Meet Cupcake, from the Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set, an online exclusive. She was so happy to finally be featured on a card, and very helpful with her suggestions. She thought Crumb Cake fur would be the most flattering, and her cupcake should have Bubble Bath frosting, with a Real Red cherry on top. Plus, she wanted the paper wrapping the cupcake to sparkle, and said I should use Wink Of Stella. Wasn’t that a good idea?

Cupcake the Bunny
Next, Cupcake wanted to sit in a circle, which I cut from Basic White Cardstock with the 5th smallest Deckled Circles Die. We found the perfect sentiment in the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set, “Let’s get our celebration on.” The circle behind the white circle was cut from Most Adored Designer Paper with the 8th smallest Deckled Circles Die. And, this was layered on Crumb Cake Cardstock, cut with the 9th smallest deckled Circles Die. I think she got her wish to sit in a circle!

Once the circles were attached together, I glued them to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I embossed the card base with the Stripes Embossing Folder.
To complete Cupcake’s card, she said I needed to add three flowers from Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers. This really made her smile!

Cupcake is excited to share her card with TGIF.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Susan Wong’s fun project.
See how our designers “cased” Susan, then join in the fun, and add your design to our gallery.

I love Susan’s night sky and green trees, and couldn’t wait to give it a try. First, I used the largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut a hole in scratch paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, making a stencil. I placed the stencil on top of Basic White Cardstock of equal size, securing it with Painter’s Tape.

God’s Blessings
Second, I applied three colors of blue ink with Blending Brushes, starting at the bottom with Tahitian Tide. Third, I moved to the top and applied Night of Navy, finishing in the middle with Blueberry Bushel Ink. It’s always fun to remove the stencil, and see what lies beneath! To complete my sky, I added tiny dots of Wink of Stella, making perfect little stars.

Before gluing my sky to a Night Of Navy card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy Ink. “God’s blessings to you” is from the Hope & Peace Stamp Set, available in Online Exclusives, which you can find by clicking on its picture in my Product List below.
This is my first Christmas card for 2023, although, this sentiment could be for many occasions.

To complete the design, I cut three trees from Shaded Spruce and Garden Green Cardstock, and attached them with Dimensionals. The tree is from the Reindeer Die Set, a favorite from last year, and is in our current Annual Catalog. The Regal Reindeer Stamp Set has a darling, Gray Granite, bunny, who hopped on at the last minute. Think we should let him stay?

Meet Cotton, the fabric bunny. She came to life by stamping her in Early Espresso Ink on In Good Taste Designer Paper, and cutting her free.
Cotton requested to stand in front of a circle of beautiful blue sky with white and pink clouds. We found the sky in Flowering Fields Designer Paper, which I cut with the largest Layering Circles Die, and layered it on Blushing Bride Cardstock, cut with the largest, scalloped, Layering Circles Die.

Cotton, the Fabric Bunny
The card base is Pool Party Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with woodgrain, In Good Taste Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. I added an edge of 6″ X 6″ Subtles DSP in plaid, Pool Party, 1/4″ X 5 1/4″.
Cotton said her card had to be an Easter card, and I’d find the perfect sentiment in her Easter Friends Stamp Set. I stamped “Happy Easter” in Early Espresso Ink on the woodgrain DSP, and used a Stitched Rectangles Die for cutting. After adding a layer of cardstock for thickness, I attached the sentiment with Dimensionals.

Next, it was time for Cotton to hop on her card, and she asked for Dimensionals to make her “stand out.” Plus, she wanted a flower to wear on her head. It was lucky for me that a small die fell out of nowhere! I can’t even recall the set where it belongs, but I used it to cut a tiny flower from Blushing Bride Cardstock, and placed it on Cotton’s head. Yes, she also wanted a Rhinestone at the center, and I agreed it was the perfect touch.

Cotton was anxious to join the other bunnies at the Fusion challenge.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Cute Critters. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Easter Friends Stamp Set has such cute critters! This is Hop Hop the bunny, with a surprise “pop-up” on the inside.

Easter Friends Pop-Up Card
Here’s the pop-up surprise, starring Peep, the chick.

To make the pop-up, begin with Highland Heather Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 11″. Next, cut Flowering Fields Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 10 3/4″, scored at 4 1/4″, 5 1/4″, and 6 1/4″. When you fold on the score lines, it will look like a mountain in the middle. Next, glue the bottom half of the DSP to the bottom of the card base. Then, fold flat, and glue the top half of the DSP to the top half of the card base. It works if your borders are even, and you can test before gluing to make sure it forms a right angle.
The sentiment is from the Easter Friends Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink, cut with a Scalloped Contours Die, and glued to the fold along the bottom.
Peep was stamped in Memento Black Ink, colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, fussy cut, and glued in place.

Now, back to the front, which Hop Hop says is the most important. (We’ll let him think that). He is from the Easter Friends Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After coloring him with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends, I used Paper Snips to set him free.
Easter Blessings is from the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape, and cut with the smallest Scalloped Contours Die. After gluing Hop Hop’s feet to the top of the sentiment label, I attached him with Dimensionals.
The background is Subtles 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper in plaid Highland Heather, cut with the second largest Scalloped Contours Die. It is layered on Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die.
To add some color, I used a Horizon Die to cut some grass from Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper. I thought I was finished, but Hop Hop said he wanted to hold a tulip, so I gave him one, cut from the Flowering Fields Designer Paper. Now, he is happy, and excited for Easter!

Thanks for hopping by.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on [second Wednesday]. Our theme will be Fabulous Flowers when our Design Team creates a project using any of the many beautiful flowers in our catalogs.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

Now, for today’s card, my favorite, Springtime Joy bunny. She was stamped in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. Bunny wanted her head piece to stand out, so I fussy cut a second one. Prior to attaching it with a tiny strip of Dimensional, I colored it with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green.
Bunny’s background is Fine Art Floral Designer Paper, cut with the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die, and glued to a Blushing Bride card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Easter Bunny
Next, I stamped “Wishing you the blessings of …,” and “Easter,” in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with two Stitched Rectangles Dies.

The smallest Stitched Rectangles Die was longer than I wanted for the word “Easter,” so I’ll show you how I shortened it, below. A picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Bunny’s eggs were made with a Birds & More Die and three colors of cardstock: So Saffron, Blushing Bride, and Basic White. Bunny is quite proud of her collection of eggs.

I was inspired by Fusion.
