

This is my third card using the combination of the Notes Of Spring Stamp Set and Forever Florals Dies. This stamp set was last month’s Product of the Month for only $5.00, and will be available as long as supplies last.

Notes Of Spring Goose
I began by using the largest Forever Florals die to cut Lovely Blossoms Designer Paper. Then, I glued it to a Cloud Cover card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I stamped the goose in Secret Sea Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Forever Florals die for cutting. Then, I used a Forever Florals die, a size larger, to cut Brushed with Beauty DSP, and glued them together. This was attached to the center of the card front with Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I stamped “Happiest Birthday Wishes” in Secret Sea Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After cutting this Notes Of Spring sentiment with a Perennial Postage die, I attached it with Dimensionals. Finally, I added three tiny flowers, cut with a Forever Florals die from Basic White Cardstock, and embellished the flowers with Iridescent Pearls.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme: “pattern.” Please join our challenge, and share on social media with #gdp543.

I chose a pattern of circles and dots, incorporating some fun, new, products, I received at OnStage. The new products will be available May 5th, along with everything in the May-August 2026 Catalog!

Dotted Circles Birthday Card
I began by embossing Lost Lagoon Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 5″, with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder. Then, I glued the layer to a Pool Party card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used the 2″ Circle Punch with a new designer paper, Beautiful Ordinary Life. After punching three circles, I attached them to the card front with Dimensionals. The balloons were punched out from Meant For You Mix & Match Ephemera, and attached with Dimensionals. These have peel & stick capabilities, but work with Dimensionals also.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on a Meant For You Ephemera label, and attached it with Dimensionals. I used a third new product to complete the card; three Sunset Sparkle Sequins.
