This week’s Global Design Project is a fun color challenge, using Pretty In Pink, Basic Beige, and Pecan Pie. I chose the Layers Of Beauty Bundle to show-off this beautiful color combination. This set enables you to paint like a pro. Trust me! I Began by stamping the large floral image, from the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set, in Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White Cardstock.

This was followed by using the Layers Of Beauty Decorative Masks on top of the stamped image. The masks (stencils) are numbered 1-5, and used in that order. I applied Pretty In Pink Ink with a Blending Brush on 1-3, and Basic Beige Ink on 4-5. I matched the notches on the corner of the mask to keep it even, and held it in place with my hand.
After coloring, I used its Layers Of Beauty Die for cutting.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″, embossed with a new embossing folder, Birch Wood. It will be available in the the upcoming 2024 September-December Mini Catalog. The embossed layer is glued to Pecan Pie Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which is glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “You make my heart smile,” is in the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set. I stamped it in Pecan Pie Ink, used a Delicate Forest Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the design, I added three Blooming Pearls. The Blooming Pearls are my gift for the month of July; read below how you can earn them.

Today’s card is a combination of the new bundle, Frosted Forest, and two designer papers. I began by using a Frosted Forest Die to cut Country Woods Designer Paper, and snipped the ends of the “ground” to 4″. After gluing the trees to a 4″ X 4″ square of Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, I glued the layer to a Copper Clay card base, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Frosted Forest Fall
Next, I used a Friends For life Die to cut a piece of coordinating, Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, for the sentiment. I like the way this die and the Frosted Forest Die stretch across 4″, which is the reason I decided on a square card.
The sentiment, “Thinking of you, and how you strengthen my life,” is from the Frosted Forest Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on the DSP, gave it one layer of cardstock for thickness, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals.

Today’s clean & simple card uses one of my favorite techniques, stencilling.
Stenciled Leaves
I began by cutting a Friends For Life, leaf die, from Basic White Cardstock. Then, using this as a stencil, I applied ink with Small Blending Brushes to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. I placed the stencil randomly, and used three colors of ink: Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, and Lemon Lime Twist. After coloring, I glued my leaves to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The sentiment, “You’re a true blessing,” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, and used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting. This die is extra cute, because it cuts in two pieces, so you could choose a different colored frame. I’ve just started creating with the Frosted Forest Bundle, and I know we’re going to love it! For today’s card, I let the Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper do “most” of the work. It’s hard to improve upon this gorgeous scene, 4″ X 5 1/4″, but adding cardstock to die-cut images makes a “tactile” difference. I noticed that the pine tree from the Frosted Forest Bundle looked similar, so I used a die to cut Mossy Meadow Cardstock. After layering it two times, for thickness, I glued it in place.

Next, I stamped “thank you,” from the Frosted Forest Stamp Set, in Mossy Meadow Ink on a coordinating piece of the designer paper. Then, I used the smallest Perennial Postage Die for cutting, layered it two times, and glued it in place.
Do you see the darling bird? I stamped it in Boho Blue Ink, layered it, and glued it in place. I gave the scene a Boho Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my card was complete. You have to “feel” this card to really appreciate it.

Welcome to July! For this week’s Global Design Project, I began with the beautiful, pink, cardstock, named Bubble Bath. After cutting the card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I decided to feature the Magnolia Mood Bundle. I used the large, intricate, Magnolia Mood die to cut from a layer of Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″.

After removing the die-cut, from the layer, I embossed the layer with the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Then, I glued the layer to the Bubble Bath card front, and glued the die-cut back in its hole.
Next, I stamped magnolias from the Magnolia Mood Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink, used its Magnolia Mood Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
The sentiment, “You’re in my thoughts today,” is from the Thoughtful Expressions Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
To complete the design, I cut sprigs, using an Unbounded Love Die, from White Glimmer Specialty Paper. And, I added three, Iridescent Pearls to the sentiment label.

It’s time for lemonade! Just fussy cut a single lemon from Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper, and your recipe will be on its way. This is the last day of Stampin’ Up’s Bundle Sale. Clicking on the Citrus Blooms Bundle picture, in my Product List below, will take to to the sale price, and my store for ordering.

Next, cut Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Green. “You’re the best kind of person” is in the Citrus Blooms Stamp Set. After stamping, glue the layer to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The fancy frame was created with a pretty pattern of Mediterranean Blooms DSP, cut with a Citrus Blooms Die, and glued on top of the white layer.
After gluing the frame, attach the fussy cut lemon with Dimensionals, and add three yellow, dots (Dots For Days).
