This week’s Global Design Project is a theme challenge… flowers! There are so many from which to choose, I landed on a favorite set, Quiet Meadow, that is carrying over to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I should point out that the stamp set is available in a bundle with the dies, for a 10% savings, until May 3rd when the new catalog goes live. At that time, the stamp set and dies will be offered separately.

Watercolored Blooms
The blooms on today’s card evolved without a definite plan ahead of time. I began by stamping the Quiet Meadow flower in five colors of ink on Basic White Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Pale Papaya, and Polished Pink. Then, I used Paper Snips for cutting, and quickly passed them through running water. After letting them dry, I embossed them with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and curled them with my fingers.
Next, I added Artistry Blooms Sequins to the centers, and Dimensionals for attaching to the card front. The sequins are retiring, at regular price, and the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder is retiring, on sale for $7.20.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4 ” X 5 1/2″, embossed with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. This folder is also retiring, and on sale for $5.40.
I glued this layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Last, but not least, the sentiment. The words, “amazing” and “you” and from the Amazing Thanks Die Set, cut from Rainbow Glimmer Paper, with the backing from Thick Basic White Cardstock. After gluing them together, I attached the words with Mini Dimensionals.
The Rainbow Glimmer Paper is retiring, and on sale for $4.80.
I’m informing you to the best of my ability, and apologize if the sale items are no longer available by the time you see my blog post.

First of all, Happy Easter! I hope you all have an enjoyable day, filled with love and hope.
Today’s card was created with the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set and Meadow Dies. The stamp set and dies are carrying over to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, but please note, when the new catalog goes live May 3, they will be offered separately. If you love it, get the stamp set and dies in a bundle now, for a 10% savings. Click on the picture in my Product List below to order.
I began by stamping the flower from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set in three colors of ink on Basic White Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, and Petal Pink.

“Thing of Beauty”
Next, I used my Paper Snips to cut the flowers, and curved them with my fingers before attaching with Dimensionals.

The greenery was cut with a Meadow Die from Expressions In Ink Designer Paper, and glued to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4 “.
Prior to gluing the white layer to a Pear Pizzazz card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is retiring, a Last Chance item, on sale for $7.20.

“Our friendship is a thing of beauty” is from the Waves Of Inspiration Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Thick basic White Cardstock. I used the Messages Die for cutting the extra long sentiment, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals. This die is also retiring, and on sale for $27.20.
To complete my card, I added a black & white strip, 5 1/4″ x 1/8″, beneath the sentiment, along with three Basic Matte Dots in white.
Come back tomorrow to see another card created with the Quiet Meadow Bundle. Yes, it is a favorite!

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

The Dandy Wishes Die Set is retiring, and on sale now for $17.50. Don’t miss out, because the “Last Chance” sale ends May 2nd. You can see the entire list of “Last Chance” items by clicking on the banner below.

Stylized Flower Bouquet
The Dandy Wishes, stylized flower, is fun in all colors and patterns. For today’s card I used a plaid pattern of 6″X 6″ Designer Paper in three colors: Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Polished Pink. This designer paper is also retiring, and on sale for $6.90.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Layers Die. If you follow my blog, you know I use this set all the time, and it’s on sale for $29.60.
Next, I stamped “Thank you” from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink. Don’t you like the font with the stylized flowers?
After stamping the sentiment, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I attached the flowers with Dimensionals, and glued the stems, adding a bow of black & white twine where the stems intersected. The twine is Playful Pets Trim, another retiring item, and on sale for $6.00.

Finally, I completed the inside, because I HAD to show you the adorable bee! I stamped the bee in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Dandy Wishes Die for cutting. This set also comes with the bee “trail,” and isn’t it fantastic?
I used Daffodil Delight 6″ X 6″ plaid DSP (4″ X 5 1/4″) beneath the Basic White layer (3 3/4″ X 5″), and Polished Pink for the envelope flap.
To decorate the flap, I cut the designer paper 5 3/4″ X 2 1/2″, added glue to the flap, attached the designer paper, and trimmed the excess with scissors, using the flap as a template.

I was inspired by the Paper Players.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Fabulous Flowers. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Flowing Flowers Stamp Set is a favorite from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. Today’s “clean & simple” card was easy to create with Sponge Daubers and a Stamparatus. If you aren’t familiar with the Stamparatus, click on its picture in my Product List below.

Flowing Flowers
First, I placed Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, on the platform of the Stamparatus. Second, I attached the Flowing Flowers stamp on the lid and colored with Sponge Daubers and five colors of Ink. I started with the leaves and dots in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive, then the flower in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Polished Pink, in that order.
Third, I lowered the lid, pressing it to the paper, with each color, and repeated the process for the second flower. The Sponge Daubers can be rinsed clean with water, ready for new colors on your next project.

Next, I stamped “Just A Note,” from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used an Ornate Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. This fabulous die set is retiring soon, so order now, at a reduced price ($29.60), while it’s still available.
To make the flowers pop, I glued my art piece to a Basic Black card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my “clean & simple” card was complete.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on [second Wednesday]. Our theme will be New 2022-2024 In Colors, with the Pals showcasing the brand new In Colors in the new Annual Catalog.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge, and I chose one of my favorite retiring bundles, Sweet As A Peach, for a slimline design.
The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 7″, folded at 3 1/2″. The top layer is Basic White cardstock, 8″ X 3″, bordered with Polished Pink Cardstock, cut 1/8″ larger, giving a 1/16″ border.

Sweet As A Peach Slimline
First, I stamped the blossoms in Polished Pink Ink, “stamping off” to make them a lighter shade. The stamp has three, attached blossoms, which I stamped two times.
Second, I stamped the peaches in Pale Papaya and Petal Pink inks, using the Stamparatus to ensure the peaches had the saturation of color I wanted.
Third, I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz Ink, and used Peach Dies to cut the peaches and leaves. Then, I glued the leaves to the back of the peaches, and placed two peaches on Dimensionals, leaving one to glue flat.

Fourth, I used four, small, Peach Dies to cut blossoms from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and glued them in place with pin dots of glue.

Prior to gluing, and attaching, I stamped the sentiment, “sweet as a peach,” in Memento Black Ink. I also stamped “Hope your day is,” used a Peach Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
If you love peaches, be sure to order this bundle while it’s still available.

You can click on the sketch to see what our designers created. Hopefully you will be inspired, and hang your creation in our gallery.

Welcome to our Stampin Sunday Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Last Chance” products, because the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is going into retirement. Some products will carry over to the new, 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, but we will highlight some of those that will only be available as long as supplies last. They are selling quickly, so I hope the ones I’m highlighting are available when my post publishes.
Can you guess which seven products from this gift set are retiring? (They are the first seven items in my Product List below). I was most surprised about the Beautiful Trees Dies, because the coordinating, Beauty Of Friendship Stamp Set, is carrying over. You’ll want these dies!

Window and Tree
I always love windows on cards, and this six-paned frame was cut from Soft Succulent Cardstock. The shutters were cut from In Good Taste Designer Paper, along with those fabulous hinges from Basic Black Cardstock. The bird is a Beautiful Trees Die, cut from a pink spot on the Flowering Fields Designer Paper.
I layered everything on cardstock for thickness, glued the window flat, adding Mini Dimensionals to the outside edge of the shutters, and to the bird.

The background is Flowering Fields Designer Paper glued to a Soft Succulent card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “Your acts of kindness are like a breath of fresh air” is from the Garden Wishes Stamp Set.
The sentiment seemed appropriate, don’t you think, because this open window is letting in fresh air.

The Ombre Gift Bag is just one of five colors in the set. You can read the details about the bags by clicking on the picture in my Product List.
First, I used the largest Stitched With Whimsy Die to give it a fun, stitched border, without cutting a hole in the bag.
Second I used a Beautiful Trees Die to cut a tree from In Good Taste Designer Paper, and another die in the set to cut leaves from an Ombre Gift Bag in Evening Evergreen.
Before gluing the tree and leaves, I added “ground” by stamping Evening Evergreen dots, from the Daffodil Daydreams Stamp Set.
Finally, I stamped “thank you” from the Welcoming Window Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink on an Ombre Gift Bag. I used the Messages Die for cutting, backed it with cardstock, and attached it with a Dimensional.

Thank you for visiting today. Now, click on the names to see more “Last Chance” products.
