Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the Pals have been busy creating cozy, frosty, whimsical card ideas and paper crafts for our Winter Wonderland theme, using our favorite Stampin’ Up! goodies. Each project brings a different twist, and if you’re looking for inspiration, this hop is for you!
I began my Winter card by stamping Delicate Pines snowflakes in Balmy Blue Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used their dies for cutting. A three-piece snowflake was layered, with Dimensionals, on the card front, and a two-piece snowflake was glued flat, on the inside.

Snowflake Flap Fold
The “Flap Fold” with created with Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, scored at 3″. For the background, I used the “smooshing” technique. This was done by stamping a Balmy Blue Ink pad on the Stampin’ Glass Mat. Then, I spritzed the ink with water, and dabbed Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″ in the watered ink. After letting it dry, under the weight of a large Acrylic Block, I cut two pieces with the fourth largest Textured Notes Die. One was glued to the front flap, and one on the exposed “inside.”

Next, I cut leaves and pinecones from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Paper. I layered the leaves for thickness, and glued them in place, prior to attaching the snowflakes. Then, the pinecones were tucked in place.

I used the same Textured Notes Die to cut a third piece from Basic White Cardstock for the inside. I was careful to match the “inside” snowflake to the “front” snowflake while gluing, so it is hidden when the card is closed.

The sentiment, “warmest Winter wishes,” is from the Delicate Pines Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pretty Peacock Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used the smallest Textured Notes Die for cutting, and glued it in place. After adding some Traditional Sparkling Sequins, my card was complete.

Keep the inspiration going! Follow the lineup below to hop through each blog and enjoy every beautifully frosty idea.
And stick around — next month we’re creating for the “Something New” theme, and you won’t want to miss it!

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge, and I’m excited to give you another sneak peek from the January-April 2026 Mini Catalog. You can’t have too many hearts, and the Endless Love Bundle is fantastic! I began using an Endless Love Die to cut three hearts from Love Notes Mix & Match Designer Paper. This paper is so cute! After layering the hearts with cardstock for thickness, I placed them on Dimensionals.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, given texture with the Eyelet Embossing Folder. This layer was glued to a Real Red card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Three Striped Hearts
Next, I used two Endless Love Dies to cut arrows and the sentiment label from Basic White Cardstock. “Hugs & kisses” is from the Endless Love Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink. Before attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, I cut an arrow in half, and glued it so it looks like it’s piercing the heart.

Here is this week’s inspiring sketch challenge. See how our design team used the sketch. Then, we’d love to see your creation when you post it on social media. Be sure to tag it #gdp526.

Today’s card is a sneak peek of Fragrant Layers, a wonderful Online Exclusive. I began with its unique, 2 1/4″ X 3 1/4″ die, to cut the center from Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.

Fragrant Layers sneak peek
Next, I used Fragrant Layers Dies to cut Coastal Cabana Cardstock. and Granny Apple Green Cardstock, and glued the leaves and floral outline to the back of the Basic White “cut-out.” Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing the layer, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “Just a note” is from the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set.

The last, and very important detail, was adding the adorable ladybugs. The Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes are a new embellishment in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini Catalog. All of the new products will be available January 6th.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Have you ever seen a pink grasshopper? Well, now you have! This is one of the few bugs that has to be fussy cut from the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper. The grasshopper’s background was cut from Basic White Cardstock, and a darling, floral, pattern of Cute As A Bug Designer Paper. I cut the paper using another sneak peek, Beautifully Decorated Dies; the second and third smallest dies. You’ll definitely want this framing die set!

Pink Grasshopper
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/2″, embossed with a new Embossing Folder, named Lovely Stripes. Isn’t it great? This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2′ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Here’s another sneak peek from an Online Exclusive. This label die is wonderful, and part of a Bundle named Fragrant Layers. The label cuts in two pieces, so I created a frame using the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper. “Happy Birthday” is from the current set, Words of Beauty. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and glued it inside the frame. After attaching the grasshopper with Dimensionals, I added five, clear, Epoxy Dots to the petals. This is another sneak peek, and part of the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes.

Click the card I posted on Wednesday for additional “sneak peek” details.

This is my first “play” with the new January-April Mini Catalog products.

Caterpillar Friends
Whether you like bugs, or not, you’re going to love the Cute As A Bug Suite Collection, pp. 42-45. Demonstrators get to pre-order now, and it will be available for customers, January 6th. If you would like to become a Demonstrator to order now, contact me: [email protected].

Because of my curiosity, the first thing I did was match the Sweet Bug Dies to the Cute As A Bug Designer Paper.

Here is a full sheet that goes with the dies. There are just a few bugs that need to be fussy cut.

There is also a sheet with 9 designs to be cut apart.

I used a 6″X 4″ piece (lower right corner), and the largest, Textured Notes Die for cutting. Then, I adhered two strips of Tear & Tape to attach two pieces of Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim. After fastening to the back of the designer paper, I glued it to a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used Dimensionals to attach the two, adorable, caterpillars. “You’re a great friend” is from the Words of Beauty Stamp Set. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Words of Beauty Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. For extra bling, I added three Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
