The Bee Mine Suite includes the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, Bee Mine 12″ X 12″ DSP, Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers, Bee Builder Punch, Bordered Ribbon, and 10 Square Pillow Boxes.
This is my second sneak peek using this fun suite. I began with a Lemon Lolly card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, followed by layers of Bee Mine Designer Paper. First is Petal Pink, honeycomb, 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, layered with a bee pattern, 1/8″ smaller. Second is Petal Pink honeycomb, 2 3/4″ X 3 1/2″, layered with a yellow plaid, 1/8″ smaller. The top layer is Petal Pink honeycomb, 3 1/2″ X 3/4″ and Basic White Cardstock 2/ 3/4″ X 3/4″, both flagged on the end.
Be Mine Suite
The darling bee was easy to create with the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and Bee Builder Punch. I stamped the body in Lemon Lolly Ink on Basic White Cardstock, followed by the stripes and antennae in Memento Black Ink, and the wings in Petal Pink Ink. Then, I used the punch for cutting, glued her wings and antennae, and attached her with Dimensionals. Her cheeks are Real Red, Stampin’ Blend dots.
Before gluing, I stamped “bee mine” on the top layer, and I added two hearts that come in the suite. The last detail was the bee “trail,” a stamp in the Be My Valentine Stamp Set.

For today’s project, I used the Crafting With You Bundle to make a Christmas card. I just love the versatility of this set; not to mention the adorable, miniature scissors!
First, I cut the embroidery hoop, spools, and thread, from One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper, and the center of the hoop from Basic White Cardstock. The scissors were cut from Silver Foil Cardstock and Basic Black Cardstock.
Embroidered Stockings
Beneath the hoop is One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper, cut with two Stylish Shapes squares. They were attached with Dimensionals to Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die, and embossed with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder.

I cut the stockings from three colors of One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper: brown, red, and green. Then, I snipped two red stockings, and two green stockings, and glued them on top of the brown.
Next, I searched for a small sentiment, and found “Merry Christmas” in the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set. I stamped it in Real Red Ink before gluing the stockings in place.
Everyone needs tiny, “embroidered stockings, don’t you think? They are one of the 21 dies in the Saint Nicholas Die Set, which you shouldn’t overlook. This set is full of surprises!

Before I show you today’s card, I want you to see my inspiration. Isn’t it interesting?
I created an owl with the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set, stamping him in Night Of Navy Ink on Winter Meadow Designer Paper. Don’t you think the glasses make him look wise? I also stamped the books, used Paper Snips for fussy cutting, and added a little color with a Boho Blue Stampin’ Blend.
“WOO-HOO!”
The background was created with Winter Meadow Designer Paper, 3 3/8″ X 4 7/8″, glued to Gold Foil Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″, glued to a Smoky Slate card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I used Labels Aglow Dies to cut the stars at the top, and the circle by the owl.
“Woo-hoo!” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in VersaMark, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder, and set with a Heat Tool.
After gluing the owl, books, and circle together, I attached them with Dimensionals, and my card was complete.

Today’s card uses the same products as yesterday’s, with the exception of one die set, Patchwork Pieces. This unusual die was first used to cut Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. I placed the die in the center of the cardstock, and rolled it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. This gave me the frame and two white, patchwork pieces.
Patchwork Pieces
I used the die to make two more cuts from Hello Irresistible Designer Paper; one from Lost lagoon and one from Petal Pink. Then, I glued the six pieces inside the frame, as shown.
Next, I stamped “The Lord is my shepherd,” from the Night Divine Stamp Set, in Pretty Peacock Ink. Then, using Night Divine Dies. I cut the shepherd from Pretty Peacock Cardstock, and the sheep from Thick Basic White Cardstock. I glued them in place, and my second sympathy card was complete.

When I saw this week’s Global Design Project colors, I thought of Hello Irresistible Designer Paper, because it blends these colors beautifully.
I chose the Night Divine Bundle to combine with this pretty designer paper. The bundle was designed for Christmas cards, but it can easily be adapted to sympathy cards.
The Lord is my Shepherd
I began by cutting 1/2″ strips of the designer paper (two in Petal Pink, and five in Lost Lagoon), and gluing them to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″. After gluing the strips 1/16″ apart, I used the largest Countryside Corners Die for cutting. Then, I glued my die-cut to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I cut the nativity, using a Night Divine Die, from Pretty Peacock cardstock. After snipping the shepherd free from the scene, I attached him to the card with Dimensionals. The sheep were cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and attached with Dimensionals.
“The Lord is my shepherd” is from the Night Divine Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pretty Peacock Ink, cut with the second smallest Countryside Corners Die, and attached with Dimensionals.
While I was designing this card, another idea popped into my head, which I will post tomorrow.

The Traditions Of St. Nick Designer Paper has the cutest gingerbread men that can be fussy cut. They wanted me to give them names, so I said, “you are Gin, Ger, and Bread.” I don’t think they liked their names, but were satisfied to be featured on a card. Then, they started chanting, “we want scalloping, we want scalloping!” So, I cut Basic White Cardstock with a Scalloped Contours Die, 3 3/4″ X 2 1/2″, and they hopped on, held securely with Dimensionals.
Gingerbread Men
For more scalloping, I used a size larger, Scalloped Contours Die, to cut Crumb Cake Cardstock. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, embossed with a 3D Basics Embossing Folder, available in Online Exclusives.
Prior to attaching the top layer, I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink. “May the Christmas season fill your home” is from the Saint Nicholas Stamp Set.
Gen, Ger, and Bread, asked me to add candy canes, and dots of sugar, which I thought was a good idea. They also pointed out that I could have as many gingerbread men as I wanted, because the Saint Nicholas Bundle has a stamp and a die for cutting.
