The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This card includes items from the Seasonal Sale that is ending today. Don’t miss out! Click on the Seasonal Sale picture below for details.

Stampin’ Fancy Friday Sketch Challenge
This month is a sketch challenge.

Using a card sketch is one of my favorite ways to boost my creative mojo. Looking at the sketch, I used Full Of Life Designer Paper to cut two pieces with Paper Snips and two with Everyday Details Dies.

Then, I glued the two “paper snipped” pieces to Basic White Cardstock, embossed it with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Granny Apple Green card base.

“Hi” is from the Friends For Life Stamp Set. The “die-cut” pieces were attached with Dimensionals, and as a finishing touch, I added three Shiny Sequins.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Random Acts of Kindness. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
It’s time to make my favorite gift card holders! This year, I chose two colors of cardstock, Real Red and Garden Green, to coordinate with Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper. For an extra dose of kindness, with each purchase of the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to support children’s literacy around the world.

2024 Gift Card Holders
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut 8 1/2″ X 11″ cardstock into one piece that is 7 3/4″ X 10″. With the 7 3/4 side at the top, score at 6″ and 2 1/2″. Then, on the 10″ side, cut in half at 5″, making two gift card holders.
It helps to have the right tools, and Stampin’ Up’s Paper Trimmer is my favorite for measuring, cutting, and scoring.

To decorate the gift card holders, cut two pieces of Designer Series Paper: The bottom front is 4 3/4″ X 2 1/4″. The top front is 4 3/4″ X 1 1/2″.
Cut one piece of Basic White Cardstock for the sentiment on the inside, 4 3/4″ X 1 1/2″.
Use a circle punch, or die, to make a finger slot in the middle of the bottom front.
Attach a piece of Tear & Tape to each side of the bottom (inside), and close, sealing your pocket.

Cut the bands 7 3/4″ X 1″. Score at 6 1/8″ and 2 1/2″. You want that extra 1/8 inch on the scoring, so the band will slide off and on easily. Glue the band with the attached edge in front, which keeps the back looking smooth and pretty.
Decorate the bands with stockings, cut with Sentimental Wishes Dies from Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper. After adding cardstock for thickness, glue the stocking to the band, covering the attached edge.

Thanks for stopping by.

There’s more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Home for the Holidays.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme: Holiday Icons. There is a cute little Christmas tree in the Iconic Imagery Stamp Set, so this is how I began. I stamped three trees in Garden Green Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used their Iconic Imagery Die die for cutting.

Holiday Icons
For the background, I chose a snowflake pattern of Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper, 5″ X 3 3/4″, embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The words, “Celebrate” and “the season” are from the Iconic Imagery Stamp Set. I stamped them in Garden Green on the same designer paper, and used their Iconic Imagery Dies for cutting. After layering the label dies for thickness, and gluing the tips of the trees to the labels, I attached the connected piece with Dimensionals.

Next, I cut a 5″ paper ribbon, with holly, from Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper, and glued it in place. To complete the card, I added three Snowflake Embellishments.

Now, it’s your turn to create a card with Holiday Icons. Be sure to use #GDP471, and share it with social media.

While punching out Tags for the Season and Joyful Images Ephemera Packs, I created two, simple, snowman cards. I can’t resist a cute snowman! You can click on the pictures in my Product List below to see all of the tags and images.

Merry Snowman
For the first card, I used two, long blue tags, covering the holes with the sentiment. I stamped “Merry” in Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White cardstock, and used a Delicate Forest Die for cutting. “Christmas” is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set. The other tag was given “Merry,” cut from Gold Foil, with a Paper Pumpkin, Merry Tags & More Die. These were attached to a background of Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Misty Moonlight card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After attaching the tags with Dimensionals, and gluing the snowman in place, I added three, gold, snowflakes.

For the second card, I used two long, white, tags, stamping one with “Christmas,” from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, in Misty Moonlight Ink. This time I cut “merry” from Misty Moonlight Cardstock, and layered it for thickness. The background is Winter Meadow Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, glued to a Misty Moonlight card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I attached the tags with Dimensionals, and tied a bow of Natural Tones Linen Thread through the holes. To complete the card, I added three, white, snowflakes.

I was inspired by TGIF.

The Sweetest Star Stamp Set has the cutest Santa, that can be cut with a punch! For today’s card, I colored Basic White Cardstock with a Blending Brush and Cherry Cobbler Ink, and stamped Santa in Cherry Cobbler Ink.

Sweetest Star
Santa wanted to be surrounded in stars, so I used two Iconic Imagery Dies to cut the stars from Full Of Life Designer Paper. This gave the stars a nice variation in color, and I placed them on Dimensionals. Prior to attaching Santa and the stars to Basic White cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, I used a Regal Flora stamp and Cherry Cobbler ink to make dots. This layer was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Wishing you a holly jolly Christmas” is in the Sweetest Star Stamp Set, which I stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After trimming the sentiment to 4″ X 1/2″, I attached it with Dimensionals. For a little shine, I added three Adhesive-Backed Iridescent Discs.
