Rainbows are among nature’s most beautiful, awe inspiring, sights, so it’s fun to try and capture rainbows on paper.
I began by painting stripes of color across Basic White Cardstock, large enough to accommodate two dragonflies. Four Stampin’ Blend colors were used, in an alternating pattern: Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, and Highland Heather. Then, I stamped two dragonflies, from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink, on top of the rainbow stripes.

Next, I used the Dragonfly Punch for cutting, which made it very easy, and I placed them on Dimensionals.
For the background, I applied Balmy Blue Ink to a Blending Brush, and with a light touch in a circular motion, colored Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
After coloring, I cut an inch off the side of the sky background, and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Then, I glued both pieces to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, making sure the border was even.
For a bit more rainbow, I used the Classic Label Punch to cut a piece of the remaining stripe, and glued it in place.
Before attaching the dragonflies, I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue Ink. “Thinking of you” is from the Rooted In Nature Stamp Set.
The Opal Rounds glisten in rainbow colors, so I had to add them as a final touch.

Animals know how to relax, and we need to take a lesson from them. Right? Today’s card is clean & simple, and was finished in a jiffy, so I could go and relax! LOL
Relax!
The first thing I did was fussy cut the cat from the Playful Pets Designer Paper. You can see all of the cats and dogs by clicking on the picture in my Product List below.
Because this cat is the color of Cinnamon Cider, I used that color to color the black & white geometric pattern of True Love Designer Paper. I achieved the mottled look by using light & dark Stampin’ Blends that come in a combo pack.
The cat’s tongue and ears are the color of Flirty Flamingo, so I used that cardstock for the largest triangle.
The cat is attached with Dimensionals to the smallest, Basic White triangle, stamped with the sentiment.
“Relax your way,” from A Good Man Stamp Set, was stamped in Stazon Ink. Perfect, huh?
Prior to adhering the triangles, I used the largest Stitched With Whimsy Die to add detail to the border of the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Quick & easy!
I was inspired by the Paper Players.

I don’t use a lot of ribbon on my cards, but today’s Global Design Project design showcases a Petal Pink Organdy bow. Isn’t it pretty?
Petal Pink & Smoky Slate
I began by stamping a Positive Thoughts flower in Petal Pink Ink, randomly, on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Nature’s Thoughts Die for cutting. Don’t you love the detailed edge? You can see the complete stamp and die sets in my Product List below.
Next, I added some layers: First, the floral rectangle on Subtles 6X6 Designer Paper in a dotted pattern, 3 3/4″ X 5″, followed by a Smoky Slate, Peony Garden Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, layered on a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “Hugs Prayers Love,” is from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Basic Gray Ink, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. The fancy frame was cut from the same Peony Garden Designer Paper as the layer.
I attached the sentiment with Dimensionals, my beautiful bow with a Glue Dot, three, self-sticking pearls, and my Global Design Project was complete.

Hummingbird & Gold Hoop
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4 ” X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
I stamped the hummingbird, and the flowers, in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I colored them with Stampin’ Blends in six colors: Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody, and Daffodil Delight.
Next, I fussy cut the hummingbird, and used a Layering Circles Die to cut the flowers. The one that’s approximately 2″ is just the right size to glue a Gold Hoop Embellishment to it. After adhering, I attached the bird and flowers to the card front with Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “Thank you so much,” was stamped in Memento Black Ink, cut with a Layering Circles Die, and glued to a scalloped circle of Gold Foil to coordinate with the Gold Hoop. I glued this to the card front, a spec beneath the Gold Hoop.
Clear Epoxy Droplets were the final touch for my Sale-A-Bration thank you card.

There’s a lot of “missing” going on right now. And, this Darling Donkey is perfect for expressing that feeling, don’t you think?
I Miss You
I stamped my favorite donkey from the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After cutting the donkey from the paper, along the lines, I colored him with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, and placed him on Dimensionals.

While considering several backgrounds, we decided on Dandy Garden Designer Paper. The card base is Mossy Meadow with a 4″ X 5 1/4″ layer of a Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee print. The next dainty, Bumblee print, was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die, 3″ X 4 1/4″.
The donkey is sitting on stripes, cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die, 3″ X 1″. Glued on top of the stripes is Basic White Cardstock, stamped with “I miss you” from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die, 2 1/2″ X 1/2″.

Today’s seashells, thank you card, has a raised panel that’s unique looking, and easy to create. Just follow along, and I’ll show you how to do it.
Seashells Thank You
First, I used Thick Basic White Cardstock for the card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded t 4 1/4″. Second, I cut a piece of pink, Sand & Sea Designer Paper, the same size as the card front, 4 1/4 X 5 1/2″. Third, I cut a piece of the shell patterned paper, 4 1/4″ X 2 1/4″, and glued it across the middle of the pink paper. Then, I used the largest Stitched Rectangles Die for cutting.
Next, I used the third largest, Stitched Rectangles Die, 2 1/2″ X 4″, to cut the center panel, and layered it for thickness. After gluing the “frame” to the card base, I attached the center panel with strips of Foam Adhesive Sheets.
You wouldn’t have to use the Stitched Rectangles Dies, but I like the added detail.
Now, for decorating the panel. I stamped the sand dollar, starfish, and “thank you,” from the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set, in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I fussy cut the shells and used the smallest Stitched So Sweetly Die for the sentiment. Don’t you love the small size and shape of this die cut?
I attached all three with Dimensionals on top of a piece of Braided Linen Trim. I had fun pulling it apart and “unbraiding” the ends. It’s held in place with two Mini Glue Dots.
Last, I added three of those beautiful Opal Rounds.
