The Friends For Life Bundle is great with its coordinating Full Of Life Designer Paper, but I also like the bundle with Country Woods Designer Paper. It’s fun to discover combinations that differ from the original idea, isn’t it? I suggest ordering this versatile bundle while it’s discounted 20% this month. Country Woods Heart
I began by cutting the Friends For Life heart from a pattern of Country Woods Designer Paper. Then, I used a second die to cut the leaves from a second pattern, snipped them in half, and glued them to the back of the heart.
After gluing the leaves, I used the Timber Embossing Folder to give the heart and leaves even more wood texture. Then, I used a third die to cut the overlay from a third pattern of DSP, and glued it on top of the heart.
The background is a fourth pattern of Country Woods DSP, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, glued to the same pattern as the heart overlay, 3 3/4″ X 5″. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Happy anniversary” is from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink on Country Woods DSP, used a Friends For Life Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
After attaching the heart and leaves with Dimensionals, and adding three Blooming Pearls, my anniversary card was complete. I love the Blooming Pearls, and I’ve already decided, they will be my host code gift for July!

Today I am sharing Paper Pumpkin Artisan alternatives for the June Kit, Life Is Sweet.
Life Is Sweet Alternative
Instructions:
To create the fun fold, cut 8 ½” X 11” Thick Basic White Cardstock 8 1/2” X 5 1/2”. Score and fold at 4 ¼” and 6 ⅜”.
Cut 2024-2026 In Color 6”X 6” DSP, 2” X 5 ⅜”, and glue to the front fold. Cut a second pattern, 4 ⅛” X 5 ⅜”, and glue to the inside.
Glue green leaves from the kit to Thick Basic White Cardstock, 4 ¼” X 4 ¼”, and use the largest Spotlight On Nature Die to cut a circle. Cut a second circle of Thick Basic White Cardstock, and a third, smaller, circle from a kit card base in pink. Glue the pink circle to the white circle, and glue to the middle of the inside. Glue half of the front circle on the front flap, making sure it covers the inside circle evenly.
Adhere fruit from the kit: cherries to the front circle, and lemons to the inside circle
Stamp two sentiments from the kit, with the Shy Shamrock Ink Spot, on kit labels. Glue “sweet friend” to the bottom of “hello” from the kit, and attach with Mini Dimensionals from the kit. Glue “sending a big squeeze” on top of the lemons, and add a bow of Linen Thread, from the kit, to the lemon stem.
Instructions:
Begin with a card base from the kit. Layer with a card front from the kit, 5 ¼” X 4”, cut with six butterflies using a Thanks & Beyond add-on die.
Using a second Thanks & Beyond add-on die, cut “thanks” from kit envelope paper, backed with a Foam Adhesive Sheet. Peel the backing, and adhere in the middle of the card front.
Glue six Glimmer Paper ovals, from the kit, to the butterflies. These are punched “throw away” pieces from the Glimmer Paper words in the kit.
For the inside, glue a frame of leaves from the kit. Stamp “Life is so much sweeter with friends like you” from the kit, with the Shy Shamrock Ink Spot from the kit.
Decorate the envelope flap with 2024-2026 In Color DSP. Glue 5 ¾” X 2 ¼” DSP on the flap, then trim with Paper Snips Scissors, using the flap as a template.

Last Saturday, (June 22), Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators were able to participate in a company event, Creativity Now. While crafting-along with demonstrators, who shared tips and tricks, we created with a suite from the upcoming September- December 2024 Mini Catalog. This suite, Nests Of Winter, can be pre-ordered by Demonstrators August 6, and available to customers beginning September 4. This is a sneak peek of just one of the cards I was inspired to design.
The bird on my card was cut with a Winterly Tree Tops Die from the gorgeous, Nests Of Winter Designer Paper. We love it when Stampin’ Up enables us to do this! Don’t we?
Creativity Now
The sentiment, “A friend like you brings me happiness,” is from the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used two Deckled Rectangles Dies to make it the perfect size.
The bird and sentiment label are resting on rectangles of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, 3 1/4″ X 5″, layered with Nests Of Winter DSP, 3″ X 4 3/4″. The horizontal strip beneath is also Nests Of Winter DSP, 4 1/4″ X 2″. This is glued in the middle of a Basic Gray card base, 11″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 5 1/2″.
For more color, I added two pine boughs, cut with Winterly Tree Tops Dies from Garden Green Cardstock.
A final touch of green was given with three, Earth Tone Shimmer Gems, that come in the suite.
Creativity Now emphasized how this suite is great year-round, but I think you can see how it would make beautiful Christmas cards. I’ve already made a number of cards that I’ll be sharing closer to its release date.

We have a fun theme at Global Design Project this week: “Winged Things.” I thought the butterflies, from the Paper Pumpkin Thanks & Beyond Dies, would be perfect. I began by cutting the butterflies from 2024-2026 In Color 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper in three colors: Pretty In Pink, Peach Pie, and Petunia Pop.
Beyond Butterflies
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I stamped the layer, with the same three colors as the butterflies, with cloud stamps from Under The Moon Stamp Set. Then, I added some black dots, created by flicking with a Stampin’ Blend.
The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Expressions Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, Used a Spotlight On Nature Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
After gluing the butterflies in place, I embellished them with Rainbow Self Adhesive Dots in matching colors.

Oh my! The Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper is gorgeous! And, combined with the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, it’s out of this world!” Checkout this fabulous die-cut.
Thoughtful Wishes
I began with a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Next, I cut Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper 4″ X 5 1/4″, and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Thoughtful Wishes Die. After gluing the DSP to the card base, I glued the die-cut back in its hole. I embellished the wild flowers with three, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
I wanted to keep the sentiment as small as possible, and used the tiny “thanks” in the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic Beige Cardstock, and used its Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting.
