The wreath on today’s card was simply cut from the Dainty Flowers Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″. Isn’t it amazing?
To frame the wreath, I used a Fabulous Frames Die to cut photo corners from a green section of the Dainty Flowers Designer Paper. The card base is Soft Succulent Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Faith over fear” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink on the designer paper, and cut with its Sentiments Silhouettes Die. The sentiment and photo corners were layered for thickness.

Happy New Year!!! I wish you all many blessings in 2023. I’m always excited for the beginning of a new year, and it was fun designing this card to celebrate, along with the other Global Design Project Designers. We’d love for you to create a party themed card, and share it in our gallery.
Our 2022-2024 In Colors seemed like the perfect colors for my “party” card, and I began with a Starry Sky card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I topped it with a pattern of Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
Next, I used our new Alphabet Dies (available January 5) to cut the word, “PARTY!” from 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper in Starry Sky, 3 1/4″ X 1 1/4″. Before running the letters through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I attached the Glimmer Paper to a Foam Adhesive Sheet to give the letters dimension. The only difficulty was keeping track of the exclamation dot, because it’s tiny.
Happy New Year!
Once the letters were attached, I used a Brushed Shapes Die to cut the squiggle from the same Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper. Two additional squiggles were cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock to glue together for thickness.
The small, round shape was also cut with a Brushed Shapes Die in the five In Colors of cardstock: Starry Sky, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, Sweet Sorbet, and Tahitian Tide. I attached them to the card front with tiny pieces of Dimensionals, cut from the edge of the sheet.
To complete my card, I cut “2023” from Starry Sky Cardstock, using a Warm Welcome Die. The horizontal rows in the designer paper assisted in keeping my letters and numbers evenly placed.

Happy New Year!!! For the first day in 2023, “let’s celebrate” with the Splendid Day Suite. It was an early release that was published in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog, and now it is retiring. It can only be ordered until January 4, 2023. The Splendid Stems Dies, Splendid Day Designer Paper, and Soft Sea Foam Ribbon are all on sale, and you’ll see the reduced prices when clicking on the pictures in my Product List below.
I began by using Splendid Stems Dies to cut “stems” from Thick Basic White Cardstock and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. And, we can’t forget about the darling bee that was heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
Splendid Day
For the background, I used Splendid Thoughts stamps with Fresh Freesia Ink and Pear Pizzazz Ink to stamp on Splendid Day Designer Paper.
The card base is Soft Sea Foam, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die. The Splendid Day Designer Paper was cut with the second largest Deckled Rectangles Die.
The sentiment is from the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the same designer paper. After stamping “let’s celebrate,” I made two cuts with the smallest Deckled Rectangles Die, and attached it with Dimensionals.
To complete my card, I added a bow of Soft Sea Foam Ribbon, and three Iridescent Pearls.

It was hard to give this card a title, because it’s a combination of current, retiring and upcoming products. What I want to emphasize is the background, created with a Candy Canes Die. This die set is retiring at a reduced price of $28.00, and the last time I checked, the Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Set was available also.
For today’s card, I used this large die to cut a pattern of Fancy Flora Designer Paper, and glued it to a Thick Basic White card base.
Hearts and Stripes
Next, I used the Country Bouquet Punch to cut three hearts from coordinating colors: Balmy Blue, Orchid Oasis, and Highland Heather.
After punching the hearts, I gave them texture with the Hive Embossing Folder, and attached them with Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “Just wanted to say…” is from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set. It’s great, because you could say anything, right? I stamped it in Orchid Oasis Ink, used the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
The Country Bouquet Stamp Set, Punch, and Fancy Flora Designer Paper are all upcoming products, available January 5, 2023. It won’t be long now!

Today’s card is another “special order” for a customer who needs welcome cards for her beach house. The Seaside Bay Bundle is wonderful for this beach theme welcome, and will be available January 5, 2023. In the meantime, the Warm Welcome Stamp Set can be ordered now!
Seaside Welcome
I began with a Mint Macaron card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with By The Bay Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″.
Next, I used a Seaside Bay Die to cut a wavy strip, from the same paper, to create dimension along the bottom of the card. Then, I used two Seaside Bay Dies to cut grass, which I glued to the back of the wavy strip.
Prior to attaching the strip with Dimensionals, I stamped the birds, sand, and seashells in Early Espresso Ink.
Early Espresso Ink was also used for stamping the sentiment, and the smallest Deckled Rectangles Die was used for cutting. By making two cuts with the die, I was able to create labels the exact size for the words.
“Welcome” and “to my home” are from the Warm Welcome Stamp Set, perfect for this card.
The final touch was the addition of Sea Glass, always a fun find along the shore.
