Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Cute Critters” – showcasing their card/project with adorable animals, birds, or insects for any occasion. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
When it come to critters, for cuteness, the Springtime Joy bunny is hard to beat. In fact, she is so cute, she earned the name “Precious.”
Precious is encircled by Mint Macaron Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″) cut with a Birds & More Die. I added some texture to the layer with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder.

“Precious”
Precious is from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and colored with Stampin’ Blends: Gray Granite, Ivory, Macaron Mint, Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight.

The kaleidoscope of butterflies was cut from The Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper, and attached with Dimensionals. To get Dimensionals small enough, I cut a thin strip along the edge, then snipped tiny pieces.

The sentiment, “Wishing you the blessings of…” is from the Gift Of Hope Stamp Set, stamped in Just Jade Ink. I stamped it, with the help of the Stamparatus, on the Thick Basic White card base.
To complete the sentiment,”Easter” is from the Word Wishes Die Set, cut from Mint Macaron Cardstock. I cut the word a second time, from Basic White Cardstock, to give “Easter” a shadowed effect.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a spectacular day!

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on April 14th when our theme is “Great Family Occasions” when our Design Team creates a project for any special occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft space.

When you need a little humor, the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle is the way to go. And the chicks look great in all colors. This chick was stamped in Memento Black Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, and colored with Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather, and the balloon in Just Jade.

Spring Chicken
After coloring, I used one of the Birthday Chick Dies for cutting, and placed her on Dimensionals. Because she was stamped on Thick Basic White Cardstock, she is nice and sturdy.
You may not notice, but I forgot to color the end of the balloon, before taking the pictures. The end is Just Jade now.

The chick’s background is Basic White Cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″), glued to a Just Jade card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″).
The sentiment,”you’re still a spring Chicken” is from the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set, stamped in Just Jade Ink.
“Happy Birthday” was cut with a Birthday Chick Die from Just Jade Cardstock, which I attached to a Foam Adhesive Sheet for dimension. It’s a bit tricky to remove all the tiny, sticky, pieces, but I think it was worth it, don’t you?

The white, picket fence along the bottom is another die in the Birthday Chick set, and I think it’s fabulous. This is two sections, and they attach, so you can make it as long as you want. You can see the entire bundle in my Product List below.

I was inspired by the colors at TGIF. I used Highland Heather, because I didn’t have a Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Blend.

The Springtime Joy Stamp Set has the most adorable bunny for today’s Easter card. Don’t you want to squeeze her?

Easter Bunny
My layout is from Global Design Project’s sketch challenge, which emphasizes the greeting. We’d love for you to play along, and add your card to our gallery.
First, I stamped the bunny, from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After cutting the bunny free from the paper, I colored her with six colors of Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Bronze, Rococo Rose, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, and Soft Sea Foam.

For her background, I used a Greenery Embossing Folder to emboss 3/4″ on the left side of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I made a stencil by cutting an oval with the largest Layering Ovals Die from Basic White Cardstock, 4 X 5 1/4″. I taped the stencil over my embossed layer, and used a Blending Brush with Mint Macaron Ink for coloring.
Next, for additional stenciling, I taped a pattern of Forever Greenery Laser-Cut paper on top of the oval, and continued with my Blending Brush and Mint Macaron Ink. It was really fun coloring this “egg!”

I’m sharing with the Paper Players.

The new Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper is gorgeous, and I’m showing it off in a “clean & simple” way for today’s card.
First, I used the large Brilliant Wings Die to cut six butterflies from the designer paper. You’ll see, I used two, and the other four are waiting to fly onto another card.

Welcome Spring!
Second, I cut three strips from different sections of the backside of the Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper, using a Stitched Rectangles Die, 3/4″ X 2 3/4″. I cut three more rectangles from Thick Basic White Cardstock to back them for thickness.

ALERT: You are going to want this paper, so order ASAP, before it’s no longer available.

To match the stitching, I used the largest Stitched Rectangles Die to cut a layer from Basic White Cardstock. Then, I glued this to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “Welcome Spring!” is from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on a light section of the designer paper, and cut it with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die.
The sentiment and two butterflies were attached with Dimensionals. Plus, three Whale Of A Time Sequins were added for a touch of sparkle.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

Remember when I stamped Brilliant Butterflies in Memento Black Ink, and said I was going to color them with Stampin’ Blends? Today is the day! This butterfly is camouflaged in shades of green: Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, and Just Jade.

Butterfly In Green
I used the one-piece, Brilliant Butterflies Stamp, and Brilliant Wings, one-piece die, for cutting.
The entire Butterfly Brilliance Collection is in my Product List below, even though I didn’t use everything for this card. You’ll want to order it now, while it’s available.

The Stamparatus was used when stamping the butterflies. This enabled me to stamp several times, so the images would have perfect ink coverage. You can see the Stamparatus in my Product List also.

The background for my butterfly is a layer of Forever Greenery Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″. It is glued to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “Made with love just for you,” is from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used an Ornate Frames Die for cutting the label. The frame was cut from Old Olive Cardstock, also using an Ornate Frames Die.
I attached the butterfly and sentiment with Dimensionals, and my card was complete. I wonder what color my next butterfly will be?

Can you see how I was inspired by Fusion?

The Snailed It Bundle is just too cute to pass up, especially since we send “snail mail” all the time! The stamp set and dies can be ordered separately, or in a bundle that saves you 10%. You can see the details in my Product List below. Don’t overlook the die that makes a miniature envelope; I’ll be using that soon.

“You’ve got mail”
I began with the cute, mail carrying snail, stamping him in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I colored him with Mint Macaron and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. While my Stampin’ Blends were handy, I colored the heart on the envelope Calypso Coral, and painted an inch or two of Calypso Coral and Highland Heather on Basic White Cardstock.
Next, I used the Snail Dies to cut the snail and the mushrooms from the colored cardstock. They are hiding in the upper, left corner.

For the background, I cut a layer of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Then, I used a Curvy Die to cut a top piece from Basic White Cardstock, and a bottom piece from Highland Heather Cardstock. I was careful to make sure the dots were in the right direction.
Once the curves were glued in place, I glued the entire layer to a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“You’ve got mail” is from the Snailed It Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with a Snail Die. I love that snails can talk!
I attached the sentiment and snail with Dimensionals, glued the mushrooms in place, and my card was almost finished.
There’s a cute heart in the Snailed It Stamp Set, so I “had” to stamp a few across the bottom.

I was inspired by Fab Friday.
