I created a card last week, using the Lovely Arrangements Die in a circle, which you can see below. If you click on the picture, it will take you to my original blog post. For today’s card, I used the die to fill an Endless Love heart.

Lovely Arrangements Heart
First, I used the Lovely Arrangements Die to cut Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper, two times. Then, I glued the die-cuts together on Crumb Cake Cardstock, and used the large, Endless Love Die for cutting. The background is another pattern of Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper, 3 5/8 X 4 7/8″, backed with Very Vanilla Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″. This was attached with Dimensionals to a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Because” is from Words Of Beauty, cut from Brushed with Beauty DSP, and backed with Crumb Cake Cardstock. After gluing the two together, I attached it to the heart with Dimensionals. To complete the sentiment, I stamped “you make my heart smile,” from the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set, in early Espresso Ink on Brushed with Beauty DSP. After stamping, I used a Words of Beauty Die for cutting, layered it for thickness, and attached it with Dimensionals.

Here is my card with Lovely Arrangements in a circle.

Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along. This month’s fun fold is showing off Cute As A Bug Designer Paper and Sweet Bugs Dies. I really like this fun fold design, because it has a “wow” factor, but it’s very easy!

Cute As A Bug Fun Fold
I began with a card base of Mossy Meadow, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.

After cutting and folding, I glued Sweet As A Bug Designer Paper to the front of the card base: 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″ and 5 1/4″ X 1″. Then, I glued a different pattern of Cute As A Bug Designer Paper to the front of the top piece, 2/3/4″ X 4″. When gluing the top piece to the card base, I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I also added Basic White Cardstock to the inside, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, for a personal message.

“You make my heart buzz” is from the Be Mine Stamp Set, stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used an Endless Love Die for cutting the heart. The flowers and bee were cut from Cute As A Bug DSP with Sweet Bugs Dies, and all were attached with Dimensionals. I like the way the flowers fit the shape of the heart. For extra pizazz, I added three Ladybug Epoxy Shapes. Can you find the third one, hidden on a leaf?

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE the talented, Marga Bultena. We’d love to see what you create, so please share it on social media, and tag it #gdp532.

I loved everything about Marga’s card, so it was fun to CASE. I used the same Cloud Cover card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, which I layered with Cloud Cover cardstock, cut with the largest Branching Out Die. After cutting, I embossed it with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder, and attached it to the card base with Dimensionals.

Beautiful Motifs
Next, I used a Stylish Shapes Die to cut a circle from Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Beautiful Motifs Die to cut a branch from the circle. This is an unusual die, because it’s only a partial cut.

After gluing the white cutout circle to the plaid layer, I used two more Beautiful Motifs Dies to cut foliage from Lost Lagoon Cardstock and Highland Heather Cardstock, and glued them in place.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Lost Lagoon Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Lovely Arrangements Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Three, Iridescent Pearls were added as a final touch.

Today’s card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

I began by cutting Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and pressing a section of Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to it. After making sure there were no wrinkles, I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine with two, Endless Love, heart dies.

Washi Tape Hearts
The background is Pretty In Pink Cardstock, cut with the third largest Branching Out Die. This is attached with Dimensionals to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which I embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. The card base is Strawberry Slush, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Today & Always” is from the Endless Love Stamp Set. I stamped it in Strawberry Slush Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used an Endless Love Die for cutting. After attaching the sentiment label with Dimensionals, I completed the design with Strawberry Slush Gems.

I missed out on a fabulous Paper Pumpkin, named Farmhouse Florals, a few months ago. But, I was able to order the refill, and so glad I did! You can click on the picture in my Product List below to see if it’s still available. Today’s card is an alternative, using the fabulous straw bag.

Farmhouse Florals
I began with the largest, Everyday Arches Die to cut the card base from Thick Basic White Cardstock. I placed the folded cardstock (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″) on the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, along with Floral Delight Designer Paper, as close to the left, folded edge, as possible. After cutting, I used the fourth largest Everyday Arches Die to cut the center from the designer paper, and glued the arched frame to the card base.

Next, I cut sunflowers from Floral Impressions Designer Paper, and arranged them with the tote. The leaves were cut from Floral Delight Designer Paper, with a Lovely Arrangements Die, and glued in place. This designer papers have retired, but if you don’t have them, I know you have other paper to use. Right?
The sentiment, “just a note,” is from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink, used a Lovely Arrangements Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. The Paper Pumpkin Kit included handles for the bag, so I attached this cute detail to the bag with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I attached three Neutral Matte Dots beneath the sentiment label.
