It was a wonderful experience at Stampin’ Up! OnStage in Las Vegas, and I couldn’t wait to get home, and start sharing with you! Everyone attending received this Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, and who doesn’t like tulips? Southern states need to plant the bulbs in November and December, so it’s the perfect time to think about these gorgeous flowers.

Hello 2020

The Timeless Tulips Set comes with a coordinating Punch, which I will have to order, so I used my Paper Snips for today’s card. I stamped the tulip in Calypso Coral Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and fussy cut the flower. Since I was already fussy cutting, I stamped a second flower, and cut three petals, raising them on Mini-Dimensionals.

TIP: Trim the petals smaller in the center, so a separation will show.

Next, I stamped four leaves and the stem in Old Olive Ink, and fussy cut along the lines, so there wasn’t a white border. Flowers and plants are very forgiving, so the cutting doesn’t have to be exact. Yay!

The background is a Thick Whisper White card base, with rounded corners, and Stylish Scroll embossing. I used the Detailed Trio Punch for rounding the corners, which you can see in my Product List below. It’s a very handy tool!

I wanted to place my tulip on a rectangle, because I was using Global Design Project’s CASE the designer, Sarah Berry.

My rectangle is Thick Whisper White Cardstock, which I cut with an Ornate Frames Die. I used the 1/16th Inch Handheld Hole Punch, so my tulip could grow through it, by placing the stem through the hole.

“Hello” is from the Timeless Tulips Stamps Set, which I stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink.

The Timeless Tulip Stamp Set is #151534, which Demonstrators can pre- order Dec. 3. Customers can order the set Jan 3, so start making your “want lists.”

Ask me how to become a demonstrator. Believe it or not, it’s simple, and most customers become demonstrators just for the discount. Plus, you can order a month earlier. There’s no obligation, and the Starter Kit is a GREAT deal!

My blog post tomorrow is all about the Stampin’ Up! three day sale, Nov. 20-22, so be sure to come back tomorrow and check it out. I will post the entire list, plus pictures of the Bundles.
