I was excited to share my first card with products from the Peace On Earth Suite in the 2025 Holiday Catalog. You may be familiar with it, because it was used for Stampin’ Up!’s Creativity Now event in June. If you like birds, you will want these doves, when it becomes available to customers September 3. Aren’t they fabulous, cut from Basic White Cardstock?

Anniversary Doves
The square behind the doves was cut with a Stylish Shapes Die from Peaceful Garden Designer Paper. This square was layered for thickness and glued to another pattern of Peaceful Garden Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/2″. Then, both were glued to a Cloud Cover card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Happy Anniversary” is from the Mixed Labels Stamp Set. I stamped it in Secret Sea Ink On Peaceful Garden DSP, used a Mixed Labels banner die for cutting, and layered it for thickness. I attached it in the middle with Dimensionals, and glued the ends. These items are part of the Last Chance Sale, and you can see the discounted prices by clicking on the pictures in my Product List below. The card was completed with 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Cloud Cover.

I was inspired by the sketch at TGIF.

I began today’s card with the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, which I adhered to Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 5 1/2″. This Washi Tape is so much fun to use, and if it gets a wrinkle while adhering, you can lift it, and press it flat again.

Extraordinary Flora Garden
After smoothing the Washi Tape, I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with its Extraordinary Flora Die. This die cuts the Washi Tape into 16 pieces. I used 7 for today’s design, which I attached with Mini Dimensionals.

Next, I cut three shapes of Lovely Garden Designer Paper: 1 1/2″ X 1 1/2″, 1/1/2″ X 3″, and 2 1/4″ X 1 3/4″. Then, I layered the black & white leaf pattern on Coastal Cabana Cardstock 1/8″ larger, giving a 1/16″ border. The shapes were then glued to a tiny dot pattern of Lovely Garden Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which was glued to a Coastal Cabana card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The sentiment, “you make a difference,” is from the Thankful Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Delightful Wishes Die for cutting, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals.

To complete the design, I added three, small, Rainbow Dots.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

Today’s holiday card was created with current products, but I have to say, I’m really excited about all of the new products in the upcoming, 2025 Holiday Catalog. As a Demonstrator I was able to pre-order from the catalog yesterday, and I’ll be sharing some favorites as soon as my order arrives. Customers get to order beginning September 3, but send me an email ([email protected]) if you’d like to become a Demonstrator, so you can pre-order now.
I began by fussy cutting this sweet, little, bird from Nests Of Winter Designer Paper. She is perched on a circle of Woven Textures Designer Paper, cut with a Spotlight On Nature Die. Isn’t this paper great?

Current Holiday Card
The background is Basic White cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, given texture with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. This layer was glued to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to embossing, I stamped dots, from Shepherd’s Care Stamp Set, in Gray Granite Ink. The sentiment, “Peace on Earth,” is from the same stamp set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with an Unbounded Love Die.

To complete the card, I attached the bird and sentiment with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three, white, Neutral Matte Dots.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE Rose Coleman’s adorable card. I love the background of hearts, so I used the same Fancy Borders Die to create a bunch of those hearts on my design, which you’ll see below. We’d love to see your CASE of Rose’s card, and don’t forget to tag it #gdp508.

I thought it would be fun to have bright hearts, and Celebratory Sips Designer Paper provided a rainbow of bright colors. I counted 28 hearts, but it didn’t take that long, because the die cut a bunch at a time.

“You brighten my day”
I used the Take Your Pick Tool to help arrange, and glue, the hearts to Basic White Cardstock. Before gluing, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to give the cardstock a pretty border. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
I wanted the sentiment to have the word “bright,” and found “you brighten my day,” in the Spring Corners Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Mixed Labels Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Isn’t this sentiment label cute?

Today’s design was inspired by two card challenges, which you can see below. I began with three pencils from the Trusty Tools Stamp Set. I stamped them in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used a Trusty Tools Die for cutting, and layered them for thickness. Then, I colored them with three colors of Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Peach Pie, and Shy Shamrock.

Back to school
The Just A Note Dies were used for the Basic White Cardstock notebook paper, Crumb Cake Cardstock clip, and Peach Pie stars. And, the Just A Note Stamp Set provided the Shy Shamrock lines and Crumb Cake “Happy back to school” sentiment.

After gluing the clip, stars and pencils to the notebook paper, I attached it to the card front with Dimensionals. The card base is Crumb Cake Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with Shy Shamrock Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and a top layer of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 4 3/4″, which I embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder.

Prior to gluing, I used a Fancy Borders Die to give a detailed edge along the top of the Basic White Cardstock. I think you can see how I used the two card challenges for my design. Lily can give this card to one of her pre-school teachers.

The colors are from TGIF.

The layout is from Freshly Made Sketches.

Let’s begin August with a “clean & simple” friendship card! I began with the sixth largest Everyday Arches Die to cut Basic White Cardstock. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake Ink. “Friends are flowers in the garden of life” is from the You are Remarkable Stamp Set.

Friends are flowers
Next, I used a Scenic Adventures Die to cut the little row of flowers, along the bottom of the arch. This die gives a partial cut, so I placed dimensionals beneath the flowers to lift them, while gluing the arch to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Prior to gluing, I used Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers in four colors: Daffodil Delight, Darling Duckling, Lemon Lolly, and Granny Apple Green. I placed cardstock behind the lifted flowers, while coloring, to avoid color where it didn’t belong. After coloring the flowers, I glued a “fence” across the bottom of the arch. This was created with a Mixed Labels Die, cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock. It just happened to fit perfectly!

To complete the design, I used the sixth largest Everyday Arches Die with the third largest Everyday Arches Die to cut a “frame” of Basic White Cardstock. After embossing the “frame” with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder, I glued it around the smaller arch.
