Summer Happiness for Global Design Project

The set Emma used is retired, but I used a new set from July Online Exclusives, which has smaller, but very refreshing drinks.

Here’s to you!

I began by stamping the drinks, from the Summer Happiness Stamp Set, in Black Hybrid Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Summer Happiness Die for cutting, and colored them with Stampin’ Blends. The drinks were colored in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, and the straws in Strawberry Slush.

The background was cut with a Lovely Arrangements Die from Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Paper, two times. After layering the circles for thickness, I glued them to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “here’s to you,” is from another new bundle, Banner Sayings. It comes with a punch for cutting, but I used a Lovely Arrangements Die to make the label extra narrow. I stamped the words in VersaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, sprinkled it with white WOW powder, set it with the Heat Tool, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the design, I stamped the sun, from the Summer Happiness Stamp Set, in Daffodil Delight Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used its die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Three Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added for some shine.
