Today’s holiday card was created with five great products from the Seasonal Sale, which are the first five items in my Product List below. You’ll see the sale price when you click on the picture.
The Majestic Mountain Die Set (SALE) has a fabulous tree for the holidays, and the first thing I did was cut this tree from Silver Foil.
Mountain Air Holiday Card
Next, I created the tree’s background by stamping a forest of trees in Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White Cardstock. This row of trees is from the Mountain Air Stamp Set (SALE). After stamping I used the third largest Deckled Rectangles Die (SALE) for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals. Beneath this layer is a pattern of Painted Christmas Designer Paper (SALE), cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die (SALE).
The patterned paper is glued to a Soft Succulent card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment is from the Sweet Candy Cane Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink, and cut with a Sending Die (SALE). This die is perfect for long, skinny sentiments.
After attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, I added three, tiny, silver, For Everything Fancy Sequins, and my Mountain Air holiday card was complete.

I began with the largest Layering Circle Dies, cutting Soft Succulent Cardstock with the scalloped edge circle, and Painted Christmas Designer Paper with the plain edge circle.
4 Seasonal Sale Products
Next, I used a Decorated Pine Die to cut the pine bough from a Copper Foil Sheet.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5″, embossed with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White Cardstock, cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die, and attached with Dimensionals. “From our home to yours,” is from the Leaves Of Holly Stamp Set.
Tucked under the sentiment label are two, Jingle Bell Trinkets. They are metal, flat, and attached with Glue Dots. Aren’t they cute?

The Kindest Gnomes were out running around today, and I grabbed one for today’s card. He was stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with his Gnomes Die. Then, I colored him with Stampin’ Blends in three colors: Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake, and Mossy Meadow. And, I darkened his eyes with Basic Black.
Warm Wishes
He said it was chilly outside, and wanted to warm himself by sitting on the edge of a teacup, filled with hot tea. The cup is from the Cup Of Tea Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with a Teacup Die.
The background is a Sahara Sand card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. The horizontal strip is Painted Christmas Designer Paper, 5 1/2″ X 1″, glued in place.
The gnome requested the sentiment be something about warmth, and we found “warm wishes” in the Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set. I stamped it in Evening Evergreen Ink on Sahara Sand Cardstock, and used a Sending Die for cutting. As I was attaching the gnome and his teacup with Dimensionals, I decided to thread the sentiment through the handle of the cup. The gnome thought this was a fine idea, as long as I didn’t make him move. Mission accomplished!

The main ingredients for today’s card are included in the sale, and you’ll find them in my Product List below. The sale prices will be seen as you enter the products.
I began by using a large, Christmas Pinecone Die to cut Sun Prints Designer Paper, both in the sale! See how the Sun Prints Designer Paper gives the pine boughs variation in the pretty, Starry Sky, color?
Christmas Pinecones
Next, I cut eight pinecones from Silver Foil Sheets. After the die-cutting, I glued the pieces to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “Peace on Earth,” is from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set, stamped in Starry Sky Ink, and cut with the Double Oval Punch. And, guess what……this punch is on sale!
After attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, the final touch was adding a few Iridescent Rhinestones.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, and since one color was Balmy Blue, I wanted to use the beautiful, Balmy Blue, Fitting Florets Designer Paper. So, that led to using other elements in the Fitting Florets Collection.
Special Florets
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, with a layer of the Balmy Blue, Fitting Florets Designer Paper, cut with the second largest, Deckled Rectangles Die. The top layer is Basic White Cardstock, colored with Balmy Blue Ink, applied with a Blending Brush, and cut with the third largest Deckled Rectangles Die. Both layers were attached with Dimensionals for added interest.
The flowers are from the Framed Florets Stamp Set, stamped in Pumpkin Pie Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with their Framed Florets Dies. I added some color to the larger flowers with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend, and attached the flowers with Dimensionals. I also cut several leaves from Basic White cardstock, and glued them in place.
The sentiment, For a special person on a special day,” is from the Framed Florets Stamp Set, stamped in Night Of Navy Ink. As a final touch, I added three Iridescent Pearls.

The Happy Forest Friends decided they wanted to make a Thanksgiving card, with each animal being featured. A fun fold card, the “Triple Foldout” was the answer!
Triple Foldout Card
I began by cutting Crumb Cake Cardstock 4 1/4″ X 11″. Then, I scored it four times: 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4″, and 8 1/4″. After folding and burnishing the folds, I prepared the panels.
There are two squares of Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 4″ X 4″, topped with Happy Forest Friends Designer Paper, 3 7/8″ X 3 7/8″, and a third panel of designer paper, 2 1/4″ X 4″, which is glued flat. The first two panels are glued to the Crumb Cake card base with an overlap, so take care not to glue the entire panel.
Now, the fun part of decorating, and letting the animals, from the Happier Than Happy Stamp Set, choose their spot. I stamped the fox in Cajun Craze Ink, and he earned the front location, because he fit nicely with the sentiment.
“Happy Thanksgiving” is from the Painted Pheasant Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink, and cut with a Scalloped Contours Die. The holes were begging to be woven with Linen Thread, and the owl was fussy cut from the designer paper. I also added trees cut with a Happy Forest Die from Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
The next panel features the bear, stamped in Early Espresso Ink, and cut with his die. The little bird was fussy cut from the designer paper, and both were attached with Dimensionals.
The final panel features the owl, stamped in Gray Granite Ink, and cut with her die. She is perched on a tree stump, stamped in Soft Suede Ink, and cut with its die. She asked for a Mossy Meadow die-cut tree in her background.
This Triple Foldout Card is fun to make, and believe it or not, it fits in our regular medium envelope (if you don’t go too crazy with embellishment).
