The Merriest Trees stamp set and dies are in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. This great, carry-over set is perfect for Christmas in July, and I love the layered tree in soft colors. I stamped the tree in Soft Sea Foam Ink with highlights of Granny Apple Green Ink.
Layered Christmas Tree
After stamping, I used five Merriest Tree Dies to cut layers for the Christmas tree, starting at the top. Isn’t that cool? After cutting, I assembled the tee, starting at the bottom. Each layer was given Dimensionals, overlapping the layers just a bit.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder, another carryover. This was glued to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Before attaching the tree to the card front, I stamped the trunk in Crumb Cake Ink, used its die for cutting, and glued it in place. I also decorated the tree with strands of White Glimmer Paper, cut with a Merriest Trees die. The star is White Glimmer Paper, backed with Basic White Cardstock, colored with a Blending Brush and Pretty In Pink Ink.
“Hoping your home is filled with the Spirit of the season” is from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set. I stamped it in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 3 5/8″ X 1/2″, backed with Soft Sea Foam, 1/8″ larger, giving a 1/16″ border.

Today’s card began with a scene from Winter Meadow Designer Paper, cut with a Greetings of the Season Die. This carryover, designer paper is beautiful, and I love the watercolored artwork. The hole at the top of the die-cut was tied with Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.
Greetings Of The Season
“JOY” was created with Alphabet a La Mode Dies, cut from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper and Foam Adhesive Sheets for dimension. I cut the Foam Adhesive Sheet, 2″ X 2″, and adhered it to a 2″ X 2″ piece of Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. Then, placing the letters on the metallic side, I rolled it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. After cutting, I removed the letters, peeled the backing, and attached the letters to the tag.
Next, I used two, Golden Greenery Dies to cut foliage from two specialty papers: Textured Metallic (matching “JOY”) and White Glimmer Paper.
The purple tone of the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper called for a Blackberry Bliss card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.

This is an exciting day for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, because we get to see the holiday catalog for the first time! One of the sets in the new catalog, Winterly Tree Tops, was available last month, so I’m sharing a “Christmas in July” card today. If you like birds, you’ll love this set, and I began by fussy cutting one of the birds from the Nests Of Winter Designer Paper. Then, I glued Noel (that’s her name) to a circle of Basic White Cardstock, cut with a Spotlight On Nature Die, 2 1/4″.

Christmas in July
Noel wanted to be the main focus, and said I should layer her on top of two more Spotlight On Nature Circles, Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/4″, and Garden Green Cardstock, 3 3/4″.
Next, Noel wanted to decorate the circles with garland, which she said was in her stamp set, Winterly Tree Tops. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and colored it with Stampin’ Blends in five colors: Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Shaded Spruce. It was easy to cut with its Winterly Tree Tops Die, and I glued it to the white 3 1/4″ circle.
For the background, Noel chose Basic White Cardstock, embossed with the Eyelet Embossing Folder, 4″ X 5 14″. I told her it wasn’t a good choice, because it was on the “low inventory” list, but she insisted. She said people should hurry to order it, because it was perfect with the edge of her circles. I agreed, and hope the stock will be replenished, if it runs out. I glued the embossed layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Noel wanted to put the sentiment on a small, Spotlight On Nature circle, and found “to you and yours” in the Filled With Cheer Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on the 1″ circle, and attached it with a Dimensional.
Noel was very happy to be featured on my first Christmas card in 2024, and wanted to enter the TGIF challenge. So, we did.

This month’s fun fold is showing off Lily Pond Lane Designer Paper. The fun fold design looks complicated, but you’ll discover it’s easy! Peggy Noe showed us how to do it during her monthly ZOOM meeting, and I changed the measurements just a spec.
Lily Pond Fun Fold
I began with a card base of Balmy Blue Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.
After cutting and folding, I added the Lily Pond Designer Paper: 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, and 5 1/4″ X 1″ to the front of the card base. And, 2/3/4″ X 4″ to the front of the top piece. When gluing the top piece, I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I also added Basic White Cardstock to the inside, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, along with a fussy cut duck.
“Happy Birthday” is from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on the DSP. Then, I used a Happy Little Things Die for cutting, layered it for thickness, and glued it in place. For a little sparkle, I used Iridescent Discs across the front lily pads.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme challenge: circles. I thought it would be fun to combine Round We Go Dies with Full of Life Designer Paper. The bright colors and circles are great for a “happy birthday” card.
Round We Go Pinwheel
I chose a pattern, with all the colors, to make the large pinwheel. The 5 1/4″ X 1 1/2″ Round We Go Die has score lines, which makes for easy folding, in and out, to create the pinwheel. After cutting and folding two pieces of Full Of Life Designer Paper, I glued the ends together (tab end to flat end). Then, I cut a 2″ circle with a Round We Go Die, covered it with glue, and placed it on top of the back side of the pinwheel. It was held it in place with an acrylic block, giving it time to set.
The background is another pattern of Full Of Life Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5 “. I backed it with Basic Black Cardstock cut 1/8″ larger, giving it a 1/16″ border. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4”.
The sentiment is from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set. I stamped “happy birthday” in Memento Black Ink, used a Delicate Forest Die for cutting, and secured the label with Tear & Tape. Prior to attaching the label, I added loops of Iridescent Striped Trim to the back with Glue Dots.

I just love the Expressions Of Kindness Kit; the colors, the artwork, and the price! And the cool thing is, everything you need to make eight cards comes in the box. The only thing I added was Paper Snips to cut the ribbon. Click on the picture in my Product List below to see details of the contents, and to order.
The kit comes with two different card designs, jewels, ribbon, ink, stamps, and matching envelopes. The cards are so gorgeous, I didn’t want to make alternatives. The only change I made on this first card was eliminating the ribbon.
Expressions of Kindness Kit
The second card is just as beautiful, and I used the ribbon. Do you have a favorite? The kit even has a stamp that says, “kindly deliver to” for the envelope. After completing the cards, I have the acrylic block, stamps, ink spot, ribbon, and jewels to use on future cards.
