From soft petals to bold blooms, today’s projects are packed with fresh floral inspiration to help you create something beautiful. Whether you love clean and simple designs or layers of color and texture, you’re going to love hopping along with us!
What a perfect opportunity to show off the gorgeous, Valley In Bloom Designer Paper!

Valley In Bloom Fun Fold
I began with a card base of Pool Party Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/4″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half. After cutting and folding, I added Valley In Bloom Designer Paper: 5″ X 2 3/4″, and 5″ X 1″ to the front of the card base. And, 2 /3/4″ X 4″ to the front of the top piece. When gluing the top piece, I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even.

Next, I added Valley In Bloom Designer Paper to the inside, 5″ X 2 3/4″, along with a sentiment from the Words & Wishes Stamp Set. After stamping “Happy Birthday” in Garden Green Ink on the DSP, I used a Words & Wishes Die for cutting, layered it for thickness, and glued it in place.

To complete the card front, I used Words & Wishes Dies to cut the words “For you” from Valley In Bloom DSP. After layering the words on cardstock for thickness, I glued them in place. For a little sparkle, I added Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.

Thank you for stopping by and hopping with us today! We hope our Flowers in Bloom projects brought you lots of creative inspiration. Next month we’ll be sharing projects featuring the NEW In Color family, and we can’t wait to show you just how amazing these fresh new colors are.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme: landscapes. I was excited to use one of the landscapes from the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper. The scene is part of Winnie the Pooh’s “100 Aker Wood.”

100 Aker Wood
I began by using the second largest Everyday Arches Die to cut this scene from Silly Old Bear Designer Paper. The card base was cut from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I created the arch by placing the largest Everyday Arches Die just over the left side of the fold, and running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Prior to gluing the scene to the card base, I used a Sweet Words & Labels Die to cut a “hole” for the sentiment. Then, I stamped “It never hurts to keep looking up” in Early Espresso Ink on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, used the same die for cutting, and placed it in the “hole.” This sentiment, from the Sweet Words & Labels Stamp Set, is so cute with Pooh and Piglet looking up. They were fussy cut from Silly Old Bear Designer Paper, and attached with Dimensionals.

I completed the inside with Very Vanilla Cardstock, cut with the second largest Everyday Arches Die. The final touch was Pooh and Piglet having a picnic, also fussy cut from Silly Old Bear Designer Paper.

We’d love to see your landscape, and don’t forget to tag it #gdp547.

This week’s sketch, from Freshly Made Sketches, was very inspiring.

When I was imagining what to do with the sketch, I thought of using the smallest, square, Stylish Shapes Die. After deciding to use Waterside Retreat Designer Paper, I thought it would be fun to cut up a beach scene.

Waterside Retreat Squares
It turned out that twelve squares fit perfectly on a layer of Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. I kept the squares in order as they were cut, and attached them to the card front with Dimensionals. The card base is Cloud Cover Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. One space was left open for the sentiment, stamped in Gray Granite Ink on Basic White Cardstock. “Here’s to a new chapter” is from the Relaxing Waterside Stamp Set.

Just for fun, I glued the “missing” square to the inside.

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month it’s a color challenge.

The 2026-2028 In Colors are gorgeous, and I combined three of them with a new bundle, Boutique Blossoms. Using a Boutique Blossoms stamp, I stamped a flower in Barely Blush, Golden Glow, and Crisp Cantaloupe on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Boutique Blossoms Die for cutting, and placed the flowers on Dimensionals.

Boutique Blossoms In Color
Next, using a Boutique Blossoms Die, I cut three branches from matching colors of 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper. After attaching the flowers with Dimensionals, I glued the branches in place.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″, embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. This layer was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “just a note,” is from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Golden Glow Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Lovely Arrangements Die for cutting. and glued it in place. As a final touch, I added 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies in the three colors.

Color challenges are great for inspiration! This week’s TGIF challenge uses three colors: Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Melon Mambo.

I was excited to use the new bundle, Lily Of The Valley, and began by stamping lilies from the stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Blender Pen with Coastal Cabana Ink to color the flowers. After coloring, I used a Lily Of The Valley Die for cutting.

Lily Of The Valley color challenge
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″, embossed with the Floral Spray Embossing Folder. I layered it on Valley In Bloom Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, layered on a Melon Mambo card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “to a forever kind of friend,” is from the Lily Of The Valley Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink, used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. After gluing the lilies, and embellishing with gems, my card was complete.

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge. I hope you’ll join in the fun, and share your creation on social media. Don’t forget to tag it #gdp546.

Since tomorrow is the day the May-August 2026 catalog goes live, I’m giving you a sneak peek from one of my favorite suites, Waterside Retreat. The designer paper is gorgeous, and it’s suitable for masculine cards, which we all need.

Waterside Retreat Birds
To begin the design, I used the largest Spotlight On Nature Die to cut a pattern of birds from the Waterside Retreat Designer Paper. Then, I cut the plain sky, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After gluing the sky to the left edge, I decided I wanted a Gray Granite border on the right side, so I trimmed off 1/4″. The circle was glued to the left edge, with the right half raised on Dimensionals.

“Enjoy your day” is from the Balloon Festoon Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on the “sky” paper, used a Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the card, I added three 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

I almost forgot to tell you, I cut a circle from the “sky” paper on the card front, before gluing. As an afterthought, I glued it to the inside for a personal message.
