Geraniums grow like crazy in Southern California, and I was excited to see the geraniums in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
The first thing I did was cut the leaves and stems using a Geraniums Die, from Awash In Beauty Designer Paper, in Granny Apple Green. I used a second die to cut the backing for the leaves from Garden Green Cardstock. The flowers work the same way, and I used Awash In Beauty DSP in Blushing Bride, backed with Polished Pink Cardstock.
Geranium Prayers
The circle was cut with a Stylish Shapes Die, from Awash In Beauty DSP, in a Balmy Blue pattern. I used the largest Stitched Rectangles Die to cut the Blushing Bride plaid, also from Awash In Beauty DSP. A second cut was made to make the rectangle 5 1/4″ X 1 1/4″.
For the background, I embossed the front of the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.
The sentiment is from the Hope & Prayer Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock. After using a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting “you are in my prayers,” I glued it to the back of the circle, and attached both with Dimensionals.
My card is now ready to send someone encouraging words.

My three top picks from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog arrived yesterday, and I couldn’t wait to put them to use! You’ll see them combined on today’s card, and you can see details of the items by clicking on the pictures in my Product List below.
When I first looked at the new catalog, the Awash In Beauty Suite took my breath away. From the True Beauty, watercolored flowers and leaves to the gorgeous, Awash In Beauty Designer Paper, Organic Beauty Dies, and Iridescent Pearls; I had to have it all!
3 Top Picks
The flowers would be pretty in any color, but I chose Fresh Freesia with Night Of Navy centers for today’s flowers. Then, I stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green, and used the Organic Beauty Dies for cutting.
The trellis was cut with another Organic Beauty Die, which you can see in the first photo. The Granny Apple Green trellis is actually the back side of Awash In Beauty Designer Paper I used for a card I’ll be posting in the future.
I glued the trellis to Basic White Cardstock that was cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die, my second favorite product in the catalog. What’s deckled? Here’s the definition: “having a rough edge; used of handmade paper or paper resembling handmade.” This torn edge “look” is perfect for neat freaks, like myself, and it comes in a number of sizes.
To go along with the Deckled Rectangles Dies is a bundle named Charming Sentiments, my third favorite product. It’s a wonderful set of sentiments with Sentiment Silhouettes Dies that cut the sentiments as if they were cut by hand. Don’t you love the look?
“Wishing you everything wonderful” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in Night Of Navy Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
It’s much easier to get precision cutting with cutting plates that are flat, so I opened a new set of cutting plates. I thought it was appropriate to have my favorite dies make the first marks on the plates. LOL!
After gluing and attaching everything, I added three Iridescent Pearls. So pretty, you’ll love them!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is New 2022-2024 In Colors. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
To show off the new 2022-2024 In Colors, I chose a new bundle, Bottled Happiness. This bundle is especially fun for those who like punches, because it comes with the Vintage Bottle Punch. You can see the entire bundle in my Product List below.
I began by coloring with 2022-2024 In Color Stampin’ Blends on Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. The leaves were colored in Parakeet Party, and the flowers were colored in Sweet Sorbet.
Vellum Bottles
Next, I used the Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blend to color the three bottles, which I punched from Vellum Cardstock with the Vintage Bottle Punch. I used three methods for attaching the see-through, Vellum bottles. The middle bottle was attached with smeared glue, the bottle on the right has two layers which hides the Dimensionals, and the one on the left has a label with Dimensionals beneath.
“Let’s get into the spirit” is from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink and cut with a Sending Die. The Sending Dies are from another new bundle, Sending Smiles, which will be getting lots of use!
After attaching the sentiment to the card front, and my art piece to the Starry Sky card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), my card was complete.

This week’s Global Design Project is a fun sketch. Take a look at how our designers used the sketch, then create your design to hang in our gallery.
I began by cutting four strips from the new, Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper, 3/8″ X 5 1/4″. After gluing the strips to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, I embossed the layer with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.
This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Stripes and Flowers
Next, I cut four flowers with leaves from Hues Of Happiness Designer Paper. This fabulous paper has many flowers, and some have dies for cutting, but I cut these with my Paper Snips. One flower is glued flat, and three are attached with Dimensionals.
“Best Wishes” is from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set, stamped in Stazon Black Ink, and cut with a Stylish Shapes Die. Don’t you love the font?
After attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, my design was complete.

First of all, Happy Mother’s Day, and I hope you receive lots of pretty cards!
Welcome to our May Stamping Sunday Blog Hop, where we’re showing projects highlighting the new, 2022-2024 In Colors. You’ll find the line-up below to see what the other designers created.
I designed two cards using the five, new, In Colors, with the new, Sending Smiles Bundle. If you click on the photos in my Product List, it will take you to details about the new products.
Sending Smiles with 2022-2024 In Colors
The birthday card has a background of Tahitian Tide Ink, smoothed on Basic White Cardstock with a Blending Brush. I layered it on Starry Sky 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″. It just peeks out from the top layer, which is cut 1/8″ smaller, giving it a 1/16″ border.
Once I had my blue background, I stamped the leaves and stems from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set in Parakeet Party Ink. Then, I stamped one flower in Orchid Oasis, and one in Sweet Sorbet, followed by the centers in Parakeet Party Ink. “Birthday Wishes” was stamped in Starry Sky Ink, cut with a Sending Smiles label die, and attached with Dimensionals.
The small blossoms were cut from Basic White Cardstock with a Sending Die, and glued with tiny dots of Liquid Glue. My art piece was attached, with Dimensionals, to an Orchid Oasis card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my first card was complete.
The “hugs” card began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Basic White Cardstock, 4′ X 5 1/4″. Prior to gluing the layer, I gave it texture with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. This happens to be my Host Code gift for the month of May, and you can see how to receive it below.
Next, I stamped the leaves and stems in Parakeet Party Ink, and the flowers in Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet, and Starry Sky. Then, I used Sending Dies for cutting, glued the leaves and stems flat, and attached the flowers with Dimensionals.
How about the large,”sending?” Now you know how the bundle got its name! I stamped it in Orchid Oasis Ink, used its die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
“Love & big hugs was also stamped in Orchid Oasis, cut with its die, and attached with Dimensionals. This fun set has many phrases that go with “sending.”

I’m delighted to see that the Honeybee Home Stamp Set is carrying over to the new catalog. If you like bees on a card, this set is for you!
Honeybee Home
I began with a Smoky Slate card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Fresh Freesia Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die. The next layer is Heart & Home Designer Paper, cut with the second largest Scalloped Contours Die.
Next, I used Honeybee Blooms Dies to cut the flowers from three colors of cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Mint Macaron, and Soft Sea Foam. Then, I stamped one bee on Basic White Cardstock, and two bees on the Heart & Home Designer Paper, using Memento Black Ink. I used a Honeybee Bloom Die to cut one bee from the Basic White Cardstock, and glued her to the sentiment.
“Miss you” is from the Honeybee Home Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Heart & Home Designer Paper. Then, I used the smallest Scalloped Contours Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
For a final touch, I added some Faux Sea Glass Shapes. I’m thinking rock garden with Sea Glass. You can see all of my supplies in the Product List below.
