You won’t believe how easy it is to create this tree! You can do it with the magic of “masks” that come in the Frosted Forest Bundle!

Summertime Tree
Six masks come in the bundle, and three were used for this tree. I began by cutting Basic White Cardstock the same size as the masks, 5″ X 6 3/4″. The masks are numbered, 1,2,3, and notched in the corner, so you know which way to place them. Holding the #1 mask with my hand, against the white cardstock, I used Pecan Pie Ink and Early Espresso Ink with Blending Brushes to color the trunk and limbs. Next, I used #2 mask with Granny Apple Green Ink, and #3 mask with Garden Green Ink. Then, I went back to #2 mask with Mossy Meadow Ink. To clean the masks, just rinse with water.

After the tree was colored, I used its Frosted Forest Die for cutting, layered it with cardstock for thickness, and placed it on Dimensionals. The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3″ X 4 1/2″, with a 1/16″ border of Old Olive Cardstock. The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Thank you” is from the Frosted Forest Stamp Set, stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink. The “ground” is from the Delicate Forest Stamp Set, “stamped off” in Old Olive Ink. “Stamped-off” means, I stamped it on scratch paper first, so the color would be lighter.
This bundle is great for guys, as well as Christmas cards. Click on the picture in my Product List below to see the pine trees.

Today’s card was inspired by a sketch challenge at TGIF.
I began by using a Stylish Shapes Die to cut a 2 3/4″ square from Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper. Then, I backed it for thickness, and placed it on Dimensionals. To decorate the top left corner, like the sketch, I glued three flowers that were punched out from the same specialty paper. Click on the picture in my Products List below to see details of this amazing paper. It’s scheduled to be available the week of August 5th.

Frames & Flowers
For the bottom, right corner, I stamped a sentiment in Lost lagoon Ink, and used a Stylish Shapes Die for cutting the label. “Thanks” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. The bird perched atop the sentiment label is from the Country Birdhouse Bundle. I stamped her in Lost Lagoon Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used her die for cutting, and colored her with a Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend. Both were attached with Dimensionals, doubled under the sentiment label, to make it even.

The background is Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″, embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. This is layered on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which is layered on a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Blooming Pearls were added as a final touch. They happen to be my host code gift for the month of July. See below, how to make them yours.

A moon, from the Under The Moon Stamp Set, became a sun for this week’s sketch challenge at Global Design Project. I began with Full Of Life Designer Paper, 2 3/4 X 6″. Doesn’t it look like the sky at sunset? To create the sun, I used an Under The Moon stamp with Pumpkin Pie Ink. Then, I backed the designer paper with Basic Black Cardstock 2 7/8″ X 6″. After letting the glue dry for a bit, I cut the top and bottom, making the panel 2 7/8″ X 5 1/2″ . I did this so the top and bottom edges of the panel would be perfectly even with the card base.

Sunset
The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After giving texture to the card base with the So Swirly Embossing Folder, I glued the panel in place.

To complete the design, I added a sentiment from the Delicate Forest Stamp Set. I stamped, “You make good things better,” in Memento Black Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used its Delicate Forest Die for cutting, and attached it with Mini Dimensionals. To make the sunset sparkle, I added Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins.

Here is the sketch. Look for all of the Global Design Project Designers on Facebook and Instagram. Share and tag #GDP454 to play along with this challenge.

July’s assignment for the 2024 Artisan Design Team was to create projects using the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set and Greetings Of The Season Dies with the Golden Greenery Bundle. We hope this shows you ways to make the Golden Greenery Bundle a versatile, year-round set. Members of the Artisan Design Team have an Instagram Hop for you, first shown, July 13, 11:00 AM Pacific Time.

Everyday Greetings
I began card #1 by using two Golden Greenery Dies to cut branches from Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper and Gold Mercury Vellum. The background is Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″, given texture with the Fern Embossing Folder. This was glued to Thoughtful Journey DSP, 3 3/4″ X 5″, which was glued to an Old Olive card base 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

I completed the design with a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings Stamp Set. After stamping “friend” in VersaMark on Thoughtful Journey DSP, and sprinkling it with Gold Embossing Powder, I set it with a Heat Tool. Then, I used a Greetings Of The Season Die for cutting. After looping Gold Trim through the hole in the label, I attached it with a Dimensional, and used Glue Dots to hold the trim. I also added three Blooming Pearls in the pretty green/gold color.

Card #2 began with bells from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set. I stamped two bells in VersaMark on Thick Basic White Cardstock. After sprinkling them with Gold Embossing Powder, I set them with a Heat Tool. I used their Golden Greenery Die for cutting, which has a convenient hole for hanging. Next, I cut Thoughtful Journey DSP with a Greetings Of The Season Die, and stamped “on your” in Lost Lagoon Ink. Then, I threaded the bells with Gold Trim, attached them with Dimensionals, and added clappers (gold Blooming Pearls).

The background was created with two Golden Greenery stamps and three colors of ink. I stamped the branches in Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, and Mossy Meadow on Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 4 3/4″. After stamping, I glued the layer to Lost Lagoon Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 5″. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
To complete the sentiment, I stamped “Anniversary” in Lost Lagoon Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used a Greetings Of The Season Die for cutting. A second cut was made to reduce the length and eliminate the hole.

If you like a card with some humor, the Bistro Burger Bundle is for you!

Fries & Pickles
The Artisan Design Team had such a fun time thinking of ideas, we decided to do an Instagram Hop for you, first shown, July 12, 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Take a look at the bundle in my Product List below.

The first card I created has french fries, stamped in Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I colored the fries with Daffodil Delight and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends, and cut them with their Bistro Burger Die. Then, I tucked them in a bag created with a Thoughtful Pockets Die and Perennial Lavender Designer Paper. Prior to attaching the bag to the background, I stamped “Time to celebrate” in Real Red Ink.

The background is Perennial Lavender DSP, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. The humor comes in with the words at the top, “Time Fries.” I cut the words, using the Mini Alphabet Die with Country Woods DSP that was adhered to a Foam Adhesive Sheet. The bag is resting on a table, created with a Bistro Burger Die and Country Woods DSP.

The second card is all about dill pickles. I stamped, “You’re kind of a big deal” in Real Red Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Spotlight On Nature Die for cutting. Doesn’t it look like a plate?
The background is Flowering Zinnias Designer Paper, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, layered on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued to an Old Olive card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

I cut a second plate to hold three, stamped pickles, and two die-cut pickles. The pickles were colored with Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. I love the play on words!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is our Favorites from the New Catalog. We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
For this month’s blog hop, I created a fun fold card with two of my favorite bundles, Spotlight On Nature and Thoughtful Wishes. I started with a Boho Blue card base, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, scored at 3″. The 3″ fold is the front, which I covered with Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper, 2 3/4″ X 4″. The same design was used for the inside, 2 3/4″ X 4″, and 5 1/4″ X 4″.

Fun Fold Favorites
Spotlight On Nature Dies were used to cut circles from Thoughtful Journey DSP. I used two sheets of the same design, which enabled me to match the pattern across the card, cut the circles, the wildflowers, and the branch. I backed the front circle with Boho Blue Cardstock, and carefully glued all the circles. I wanted the smaller circle, on the inside, to be covered, while leaving the larger circle exposed.

After gluing the circles, I stamped the sentiments from the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set. However, I recommend doing this prior to gluing, in case of a mishap. I stamped “You make life better” on the outside, and “I appreciate you” on the inside, in Night Of Navy Ink. I also stamped leaves on the inside, from the Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set, in Soft Sea Foam Ink.

After layering the wildflowers and branch for thickness, I glued them in place. Then, I added three Brushed Brass Butterflies as a final touch.

Thank you for visiting!

We have even more inspiration to show you, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be Summer Vacations.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.
