This is the LAST DAY of Sale-a-bration 2023. The FREE gifts are listed below, and if you want anything, it’s “now or never.”
For today’s card I used two of the FREE gift items; Dandy Designs Designer Paper and the Thanks A Bunch Stamp Set. You can see all of them below.
I began with a Granny Apple Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die.

Layered Thanks
This was followed with a layer of Dandy Designs Designer Paper (Mango Melody), cut with the second largest Scalloped Contours Die, and Basic White Cardstock, cut with the third largest Scalloped Contours Die. Prior to gluing these layers together, I stamped “thanks,” from the Thanks A Bunch Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink.

The focal point on top was created with three, Something Fancy Dies. The largest die was used to cut Dandy Designs Designer Paper in a pattern of Granny Apple Green.
The second largest was used to cut Basic White Cardstock, where I stamped “a bunch,” and a bunny in Memento Black Ink. Isn’t the bunny cute? He’s from the Spring Blessings Stamp Set.
The smallest die was used to cut the holes at the top, which could convert this to a tag. I glued the area with the holes together, and raised the rest of the white portion on Dimensionals. Then, I attached the entire “tag” with Dimensionals, on an angle.

To tie the card together, I stamped carrots, from the Thanks A Bunch Stamp Set, in Pumpkin Pie Ink, and the carrot tops in Granny Apple Green Ink. After fussy cutting, I glued them together, and attached the carrots with Dimensionals. This made the bunny very happy.

I was inspired by TGIF.

This is the last day of Sale-a-bration 2023, and FREE gifts with qualifying orders. The Sale-a-bration items are pictured below, as long as supplies last.

Welcome to this week’s Global Design Project, which is a theme: Spring. This could be so many things; I hope you will join us, and hang your card in our gallery.

I’ve been gravitating towards the Spring Blessings Stamp Set. And, today’s card features the darling, tiny, bunny, which could easily be overlooked. As I stamped him in Memento Black Ink on a light gray spot of Dainty Flowers Designer Paper (FREE during Sale-a-bration), he said his name was Tiny. Additionally, he said he would show off better, if I elevated him on Dimensionals, after fussy cutting. That seemed reasonable, so I accommodated him.

Tiny the Bunny
Next, Tiny said he wanted a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″ with lots of white space. I suggested a border, using the largest Stitched Whimsy Die, and he thought that wouldn’t interfere with his clean & simple idea.
For the sentiment, Tiny wanted to say “hello” in Memento Black Ink, and “hoping this Spring brings you many blessings” in Parakeet Party Ink.
After stamping the sentiments on the card front, Tiny said he was hungry, and didn’t think a few carrots would detract. Fortunately, I found the perfect carrots in our FREE, Sale-a-bration stamp set, Thanks A Bunch. I stamped the carrots in Pumpkin Pie Ink, and fussy cut them, just the way Tiny requested. Then, I stamped the carrot tops in Parakeet Party Ink, and glued the carrots in place.

But, something was missing. Tiny said the FREE, Sale-a-bration, Eden Die Set, had a perfect, tiny, wreath, that I could cut from Dandy Designs Designer Paper. So I did.
To complete the card, I added three 2022-2024 Matte Dots in Parakeet Party. I don’t think Tiny noticed, because he was busy looking at his carrots; hopefully he’s okay with a “tiny” embellishment.

Look who hopped onto today’s card…Wee the kiwi, from the Count On Me Stamp Set! She appeared after being stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, colored with Crumb Cake and Bronze Stampin’ Blends, and cut free with Paper Snips.

Wee the Kiwi
For Wee’s background, she wanted a Soft Succulent card base (her favorite color), measuring 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. And, this had to have a Basic White layer, 4″ X 5 1/4″, cut with a Split Card Textures Die. She was very specific about needing Soft Succulent to show through the angled die-cut.
Wee was especially excited to use the Split Card Textures Die, because it has been out of stock, but is available again.

Once the background was created, Wee said she wanted to make a “congratulations” card, and could write that word perfectly in Evening Evergreen Ink. I have to say, her penmanship (Happiness Abounds Stamp Set) is better than mine!
Now, the only thing missing was foliage, which we found in the Decorative Borders Stamp Set. The vine was stamped two times in Evening Evergreen Ink, and colored with Soft Succulent (of course), and Old Olive Stampin Blends.

Wee can’t wait to show off her card at Freshly Made Sketches!

I’m loving the Ginkgo Branch Dies paired with the Fancy Flora Designer Paper, two favorites from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. This time I used the large Ginkgo Branch Die to cut from a pattern of Fancy Flora Designer Paper. It’s so easy to do, and isn’t it pretty?

Ginkgo Easter Blessings
For the background, I used the third largest Deckled Rectangles Die to cut Basic White Cardstock, which is layered on Mint Macaron Cardstock, cut with the second largest Deckled Rectangles Die. The layers are glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Before gluing the layers, I embossed the card front with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder, also a favorite.

Next, I stamped “Easter Blessings,” from the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink. Then, I used the plain oval of the Double Oval Punch for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals. It was backed with Pool Party Cardstock, cut with the scalloped oval of the Double Oval Punch, which was glued flat.

To complete the card, I attached the Ginkgo Branch with Dimensionals (Mini and tiny cut pieces), and glued the bottom stems flat.
The final detail was adding three Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems.

The Favored Flowers Designer Paper is wonderful, and a FREE Sale-a-bration item that is available until February 28, as long as supplies last. I designed three, “idea” cards that I’m sharing this week.
For the third design, I fussy cut flowers from a pattern that didn’t have a coordinating Fragrant Flowers Die.

Fussy Cut Flowers
To give the flowers a resting place, I used an Irresistible Blooms Die to cut a wreath from Basic Black Cardstock. This is from an exciting new set of online exclusives, available March 1. Come back for more details!
Beneath the wreath is Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″) embossed with a Fragrant Flowers Die on four corners. After embossing the layer, I attached it with Dimensionals to a Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″).

“Thanks” is from the Amazing Thanks Die Set, which I used to cut Basic Black Cardstock for the “bubble,” and Basic White Cardstock for the word. Then, I glued the “th” on top of the flowers, and raised the “anks” on tiny pieces of Dimensionals.

For a final touch of sparkle, I added Iridescent Rhinestones. I love these, because they go with every color!
