For the last day in November, my design is a cluster of perfect Christmas trees, cut with a Reindeer Die. I began by cutting three trees from Basic White Cardstock, and placing two of the “cut-outs” between the three trees. This tree die is unique, because it has cuts enabling you to lift the branches for a nice 3D effect.

Perfect Christmas Trees
Before gluing the white trees in place, I used the largest Deckled Rectangles Die for cutting the layer, and backed it with Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper. You can see the tree patterned paper peeking through the tree holes.
Next, I flicked the brush end of a Stampin’ Blend against the lid to make stars in the sky. Then, I glued the layer to a Soft Succulent card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Merry Christmas” is from the Ringed With Nature Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink. And, last but not least, the Christmas Star was cut from Silver Foil with a Reindeer Die.
I’m happy to say that Ringed With Nature and Regal Reindeer are two sets that will carry-over. YAY!

I’m sharing my design with The Paper Players.

Sale-a-bration doesn’t begin until January 5, 2023, but I was so excited to show you this sneak peek. This stamp set, Beautifully Happy, was given to everyone who attended OnStage, and I couldn’t wait to make a card with it.
The stamp set has two-step stamping, so the outline of the flowers and leaves are stamped, as well as the color within the lines. I used my Stamparatus for placement, making it easier to be precise, but stamping outside the lines is another option. The outline was stamped in Crumb Cake Ink, the flowers were stamped in Fresh Freesia Ink, the leaves in Mossy Meadow Ink, and the sprig in Granny Apple Green Ink.

Beautifully Happy
After stamping the bouquet on Basic White Cardstock, I used the second largest, Scalloped Contours Die for cutting .The layer beneath was cut with the largest Scalloped Contours Die from Neutrals 6″ X 6″ Designer Paper. The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Thank you” is from the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set, stamped in Crumb Cake Ink, fussy cut, and attached with Dimensionals. For extra pizzazz, I added a bow of Linen Thread, and an Iridescent Pearl to the center of the largest flower.

This week’s Global Design Project is a Winter theme. Winter is still a month away, but I’ve seen snow on the local mountains, and it definitely gets you in the mood for Christmas.
To begin my wintry design, I used a Decorated Pine Die to cut from Garden Green Cardstock and Basic White Cardstock. By gluing the white die-cut on top of the green die-cut, it created a snow-covered bough. It doesn’t show in the photo, but the pine bough is glistening from brushing with Wink Of Stella. There’s a description of this brush in my Product List below.

Winter Pine Boughs
Beneath the pine bough is Basic White Cardstock, cut with the third largest Deckled Rectangles Die. Before gluing it to the layer beneath, it was embossed with a Wintry Embossing Folder. The layer beneath is a pattern of Painted Christmas Designer Paper, cut with the largest Deckled Rectangles Die. And, this layer is glued to a Soft Succulent card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment is from the Perched In A Tree Stamp Set. I stamped it in Evening Evergreen Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, and used the Double Oval Punch for cutting. After attaching the Soft Succulent Satin Ribbon to the back with Glue Dots, I attached it with Dimensionals.
For a little more sparkle, I added four For Everything Fancy Sequins.

See how our designers used the Winter theme, then create your own card, and hang it in our gallery.

Today’s card combines my favorite, Reindeer Dies, with new favorites, Tree Ring Dies and its Hybrid Embossing Folder. These are wonderful sets, and the great news is, they are carrying over and will be available for a long time! Right now, you can order them in bundles, which includes the stamp sets, for a 10% savings. They are in my Product List below.
I began by using the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder with Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″. Then , I used the Tree Rings Die to cut to tree rings from Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper, followed by embossing them.

Ringed With Nature
Next I used more Tree Ring Dies to cut the leaves, branches, and berries from Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper. After assembling, I glued the white embossed layer to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The scene was so inviting, a reindeer came to visit. He was cut from Early Espresso Cardstock with a Reindeer Die.

The reindeer said he wanted to say “so very merry.” I happened to find the exact words in the Trees For Sale Stamp Set, which I stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink, fussy cut, and placed on Dimensionals.

I was inspired by TGIF.

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it’s time to start decorating for Christmas, so bring on the poinsettias! The Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper has beautiful poinsettias, and the focal point for today’s card. I used a Painted labels Die for cutting, one of my favorite dies. With a sketch in mind, I snipped the right edge of the circle.

A Poinsettia
The card base is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″.
The top layer is Basic White Cardstock, cut 1/8″ smaller, giving it a 1/16″ green border. Prior to gluing, I embossed it with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder.

“From our home to yours” is from the Leaves Of Holly Stamp Set, stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink, and cut with a Harvest Die. Before attaching the sentiment with Dimensionals, I lightly brushed the edges with a Sponge Dauber and Evening Evergreen Ink. As a final touch, I added three, tiny, gold, For Everything Fancy Sequins.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
