Here is a second sneak peek of the Sweetest Star Bundle. After I made the card with the Santa, I HAD to make one with the Gingerbread Man! He didn’t even require coloring; just cut him with the Sweetest Star Punch from Pecan Pie Cardstock. For his “frosting,” I stamped with VersaMark, sprinkled White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool.

Gingerbread Men
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″, given texture with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. This is layered on Take A Bow Designer Paper, 4″ X 5 1/4″, looking like peppermint sticks. Both layers are glued to a Real Red card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I cut the greenery with a Sentimental Wishes Die from Take A Bow DSP, and glued it in place. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Real Red Ink, and used a Peaceful Season Die for cutting. “Baking spirits bright” is in the Sweetest Star Stamp Set. You’ll be able to order all the new products on September 4.

The last detail was adding Peppermint embellishments to the Gingerbread Men. Yummy!

I always look for a cute Santa in our holiday catalog, and I found him in the Sweetest Star Bundle. Plus, I’m happy to say, there is a punch for cutting. I used the Sweetest Star Punch to cut three stars from Take A Bow Designer Paper, and added dimension to the stars by a method described on page 47 of the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. Ordering from this catalog begins September 4, and I will have a digital copy on my blog that day. If you are one of my customers, you’ll receive a catalog in the mail.

Sweetest Star Santa
Next, I stamped Santa in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used the Sweetest Star Punch for cutting. Then, I colored him using Stampin’ Blends: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Ivory, and Basic Black.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Before attaching the stars with Dimensionals, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “Season’s Greetings” is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, available now in Online Exclusives. Click on it in my Product List below to see the many, great sentiments. I embellished my card with peppermint candy. Doesn’t it look good enough to eat?

Today’s card is a sneak peek of Sentimental Christmas Designer Paper, available September 4. To begin today’s card, I used a Deckled Circles Die (3 1/4″) to cut a deer from one of the patterns. Then, I layered it with cardstock for thickness, and placed it on Dimensionals.

Sentimental Deer
Next, I created the background with a panel of Nests Of Winter Designer Paper, 2 1/4″ X 5 5/16″, backed with Shaded Spruce Cardstock, 1/8″ larger. This was glued to a Pool Party card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “love & joy,” is from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink.

The bow was created with Peaceful Evergreens Dies and Pool Party Cardstock. Isn’t it adorable? The trick is to soften the paper fibers with a Bone Folder to get a nicely, rounded bow.

Sentimental Christmas DSP has a wonderful, vintage look to it, and was chosen by Stampin’ Up! for this year’s Product Giveback, to benefit children’s literacy. With each purchase of the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to organizations dedicated to the future of children around the world. We hope you’ll join us in making a difference this holiday season. Order #164209, beginning September 4.

August’s assignment for the 2024 Artisan Design Team was to create projects using the Filled With Cheer Stamp Set, and Filled With Fun Bundle, perfect for a jump-start on making holiday cards. You’ll find the supplies in my Product List below.

Filled With Cheer
For the first card, I stamped the snowman scene in Memento Black Ink on Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper. Then, I colored the snowman, tree, and sled in six colors of Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Pool Party (not pictured),Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, and Pumpkin Pie. Then, I used the second largest Perennial Postage Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals.

Next, I used the largest Perennial Postage Die to cut Winter Meadow Designer Paper, and glued it to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The sentiment, “a warm hello,” is from the Filled With Cheer Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used the smallest Perennial Postage Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

The second card features a wagon, created with Filled With Fun Dies. I cut the wagon body from Lost Lagoon Cardstock, and the wood paneling from Gray Granite Cardstock. The wheels are Basic Gray Cardstock with Silver Foil to match the Silver Foil handle. The lights were stamped in Memento Black Ink, and colored with three Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, and Balmy Blue. After completing the wagon, I attached it with Dimensionals to the card front, a layer of Winter Meadow Designer Paper, cut with the second largest Perennial Postage Die. This was attached with Dimensionals to a layer of Winter Meadow DSP, cut with the largest Perennial Postage Die, and glued to a Lost lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “sending loads of Christmas cheer,” is from the Filled With Cheer Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a perennial Postage Die for cutting, and glued it to the top of the wagon, along with Dimensionals.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme: greenery. I used the Changing Leaves Bundle, one of my favorites from the new, Online Exclusive products. The Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder, that comes in the bundle, was used to emboss Basic White Cardstock. Prior to embossing, I used the largest Deckled Rectangles Die to cut the white cardstock. Then, I glued the layer to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Green Leaves
Next, I used Changing Leaves Dies to cut the leaves from Flowering Zinnias Designer Paper. See how the designer paper adds a variation of green to the leaves? They were layered on cardstock for thickness, and glued to the card front. The sprigs were cut from Pecan Pie Cardstock, and glued in place.

The sentiment is from the Changing Leaves Stamp Set, and cut with a Changing Leaves Die. I stamped, “a little note to brighten your day,” in Early Espresso Ink, and attached it with Dimensionals. The final step was embellishing with Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems.

Now it’s your turn to find some products in your stash to create a “greenery” card. Look for all of the Global Design Project Designers on Facebook and Instagram. Share and tag #GDP459 to play along with this challenge.

Sophisticated Sled is a favorite holiday bundle, available now in Online Exclusives. It’s in my Product List below, along with the other supplies I used on today’s card.
I began with the adorable ice skates, cut with Sophisticated Sled Dies. The shoes were cut from Basic White Cardstock, the blades were cut from Silver Foil, and the laces were cut from Gold Foil. It’s amazing the way the lace fits through a slot in the shoe for a perfect fit!

Sophisticated Sled
Next, I used Sophisticated Sled Dies to cut the sled from Real Red Cardstock for the frame, and Meandering Meadow Designer Paper for the wood portion. Then, I glued the pieces together, and placed it on Dimensionals.

The greenery was cut from Meandering Meadows DSP, and glued to the top of the sled. I created the gold bow by cutting Gold Trim in half, shredding, and attaching it with a Glue Dot. I pulled a couple strands down to “hang” the ice skates, which were attached with Glue Dots and Dimensionals.
“Yay! All the way” is from the Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set. I stamped it in Garden Green Ink, used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.

For the background, I cut the arched frame from Nests Of Winter Designer Paper with a Garden Meadow Die. The inside of the frame was cut with the same die from Basic White Cardstock, and embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. After embossing, I glued both to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
