For this week’s Global Design Project, I combined our color challenge with Stampin’ Up’s #simplestamping challenge. That means I used Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, and Shaded Spruce inks with just paper and stamps.

#simplestamping with Simply Zinnia
First, I stamped the three colors on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, using a stamp from the Of Art & Texture Stamp Set. I started at the top, “stamping off” several times with Coastal Cabana, then Highland Heather, then Shaded Spruce. “Stamping off” is stamping on scratch paper, before stamping on your project, so the image is lighter. Next, I added a second, “spots,” stamp, “stamping off” one time in the three colors.

Second, I stamped the flowers, from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set, in Memento Black Ink.
The only other requirement for this month’s #simplestamping was to use a “thinking of you” sentiment. The Simply Zinnia Stamp Set has the perfect sentiment, “Sending flowers and thinking of you,” which I stamped in Memento Black Ink.
I glued my stamped layer to a Coastal Cabana card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and my #simplestamping card was complete. Both stamps sets are in Online Exclusives, and you’ll find the link below.

See how our designers used the colors, then add your creation to our gallery.

Calling all coffee lovers! You’ll love the new products in the A Little Latte Suite Collection. It’s a new Online Exclusive, and you’ll find the links to my store below.
I had fun creating two cards for my monthly, Artisan Design Team Project.

A Little Latte Love
The first card has a Lost Lagoon card base, layered with A Little Latte Designer Paper. I embossed the Basic White Cardstock, top layer, with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder, also in Online Exclusives. Prior to embossing, I stamped the coffee steam and splash beneath the spoon.
Next, I used a Latte Love stamp to stamp the mug on A Little Latte DSP. Then, I used a Latte Love Die for cutting, and placed it on top of a loop of Natural Polka Dot Trim. The cup was filled with a die-cut of Pecan Pie Cardstock.
The spoon and sentiment were stamped in Early Espresso Ink, die-cut, and attached with Dimensionals. And, the final touch was adding three, Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots. Don’t they look delicious?
The second card has a Thick Basic White card base, layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Before gluing, I used my Paper Trimmer to make score lines on the left side and bottom.
Next, I cut four coffee cups from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and colored them Blending Brushes, and ink colors from A Little Latte Designer Paper. You’ll find the ink colors in my Product List below. The circles were stamped in matching colors, with the sentiment circle raised on Dimensionals. I filled the cups with coffee by using a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “It’s All About the Kids.” We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Pals Blog Hop theme is perfect for making Easter cards, and the Easter Bunny Punch from our 2023-2024 Annual Catalog came in handy. I punched the bunny from Basic White Cardstock, and used a Small Blending Brush to add Bubble Bath Ink to her edges. Then, I punched two more bunnies, and glued them together to give the bunny thickness.

Easter Bunny
The card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, is Bubble Bath, to match the bunny’s fur. This is layered with Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die. The top layer is Delightful Floral Designer Paper in Fresh Freesia, cut with the second largest Scalloped Contours Die.

“Happy Easter” was created with the Mini Alphabet Dies, Delightful Floral DSP, and Foam Adhesive Sheets. I attached a 3 1/4″ X 4 1/2″ piece of Delightful Floral DSP to the same size Foam Adhesive Sheet. After placing the Mini Alphabet Die on top of the patterned side, I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine several times. I was able to keep the backing on the letters while removing them from the die, until it was time to adhere them to the card front. This gives wonderful dimension to the letters!

To give the bunny some greenery, I used one of The Love Of Spring Dies to cut Delightful Floral DSP. After gluing the plants in place, I attached the bunny with Dimensionals. The beautiful eggs are Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls.

This week’s Global Design Project is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Jay Soriano’s Simply Sparkling birthday card. See how our designers “cased” his card, then you design one, and hang it in our gallery.

I chose to case Jay’s lay-out, using the new set, Magnolia Mood. The magnolia blossoms stamped beautifully in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping the blossoms, I colored the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends, used their Magnolia Mood Die for cutting, and placed them on Dimensionals.
The Magnolia Mood Bundle is an Online Exclusive that just became available last week. Clicking the pictures in my Product List below will take you to my store for ordering.

Magnolia Mood
The background was created with two strips of Basic White Cardstock, 1 3/8″ X 5 1/2″, glued to Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper, 3 1/2″ X 5 1/2″. After gluing, I gave it texture with the Splatters Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Granny Apple Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “Happy Birthday,” is from the Magnolia Mood Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Wonderful Thoughts Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals. Before attaching it to the card front, I used Glue Dots to hold a loop of Silver & White Sheer Ribbon. To complete the design, I added three, Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls.

Simply Zinnia is a favorite, new, Online Exclusive. I’m in love with the products in this suite, which are available in Online Exclusives. Clicking on my link below will take you there.
When you want to show both sides of gorgeous designer paper, a corner fold card is the answer! I folded Flowering Zinnia Designer Paper (4 ” X 5 1/2), 1 1/4″ along the top of the 4″ side. Then I attached the folded corner with a Glue Dot, and glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Folded Corner
The sentiment corner was created with Basic White Cardstock, 2 1/2″ X 2 1/2″, and cut in half. “Thank You so much” is from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set, stamped in Blackberry Bliss Ink.

The flower was cut with Simply Zinnia Dies from cardstock, and glued together in the order as pictured, top to bottom: Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink.

Continuing to create the flower, I added a center of Pumpkin Pie, topped with Lemon Lolly. After tucking in the leaves of Lemon Lime Twist, my card was complete.

It’s time to make an Easter card with pretty daffodils! This springtime flower is in three shades of yellow cardstock: Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight (appropriately named), and Crushed Curry. The die I used is from a new, Paper Pumpkin “add-on set,” The Love Of Spring Dies, pictured in my Product List below. The plant, from the same set, is in three shades of green cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Parakeet Party, and Lemon Lime Twist.

Easter Daffodils
For the background, I used Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, cut with an Elegant Border Die. This is a great die set that’s available in Online Exclusives. This centerpiece was glued to Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, which was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/5″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Prior to gluing, I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green Ink on the designer paper. “Happy Easter” is from the Throughout the Year Stamp Set.
As a final touch, I added four, little Easter eggs (Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls).
