Stenciling is so much fun, and the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Paper provides the perfect tool. I simply held a section of the Laser-Cut Paper in place, on top of Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″), and used a Blending Brush to add some Seaside Spray Ink.

Laser-Cut Stenciling
When I was happy with the amount of ink applied to the stencil, I glued the layer to a Highland Heather card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″).
Next, I colored two branches of Laser-Cut Paper with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, on the white side, and glued them to the card front.

The sentiment, “thanks,” is from the Simple Succulents Stamp Set. I stamped it in Seaside Spray Ink on Basic White Cardstock, cut with its Potted Succulents Die, and attached with Dimensionals. Finally, a few Whale Of A Time Sequins were added for sparkle.

I was inspired by the colors at the Paper Players.

Can you taste the candy? I have a sweet tooth, so just the thought of treats makes my mouth water!

“Sweets for the sweet”
For this week’s Global Design Project, I chose to use white chocolate in pastel shades of Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, and So Saffron. The candy is from the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp Set, and cut with a Love You More Than Die. You can see the entire bundle in my Product List below.
I stamped the outline of the candy in full strength ink, and stamped the inside color in “stamped off” strength to make it lighter.
The same die set was used to cut the word “you” from Basic Black Cardstock. The words “love you more than” are attached on one die, but they cut separately.

For the word “sweet,” I used the Playful Alphabet Dies with True Love Designer Paper. These letters work perfectly with the Foam Adhesive Sheets to give them nice dimension.

The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, which I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, using the largest Stitched With Whimsy Die, to give a detailed edge.

I added a pretty bow of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, held in place at the knot with Liquid Glue, and it feels very secure. The Opal Rounds have a sugary look, so I tossed on a few.

This week’s Global Design Project is a “treats” theme challenge. I’d love for you for you to be inspired by our designers, play along, and add your card to our gallery.

For this month’s Stamping Sunday Blog Hop, we are sharing Easter projects. First, I created an “Angle Pop Up Wow Card” with instructions from a friend, and fellow Demonstrator, Donna Kopenski. I also have written instructions from Dawn Griffith, which is better than if I tried to explain it to you.
I had the fun of decorating, and you’ll find all of my supplies in my Product List below.

Butterfly Pop-Up

My card base is Coastal Cabana Cardstock, decorated with four angled pieces of Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper, and one piece of Basic White Cardstock.
I used the large, one-piece, Brilliant Wings Die to cut six butterflies from one of the patterns of Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper. I backed three of them with Coastal Cabana Cardstock, so they would be attractive from the back, as well as for sturdiness to fly above the top of the card.

“Happy Easter” is from the Word Wishes Die Set, cut from Coastal Cabana Cardstock, and glued to the card front. Three Opal Rounds completed my pop-up card.
The sentiment inside, shown in the first picture, is from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set. It was stamped it in Bermuda Bay Ink, and cut with Ornate Frames Dies.

My second project uses most of the same products, but in a “clean & simple” way. The card base is Coastal Cabana in a standard size, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
I stamped the large, one-piece, Butterfly Brilliance stamp in Bermuda Bay Ink on a 6″ X 6″ pattern of Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper. Then, I trimmed it to 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it to the card front.

Next, I used two more Brilliant Wings Dies to cut detailed wings for the two “complete” butterflies. I glued the bodies in place, and added an Opal Round to each.

The sentiment is from the Gift Of Hope Stamp Set. “He is not here, for He has risen. Matthew 28:6” was stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink on Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper, cut with an Ornate Frames Die, and attached with Dimensionals.

Please join our Easter Parade, and enjoy the projects that our designers have created for you to see.

I thought it would be fun to cut the chicks from Rainbow Glimmer Paper. They are one of the Birthday Chicks Dies, and super cute. Now I’m laughing, because the sparkle makes them look like sugar-coated Peeps. You know, the favorite Easter candy. LOL!

Easter Chicks
The chicks’ eggs were created with two layering Ovals Dies, cut from Fine Art Floral Designer Paper. I layered the eggs with cardstock for thickness.

The background has several layers of cardstock. First, the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Second, a layer of Flirty Flamingo, 4″ X 5 1/4″, followed by Mango Melody that is 1/16″ smaller, followed by Basic White Cardstock, 1/8″ smaller. I embossed the white layer with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.

The sentiment, “Welcome Spring,” is from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set. It was stamped in Memento Black Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, cut with an Ornate Frames Die. I stamped the sentiment along the bottom, so there would be room for the chicks.

I was inspired by TGIF.

If you appreciate miniatures, you will love this miniature envelope! And, guess where I found it…in the Snail Dies. And, this is because snails and mail go together. If you don’t believe me, you can see the entire set in my Product List below.

Miniature Envelopes
I began by choosing three bright, fun, colors of 6X6 Designer Paper in Magenta Madness, Just Jade, and Highland Heather. Then, using the envelope Snail Die, I cut and folded the envelopes. They even have stitched edges! I put a dot of glue to hold the flaps together, with a Mini Dimensional under the top flap, so it wouldn’t be perfectly flat.

Next, I used the same colors of Stampin Blends to paint angled stripes on the left corner of Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, using a lined piece of paper as a guide. Then, I outlined the colored stripes with a Basic Black Stampin’ Blend. After coloring, I used the largest Stitched Rectangles Die for cutting, and glued the layer to a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“You’ve got mail” is from the Snailed It Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with a Snail Die. The three white hearts were cut with another Snail Die, and I HAD to use it; it’s so cute!

My layout is from Freshly Made Sketches.
