Hi Friends! I’m home from New York, and ready for a card challenge. In fact, I was ready for two!

Daisy “hi”
I decided to use daisies, when I saw CAS(E) this sketch.
And, my idea would work with Global Design Project’s colors.
I began by making the daisies with So Saffron ink, Rococo Rose ink, and Whisper White Cardstock.
I stamped one large, and one small daisy, from the Daisy Lane stamp set, in So Saffron ink. Then, I used the two sizes of Daisy Punches for cutting the So Saffron daisies, and punched two more in white. The two white daisies were colored with Rococo Rose ink by using a Sponge Dauber.
I curled the petals with my Bone Folder, and glued them together.
TIP: The centers were made by using the Medium Daisy Punch on a 6X6 piece of Rococo Rose In-Color DSP, and cutting the centers with the 1/2 Inch Circle Punch. This gives the cute, notched, detail.
The daisy stems were cut with a Well Written die from Whisper White Cardstock. After cutting, I colored the stems with Mint Macaron ink, using a Sponge Dauber.
The background is Whisper White Cardstock on a Thick Whisper White card base, with a 2″ X 4″ section of W W Cardstock that I embossed with the Lace 3D Folder.
I deliberated about the sentiment, and I’m happy with the final choice. The word “hi” is from the Hand-Lettered Prose Die Set, cut from the same 6X6 DSP as the daisy centers. I attached the daisies with Dimensionals, and my card was complete.
Thank you for stopping by. It’s so nice we can say “hi” to each other this way! Only a couple more days until September 4th, when you can order from Stampin’ Up’s Holiday Catalog! Send me an email, if you haven’t received your catalog yet: suheilmohr@gmail.com.

Your card is just too stinking cute. I absolutely love it. It took me a couple of times reading the instruction for making the daisy center with the notches, but I finally got it. That was brilliant! Thank you so much for this idea.~Cheryl~
Thank you, Cheryl! I’m glad you figured out how I made the notches! From all the questions, I see I should have made it more obvious.
I just don’t know what words to use to describe this card. I absolutely LOVE it! It caught my eye and I can’t stop looking at it. Stunning, adorable, beautiful are just a few words that come to mind. It is a CASE for sure, with your permission, please.
Hi Deb! I’m so glad you like it! Yes, of course you may!
Thank you, I will make sure to send you my version once I make it.
Hi Su… Love your card!!! I understand the 1/2 round circle punch, to make the center of your flower. It’s the notches that I don’t understand unless you used a small hole punch to create the notches???
Hi Angie, thank you! My explanation is the TIP above the second photo. I first punched the Medium Daisy, and then using the 1/2” punch on it makes the notches.
Love your card! How did you do the center of the daisies, with the notches for the petals. great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Teresa, you must have missed my TIP. It’s just above the second photo. I’m so glad you like it!
Hi Su, I spent an hour trying to figure out the notches in the flower centers…but later as I was looking through the dies for something I came across the car gears and realized…I bet that’s how the notches came into being. I love the card. Thanks for sharing. Georgia
