Painterly Pears Garden Of Life

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Here is a “WOW” sheet of Painterly Pear Designer Paper, and sure to be a scrapbooking favorite! Believe it, or not, it’s included in the 15% off In Color Sale! The inventory is low, and the sale ends the 31st, so don’t wait. I cut a section of it using the largest Textured Notes Die, and glued it to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

In the Garden of Life

Here is the full 12″ X 12″ sheet.

Prior to gluing, I gave the designer paper texture with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.

The sentiment, “Friends are flowers in the garden of life,” is from the. You Are Remarkable Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Textured Notes Die for cutting. A third, Textured Notes Die was used to cut the vertical strip from Painterly Pears DSP. After adding layers to the sentiment, and vertical strip, I glued them together, and attached the strip with Dimensionals. I added a touch of sparkle with 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls. This Secret Sea color is gorgeous, because it picks up all of the colors!

Misty Moonlight Sympathy Card

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

This week’s challenge at TGIF is an “inspiration challenge.”

I remembered a similar scene from Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, which made it easy to play along.

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Peace On Earth Stamp Set, Thoughtful Journey DSP, Textured Notes Dies; #thoughtfuljourney #peaceonearth #texturednotesdies #rhinestones #sympathycards #mistymoonlight #tgif #inspirationchallenge #stampinup

Misty Moonlight

I began by cutting the designer paper with the second largest, Textured Notes Die. Then, I layered it on Fresh Freesia Cardstock, cut with the largest, Textured Notes Die. After gluing the layers together, I glued them to a Misty Moonlight card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Isn’t the color name, Misty Moonlight, perfect for this card?

I thought it would make a good sympathy card, and stamped “with deepest sympathy” in Secret Sea Ink. This sentiment is from the Peace On Earth Stamp Set from the 2025 September-December Mini Catalog, available September 3. To complete the card, I added twinkle to the sky with three, Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

The Z Fold card base was cut from White Willow Cardstock, 2 3/4″ X 12″, scored at 4″ and 8 “. Then, I used the largest Everyday Arches Die to cut three arches from White Willow cardstock, and glued them to the Z fold card base. Here’s a view of the back.

Next, I used the second largest, Everyday Arches Die, to cut three arches: two from Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and one from the Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack. This “card pack” is a favorite from the 2025 September-December Mini Catalog (p.13), and will be available September 3.

Joyful Days for Global Design Project

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme challenge: letters or numbers.

I used Alphabet a La Mode Dies to cut “JOY” from a Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack, a favorite from the 2025 Holiday Catalog, available September 3. The letters were given dimension by attaching the Joyful Days Card, 2 1/4″ X 2″,  to an Adhesive Foam Sheet of equal size, placing the letters on top of it, and rolling it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

JOY

Next, I used Branching Out Dies to cut three layers. These new dies are another favorite from the 2025 Holiday Catalog. Don’t you love dies that layer this way? The top layer is a Christmas tree, also cut from a Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack. The middle layer is Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and the largest layer is Floral Delight Designer Paper, embossed with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder.

After cutting and gluing the layers, I glued them to a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I attached “JOY,” and my card was complete.

Sneak Peek of A Child Is Born

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Today’s card is a sneak peek of two favorites from the 2025 September-December Mini Catalog; A Child Is Born, and Peaceful Garden Designer Paper. You’ll be able to order from the catalog September 3! I used this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for the layout of squares, which you can see below. I began by cutting the card base from Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I cut four squares of Peaceful Garden Designer Paper, using a 1 1/2″ square, Stylish Shapes Die, and glued them in place.

By Su Mohr for FMS; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: A Child Is Born Stamp Set, Peaceful Garden DSP, Stylish Shapes Dies; #achildisborn #peacefulgarden #christmas2025 #freshlymadesketches #squarecard #manger #stampinup #handmadecards #cardmaking

A Child Is Born

Next, I used two, Stylish Shapes square dies to cut the frame from 2025-2027 In Color Designer Paper. Then, I stamped the manger, from the A Child Is Born Stamp Set, in Secret Sea Ink on the same In Color DSP. After fussy cutting the manger, I attached it, with the frame, on top of the four squares.  To fit the narrow frame, I used thin strips of Dimensionals, cut from the edge of “left-over” pieces. Remember, if you need “In Color” products, they are discounted 15% until the end of August.

“O Holy night” is from the A Child Is Born Stamp Set, stamped in Secret Sea Ink. As a final touch, I added three, Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

The layout was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

Just A Note for Stampin’ Fancy Friday

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “In Color Spotlight.”

I used all five colors with 2025-2027 In Color Designer Paper to spell the word, “happy.” The letters were cut with the Mini Alphabet Die: h(Darling Duckling) a(Strawberry Slush) p(Timid Tiger) p(Cloud Cover) y(Secret Sea). A Foam Adhesive Sheet was used  for Dimension, adhering it to the designer paper, before rolling the letters through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

By Su Mohr for Stampin' Fancy Friday; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Just A Note Bundle, Choose Happy Stamp Set, Mini Alphabet Dies, Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder, Perennial Postage Dies; #justanote #choosehappy #minialphabetdies #minicorrugated embossing #stampinfancyfriday #notebookpaper #stampinup #handmadecards #cardmaking

Choose Happy

Next, I attached the letters to “notebook paper,” created with a Just A Note die, Basic White Cardstock, and a Just A Note stamp for the lines with Secret Sea Ink. Isn’t it adorable? I cut a second piece, from Secret Sea DSP, to layer behind it, and attached both with a paperclip. The paperclip was cut from Silver Foil, and isn’t it realistic?

“Choose” is from the Choose Happy Stamp Set, stamped in Secret Sea Ink, cut with a Perennial Postage Die. Before attaching”choose” with Dimensionals, I glued two arrows, cut with Just A Note Dies, from Secret Sea Cardstock. The background is Basic White Cardstock, given texture with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4.
