“Corner Fold” cards are easy to make, especially with Stampin’ Up’s beautiful, two-sided, designer paper. I simply cut a piece of Tidings Of Christmas Designer Paper (4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″) to fit the front of the Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″). Then, I folded back the right upper corner, exposing the red striped pattern on the back of the green and white forest.

Next, I wanted to see if one of the Stitched Triangles Dies fit the space, and there was one that fit perfectly! I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen Ink on the triangle, and glued it in the corner. “May the love of the season warm your home & fill your heart,” is from the Whimsical Trees Stamp Set.

The large tree was cut with one of the Whimsical Christmas Tree Dies from Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Then, I used the same die to cut a second tree from Be Dazzling, Sale-a-bration paper. This paper is one of the FREE items for a qualifying order. It was used to fill in the six spaces in the tree, and I have the other part of the tree to use on another card.

Leaves are so beautiful; they are perfect for cards, and the theme for this week’s Global Design Project.

Fall Leaves
I began my design with a Rich Razzleberry card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The next layer is a wonderful pattern of Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper, cut with the largest Stitched Rectangles Die.

The focal point is a leaf, cut from Cork Specialty Paper, using a Stitched Leaves Die, which you can see in the first photo. Next, I used a Stitched Rectangles Die (2 1/4″ X 3 1/2″) to cut a Basic White Cardstock rectangle. Then, I used the same leaf die to cut the stitched leaf outline.
The border was created with Brushed Metallic Cardstock, cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die, one size larger.
After gluing the layers together, I attached it with Dimensionals. I used three strips of left-over edges of Dimensionals. You know, the ones that pile up, but we can’t throw them away. LOL!

“Hello” is from the coordinating, Love Of Leaves Stamp Set, stamped in Rich Razzleberry Ink, and cut with a Stitched Leaves Die. Isn’t this leaf cute? I attached it with Dimensionals, and added a bow of gold, Simply Elegant Trim.

Our designers have lots of gorgeous leaf designs to share with you. I hope you are inspired, and will hang your creation in our gallery.

I’m also sharing with TGIF.

Peaches are delicious, this time of year, in San Diego. So, I’m taking a break from holiday cards to make a card with one of my favorite bundles from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, Sweet As A Peach. You can see the entire bundle in my Product List below.
I began by stamping the peaches from the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set in Petal Pink Ink. I used my Stamparatus, which enabled me to color the edge of the peaches with a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Marker. This was done by coloring the stamp with the marker, known as the “ink to stamp” technique. The branch was stamped in Pear Pizzazz Ink.

Delicious Peaches
After stamping my delicious fruit, I used Peach Dies to cut the fruit and branch, and placed them on Dimensionals. If you look closely, you can see there is a spot to attach the peach to the stem, and a slight point on the opposite side.

The background is a Thick Basic White card base with gingham from Pansy Petals Designer Paper. I used a Scalloped Contours Die to give it an interesting edge.

The two-part sentiment, “You’re as…sweet as a peach,” is from the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set. Cute, huh? It was stamped in Cinnamon Cider Ink, and cut with Ornate Frames Dies.
Now, I’m going to go eat a peach.

I was inspired by Fusion.

Fall is in the air, and it was fun creating this clean & simple card.
I began today’s card by using one of the Seasonal Swirls Dies to cut from Cork Specialty Paper. How I love this paper!

Fall wreath
Next, I used a Giving Gifts Die to cut from Expressions In Ink Designer Paper. This die cuts five leaves at the same time, plus it gives the leaves veins. Amazing! All I had to do was add Dimensionals, and attach.
You can see the entire set of dies in my Product List below. Yes, it’s the set with Santa Claus and his reindeer!

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder for some texture. This layer was glued to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “love,” is from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set, stamped in Cinnamon Cider Ink, and cut with its Meadow Die. The die comes with the hole, perfect for attaching the Linen Thread, and my clean & simple card was complete.

I was inspired by the Paper Players.

Today’s card was created with two of my favorite Sale-a-bration items: Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set and Summer Shadows Dies. If you look at the items in my Product List below, you’ll notice the price is $0.00. That’s because they are FREE with a $100.00 order! Don’t you love free stuff?
The first thing I did for this clean & simple, sympathy card, was cut five flowers from Vellum, using Summer Shadows Dies.

Dalias Sympathy
I just used two of the dies, but look at all the dies you get in the set!

Next, I decided on a background of a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with Expressions In Ink Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Before gluing the designer paper to the card base, I stamped “sending heartfelt sympathy,” from the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set, in Shaded Spruce Ink.
To avoid making a mistake on my pretty designer paper, I stamped the sentiment using the Stamparatus, a great positioning tool. It was also helpful that the Delicate Dahlia stamps are photopolymer, because you can see through them.

Lastly, I secured the large flower with Liquid Glue around the center, leaving the petals free. The four smaller flowers are on Mini Dimensionals, with strategically placed Artistry Blooms Sequins. Sneaky way to cover Dimensionals, huh?

I was inspired by TGIF.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate you!

Time is running out; Sale-a-bration is coming to a close on September 30.

Just for fun, I totaled the items in my Product List, and if you ordered everything, you would get BOTH Sale-a-bration items for FREE. Plus, you would have the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Stamparatus that every paper crafter needs!
P.S. Not to confuse you, but the two sets featured today are not meant to coordinate. The dies go with a set in the Annual Catalog, the Shaded Summer Stamp Set.

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch, which is always a fun challenge. Since I’ve been making Christmas cards, the three flowers in the sketch are poinsettias.

Noel Poinsettias
Here is the sketch. Please join in the fun, and add your creation to our gallery.

First, using a Blending Brush, I colored Basic White Cardstock with Real Red Ink. Second, I used a Detailed Poinsettia Die to cut the petals, and an embossing die to make the veins of the two larger poinsettias. The smaller poinsettia was cut and embossed with the same die. Two rounds of petals were cut for each poinsettia, and attached with Dimensionals.

For the middle of the sketch, I used an Ornate Layers Die to cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, and stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen Ink.
“Noel” is from the Tidings and Trimmings Stamp Set, which fit nicely between the poinsettias. Then, I glued the middle die-cut to green, striped, Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″. The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The final step was adding a touch of gold. The poinsettia centers are Metallic Pearls, and the sprig is Brushed Metallic Cardstock, cut with a Poinsettia Die.
