Welcome to Stamping Sunday! Today, we are excited to share with you projects highlighting NEW Sale-a-bration products! It’s fortunate for us that Stampin’ Up! decided to offer a second Sale-bration this year, because that means more FREE products with a qualifying order. I chose to show-off two of my favorites: the Summer Shadow Dies, and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper.
Summer Shadows
Let’s start with the one on the right, the simpler of the two. I named it “buttons and a bow.” It has a Rich Razzleberry card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and a layer of Crumb Cake Cardstock. This layer was originally 4″ X 5 1/4″, but I used a Scalloped Contours Die to cut the right side, making it narrower.
Prior to cutting, I used a floral stamp from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set to stamp Crumb Cake Ink, randomly, creating my own designer paper. I “stamped off” to make the pattern more subtle.
The “button” flowers were cut with a Summer Shadow Die from Regals 6X6″ Designer Paper. Aren’t they cute in Razzleberry plaid? The leaves were cut with another Summer Shadows Die from Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper, and the flowers and leaves were glued in place.
Lastly, “hello you” is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set, stamped in Rich Razzleberry Ink on Crumb Cake Cardstock, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. The, cute, little bow was created with a Giving Gifts Die and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This fabulous paper is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items, and I suggest ordering ASAP while it’s available.
The card on the left has a bit more detail, but still easy to replicate. The card base is Crumb Cake Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The first layer is Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die. The top layer is Painted Christmas Designer paper, cut with the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die.
The flowers and leaves were created with Summer Shadow Dies and Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper.
The center of the flower is Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. I placed a small piece of the precious paper beneath the center of the flower die when running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, careful not to waste it.
The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink on Painted Christmas Designer Paper. I used the smallest Scalloped Contours Die for cutting, and backed it with Crumb Cake Cardstock for sturdiness. Then, I strung it with Linen Thread, which I taped to the back, and attached with Dimensionals.

This is Snowball from the Snowman Season Stamp Set, which is not a new set, but a carry-over in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Snowball was quick to add that he is the cutest snowman EVER, and should be on everyone’s holiday cards EVERY year. He does make me smile!
Snowball was easy to stamp, and for this card, he was fussy cut, and attached with Dimensionals. Although, he said he was just as cute in the middle of a die cut, and as long as he had snow, he was happy.
Snowball
Snowball wanted to play in lots of Basic White snow (5 3/8 X 4 1/8), and decided to cut a “window” with a So Many Snowflakes Die. Isn’t it great? You can see the die in the picture above, plus the entire set in my Product list below.
For the background of the window, I used a Blending Brush with Coastal Cabana Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/2″ X 3 1/4″. This was taped to the back of the layer, which was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to taping the background, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “It’s the most wonderful time of the year” is from the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set.
To complete the card, Snowball thought I should stamp a few snowflakes (Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set) in Coastal Cabana Ink, in the left, upper corner. He was very specific. And, just one more thing, a few Artistry Blooms Sequins.

Meet Sweety from the Sweet Stockings Designer Paper. She’s been waiting patiently, NOT, for her appearance on a card. You may think she’s unhappy, but, trust me, she is extremely happy. She couldn’t wait to be cut free from the paper, and become the solo focal point. She’s very proud of her reindeer headpiece.

After cutting Sweety, it didn’t take long to complete her card. The card base is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I layered it with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which I embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
Next I cut three strips of paper, two from Sweet Stockings Designer Paper, and one Basic White. The green stripe is 1/2″ X 5 1/4″, the red is 3 3/4″ X 1/2″, and the white is 3 1/2″ X 1/2″.
I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink on the white strip, and glued it to the card front. “Just want to say” is from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, and the inside says, “Merry Christmas.” The red strip was glued next, followed by the green strip on top.
Sweety chose her spot in the corner, and asked to be lifted on Dimensionals, which I thought was a good idea.
Here’s a photo of the twelve designs in the pack. Isn’t it cute?
We completed the card by adding a few Decorative Matte Dots. Then, Sweety thought I should decorate the envelope, and I agreed. It was easy to cut a 5 3/4″ X 2 3/8″ piece of designer paper, glue it to the envelope flap, and trim the excess, using the flap as a template. You can see the envelope in the first photo.

The Sale-a-bration Be Dazzling Specialty Paper is so fabulous, I want to try cutting every die I own with it! Today, I used the Sea Life fish die, and was not disappointed. It even has the appearance of fish scales, right?

Be Dazzling Fish
I think you know, the first thing I did was cut the fish from the Be Dazzling paper. Then, I found the perfect background in a piece of Expressions In Ink Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4.”
I cut the paper so there was a large portion of white at the top. To give this detail, I used the unusual, Stitched Leaves Die. It seems like beams of light penetrating the water.
The white space was also handy for stamping the sentiment in Shaded Spruce Ink. “You are unique and completely amazing” is from the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set.
After stamping the sentiment, I glued the layer to a Shaded Spruce card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), and the body of the fish to the card front. I left the fins free, which were easily curled with my fingers.
The final touch was “bubbles,” created with Artistry Blooms Self-Adhesive Sequins. I love the iridescent quality of these sequins!

Yay, it’s finally here, the day our July-December 2021 Mini Catalog goes live! Everyone can now order from our super duper “holiday” catalog! I wanted to show off some of my favorite designer paper, Painted Christmas, along with Sale-a-bration, Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. That’s right, we’re having a second Sale-a-bration!!!
Christmas Banner
The first thing I did was cut the Playful Alphabet letters, M-E-R-R-Y, from the new Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This paper is amazing, and it’s one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items, with a qualifying order.
Next, I used a Tailor Made Tags Die to create a tag for each letter on my banner. I wanted the tags to be shorter, and to help explain how I did this, I took a picture. Placing the first cut piece, as shown, I was able to keep the tags the same size.
After gluing the letters to the tags, and placing them on Dimensionals, I strung them with this wonderful, Playful Pets Trim. This ribbon is red & white, and perfect for Christmas, don’t you think?
I taped the ends of the ribbon to the back of this fabulous, Painted Christmas Designer Paper. It was cut with an Ornate Layers Die, and glued to the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing the banner piece to the card base, I embossed the card front with the new Timber Embossing Folder. I like the added texture, and know it will be getting lots of use.
“Christmas” is from the Snowman Season Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink, and cut with the same Tailor Made Tags die. I gave it some Playful Pets Trim, and attached it with Dimensionals.

What’s the most popular, holiday, flower? The poinsettia! So, that’s what I chose for this week’s “flower power” Global Design Project. Tomorrow August 3, Stampin’ Up’s 2021 “holiday” catalog goes live, and ordering can begin!
Today’s card is a combination of current product, and brand new product, that will be available tomorrow. Current product is in my Product List below, and I’ll give you the order numbers for the new product.
Poinsettia Melody
I began with a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with a layer of basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. The white layer was embossed with one of our new products from the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog, the Merry Melody Embossing Folder #156392. You have to have music during the holiday season, right?
The next layer is another new product, the gorgeous, Painted Christmas Designer Paper #156292. I used an Ornate Layers Die for cutting, and glued it in the middle of the music.
Next, I stamped the poinsettia, from the current, Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set, in Soft Sea Foam Ink on Basic White Cardstock. There are three rounds of petals; small, medium, and large, which I cut with the dies you can see in the first photo. Then, I used three dies to emboss the petals for additional detail. Isn’t that cool?
I glued the large petals flat, and placed dimensionals between the other two.
Okay, I know you’re dying to know about about the sparkling flower center and sprig. They were cut with Poinsettia Dies from a new Sale-A-Bration product, Be Dazzling Specialty Paper #156629. This paper is amazing! It is thick, and cuts like our Foil Sheets, so it’s sturdy. And, the best news is, it’s FREE with a qualifying $50 order!
Finally, the sentiment is from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set, stamped in Garden Green Ink, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die.
The paper I used for photographing is another Painted Christmas design, #156292.
