There’s only a couple more days until the May-August 2026 Catalog goes live, and today’s card gives you a sneak peek of a favorite suite, Valley In Bloom. I began by using a Lily Of The Valley Die to cut lilies from Thick Basic White Cardstock. I backed it with a second cut, so the “overhang” would be nice and sturdy.

Valley In Bloom Sneak Peek
Next, I used the largest, Perennial Postage Die to cut a gorgeous design of Valley In Bloom Designer Paper.

After gluing the large design to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″, I used two smaller Perennial Postage Dies to cut solid pieces of Valley In Bloom Designer Paper. These were backed with Cardstock for thickness, glued together, and attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

“Just a note” is from the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, doubled it, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I attached the lilies, along with three, Sunset Sparkle Sequins.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

For the first day in May, I’m giving you a sneak peek of a new designer paper, Artisan Sketched Garden, available May 5th. One of the many fun things at On Stage is getting to play with new products. We were given the supplies to make this card, sitting together at tables, coloring to our hearts content. I used Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, and Mossy Meadow.
The sentiment, “to a marvelous person on their birthday,” is from the Sending Salutations Stamp Set. This stamp set was given to everyone who attended On Stage. The circles were already cut, and we just stamped the sentiment, and attached it with Dimensionals.
There are more black and white patterns in the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP pack, providing hours of coloring fun. The number is 167752.

This is my second card using a Global Design Project sketch challenge. It should have posted the week of April 6. I began with a Sweet Bugs Die to cut three ants from the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper. (It cuts three ants at the same time). Next, I used Stylish Shapes Dies to cut three, small squares, and four, small circles from Basic White Cardstock. Then, I attached the three ants to the squares with Dimensionals.

Cute As A Bug Ants
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 31/2″ X 4 3/4″, glued to Cute As A Bug Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.Then, I glued the circles flat, and attached the squares with Dimensionals.

“Hello” is from the Sweet Blooms Stamp Set. I stamped it in Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

Product of the Month ($5.00 with a $75.00 order).

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along. Today’s “flap fold” features sneak peeks of new products that will be available May 5th! The Silly Old Bear Designer Paper and Scalloped Blooms are two of my favorites.

Silly Old Bear Fun Fold
To create the card base, I cut Pecan Pie Cardstock 8″ X 4 1/4″, scored at 2 1/2″. Then, I glued two pieces of the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper to the card base: 5 1/4″ X 4″ (inside) and 2 1/4″ X 4″ (front).

Next, I used the 4th largest Scalloped Blooms Die to cut a second pattern of Silly Old Bear DSP, which I backed with Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then, I used the same Scalloped Blooms Die to cut Very Vanilla Cardstock for the inside of the card. I was careful to line up the scalloped cuts, so the inside isn’t visible when the card is closed.

The sentiment, “have a good day,” is from the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, used a Scalloped Blooms Die for cutting, and glued it in place. Decorating the front of the card is Winnie the Pooh, fussy cut from the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper, and attached with Dimensionals.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, using Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, and Bubble Bath. I hope you’ll be inspired by our designers, then create your own project, using these colors. And, remember to tag it #gdp545.

I’m giving you a sneak peek of a bundle named “Ouch,” which will be available May 5th. My granddaughter, and her pre-school friends, are obsessed with bandages! You can imagine my delight when seeing this new bundle was available. For my simple design, I chose Strawberry Slush for the card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder.

Colorful Ouch Bandages
Next, I had fun stamping the flowers from the Ouch Stamp Set in the three challenge colors of ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used an Ouch Die to cut the bandages, and glued them in place. A smaller Ouch Die was used to cut more bandages, from the same three colors of cardstock. These were arranged, and attached with Dimensionals.

The words, “ouch,” and “be brave,” are from the Ouch Stamp Set. I stamped them in Black Ink, used a Words Of Beauty Die for cutting, and attached them with Dimensionals. For some fun shine, I added Sunset Sparkle Sequins.

Here is Lily, proudly wearing a bandage on her leg. We heard that bandages were causing such a disruption in her pre-school classroom that the teacher had to say, “no blood, no Bandaid.”

Today’s card is a sneak peek of my favorite, new, suite of products, available May 5th. I’ve always loved Winnie the Pooh, and I can’t tell you how excited I was to see the Stampin’ Up! suite, including stamp sets, dies, and designer paper!

Pooh and Piglet
The first thing I did was match the Sweet Old Friend Dies to the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper. While I was cutting, I duplicated the cuts from Very Vanilla Cardstock for backing.

Next, I cut a woods scene, 5″ X 3″, from the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper, and used a Bordered in Beauty Die (also new, and available May 5th) to trim the top and bottom. Then, I glued it to a striped pattern of Silly Old Bear DSP, 5″ X 4 1/4″, which I glued to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “the best kind of days are the days spent with you,” is from the Sweet Words & Labels Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink, and used a Sweet Words & Labels Die for cutting. After attaching the sentiment with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, my card was complete.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
