For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Cindy Timmer’s beautiful design.
See how our designers “cased” Cindy, then join in the fun, and add your design to our gallery.
For my design, I used a 2″ Punch to cut three circles of birds from Flight & Airy Designer Paper. Then, I backed the birds with circles cut with a Stylish Shapes Die from Flight & Airy DSP in Boho Blue.

Flight & Airy Circles
The background was cut with a Gorgeous Garden Die from Basic White Cardstock, glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment is from the Sending Love Stamp Set; new in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. I stamped “a little love from me to you” in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 1/2″, and attached it with Dimensionals.
As a final touch, I added three flowers from Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers.

Perennial Lavender Designer Paper is a favorite from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. Today’s card shows three strips of the designer paper, cut with a Labels Aglow Die. I layered the strips on cardstock for thickness, glued the bottom strip flat, and attached the other two with Dimensionals.

Perennial Lavender Strips
The greenery on top of the strips was cut with a Painted Lavender Die, also from Perennial Lavender Designer Paper. After layering it for thickness, I glued just the portions that touched the strips.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. It is layered on Perennial Lavender Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″, which is layered on a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “just for you” is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped it in Gorgeous Grape Ink on Perennial Lavender DSP, and cut it with its Sentiments Silhouettes Die. After layering it for thickness, I attached it with a Dimensional between two of the strips.

Today’s card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

This month’s assignment for the 2024 Artisan Design Team of Stampin’ Up! was to create projects using the Lifetime Of Love Bundle. We each have our own style, and there are so many possibilities with these products. I created two cards with the addition of Flight & Airy Designer Paper.

Lifetime Of Love
For my first card, I decided on a dotted background, using the Dots & Spots Die to create a stencil. Then, I used a Blending Brush with Fresh Freesia Ink to color over the stencil, held in place on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, a wonderful, Lifetime Of Love Die was used to cut Flight & Airy Designer Paper. Then, I used the same die to cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, and both were glued to the card front.
“Love you” is from the Lifetime Of Love Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Timeless Arrangements Die for cutting, attached it with Dimensionals, and my first card was complete.

My second card began with a Fresh Freesia card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This was layered with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, given texture with a Basic 3D Embossing Folder.

Next, I used the round, Lifetime Of Love Die to cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, which I glued to the center of the card front. Before gluing the cut center back in the hole, I stamped it with “forever & always.”
The birds were fussy cut from Flight & Airy Designer Paper, and attached with Dimensionals.
For a little sparkle, I added three, Fresh Freesia, Tinsel Gems.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Sale-A-Bration. We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I HAD to choose my favorite Sale-a-bration item; Flight & Airy Designer Paper. In addition to the featured hearts, I decorated the envelope flap with one of the patterns. Follow along to see how I combined it with the Adoring Hearts Bundle in the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog.

Adoring Hearts
The beautiful, floral hearts were cut with a large, Adoring Hearts Die, backed with cardstock for thickness, and placed on Dimensionals. Two, small, leaf dies were used to cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, which were glued in between the hearts.

The background is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the largest Perennial Postage Die, another favorite from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Just for you” is from the Adoring Hearts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, and used it’s Adoring Hearts Die for cutting. Don’t you love the curved banner?
After adding three, Pastel Adhesive-backed Sequins, my card was complete.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “Love is in the Air” on February 14th.
Until then, have fun in your craft space.

This week’s Global Design Project is a “hearts” theme. I used the Sending Love Bundle from our January-April 2024 Mini Catalog, featuring a 3D mailbox. How cute is that! Another Sending Love stamp was used to stamp the envelopes in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and cut with a Sending Love Die.

3D Mailbox
I began by cutting the mailbox, with a Sending Love Die, from Most Adored Designer Paper, one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items. The die includes score lines, so the mailbox is easy to create. It comes with a post, which I cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and a realistic flag, shown in the first picture.

For the background, I cut Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and gave it a touch of Flirty Flamingo Ink with a Blending Brush. Then, I glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The grass along the bottom was cut from Basic White Cardstock with a Sending Love Die, also colored with Flirty Flamingo Ink and a Blending Brush.
“Happy Valentine’s Day” is from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink.
To complete the card, I stamped a Sending Love heart in Flirty Flamingo, and added a Brushed Brass Butterfly.

See how our designers used the “hearts” theme, then create your own design, and hang it in our gallery.

I love alphabet dies! The Mini Alphabet set is unusual, because the letters are attached, but cut out separately. I cut the words, “Happy Birthday,” from my favorite Sale-a-bration Designer Paper, Flight & Airy. The words were elevated by using Foam Adhesive Sheets; a technique that gives smaller die-cuts wonderful dimension.

Sale-a-bration Birthday Card
For the background, I used the largest Perennial Postage Die (another favorite) to cut Basic White Cardstock. Doesn’t it give a fabulous border?

After cutting, I added color with Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia Inks. The inks were applied with a Blending Brush over an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask. I also stamped some Fresh Freesia dots, using an Irresistible Blooms Stamp. This was glued to Flight & Airy DSP, that was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I fussy cut the bird, also from Flight & Airy DSP, and attached her with Dimensionals. After attaching the letters and three Tinsel Gems, my card was complete.
I love feeling the raised letters, and this may be the birthday card my husband gives me this year. Hee Hee.
