Fragrant Layers Hello Card

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

Today’s card was created with the Fragrant Layers Bundle, a favorite from the new, January 2026 Online Exclusives. I began by using one of the dies to cut two, trios of flowers from Basic White Cardstock. I also cut leaves from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock with three additional Fragrant Layers Dies. Then, I used a Small Blending Brush and Pretty In Pink Ink to add color to the flowers.

Fragrant Layers Hello

Next, I used a fifth, Fragrant Layers Die to cut small flowers from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, and glued these to the backside of the flowers. I don’t think this was the intended purpose for this die, but the cut-outs fit the flower centers perfectly.

The background was created with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder and Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This layer was glued to a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After attaching the flowers with Dimensionals, I glued the leaves flat. The sentiment, “hello,” is from the Fragrant Leaves Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. Then, I used a sixth, Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three Iridescent Pearls

I was inspired by TGIF.

Easter Basket of Flowers

You’re going to love the Easter Basket Bundle! The Easter basket is wonderful, and I couldn’t resist covering it in a pattern of the “Last Chance” Woven Textures Designer Paper. This paper is still available, at a reduced price, the last time I checked.

Easter Basket

The basket is filled with flowers, using the Extraordinary Flora Die to cut Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape. This fabulous Washi Tape was adhered to Basic Beige Cardstock prior to cutting. Then, a bit of glue was used to arrange the flowers in the basket, and the basket of flowers was placed on Dimensionals.

The background is Basic Beige Cardstock, cut with the largest Branching Out Die, and embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. This layer was glued to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.  The tiny “for you” is from a retired stamp set, Beautiful Bouquet. I stamped it in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, and used the retired, Bouquet Bunch Die for cutting. As a last detail, I added a Linen Thread bow.

Endless Love for a Happy Day

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is “Something New.” If you’re looking for inspiration and a reason to play with your craft supplies, this hop is for you! The Pals hope to inspire you with card ideas and paper craft creations using Stampin’ Up! products. Links to the participant’s blogs can be found at the end of each post to help you “hop” along!

Today’s card is featuring new products I’ve highlighted in bold letters. The card base is 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, in a beautiful blue color, Azure Afternoon. I layered it with White Willow Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and gave it texture with the Eyelet Embossing Folder.

By Su Mohr for TGIF; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Happy Day in Azure Afternoon

Next, I created the frame using a Gallery Blooms Die to cut gingham, Love Notes Mix & Match Designer Paper. Then, I cut a second frame from White Willow Cardstock, and glued the two together. I did this to make the frame sturdier for raising on Dimensionals, and to prevent a red “glow” from the reverse side of the gingham paper.

To decorate the frame, I used  Endless Love Stamps to stamp a heart and “Happy Day” in Azure Afternoon Ink on White Willow Cardstock. After stamping, I used an Endless Love Die for cutting. The watering can is from Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera. Both were glued to the frame before attaching the entire piece to the card front on Dimensionals. To complete the design, I used an Endless Love Die to cut the small heart from the Love Notes Mix & Match gingham paper, and attached it with a Dimensional.

Fragrant Layers for Global Design Project Sketch Challenge

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

This week’s Global Design Project is a sketch challenge. I hope you’ll join in the fun, and share your creation on social media. Don’t forget to tag it #gdp530.

I’m featuring the Fragrant Layers Bundle, which is an Online Exclusive that just became available January 6th. I used a fun, “paper-piecing” technique with a die-cut from the set on today’s card. First, I cut a gingham pattern from Perennial Lavender Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Then, I placed the Fragrant Layers Die on the left side, and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. This piece was glued to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, which was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Paper-Piecing Technique

Next, I used the “paper-piecing” technique to fill in (color) the flowers. I used the same die, making two cuts from Celebratory Sips Designer Paper, which created orange, yellow, and red petals. Then, with the help of the Take Your Pick tool to pick up the petals, I glued 15 petals in place. The flower centers were cut from Woven Textures Designer Paper.

“Just a note” is from the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink, used a Fragrant Layers Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I added three, Garden Epoxy Shapes.

Beautiful Bokeh Flowers and Prayers

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

The Sweet Bugs Dies are great for bugs, but also for flowers. For today’s card, I used four of the dies to cut flowers from Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper. After cutting, I glued the stems to the flowers.

By Su Mohr for FSM; Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Beautiful Bokeh Flowers

The background is also Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Before gluing it to the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I created a slant by making two additional, angled cuts. Then, I glued the leaves, and attached the flowers with Dimensionals, following the angle. The sentiment is from the Prayers & Promises Stamp Set. I stamped “Give it to God” in Memento Black Ink, used a Lovely Arrangements Die for cutting, and glued it in place.

As a final detail, I used a Sweet Bugs Die to cut butterflies from Beautiful Bokeh DSP, and attached them with Dimensionals.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

Endless Love for Stampin’ Fancy Friday

To see photos correctly, please click “read on blog.”

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month it’s a theme challenge, “for my love.”

I was excited to use new products for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday card. I began by cutting a pattern of Love Notes Mix & Match Designer Paper with a large, Endless Love, heart die. Don’t you love the tiny holes around the edge?

By Su Mohr for Stampin' Fancy Friday! Click aromasandart.com to go to my website for details! Featuring: Endless Love Dies, Love Notes Mix & Match DSP, Big Little Things Stamp Set, Bee Builder Punch; #endlesslove #lovenotes #biglittlethings #beebuilderpunch #panda #valentine #stampinfancyfriday #handmadecards #handcrafted #stampinup

Panda Valentine

Next, I glued the heart to another pattern of Love Notes Mix & Match DSP, which I cut with the largest Textured Notes Die. This layer was glued to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Patti the panda, from the Big Little Things Stamp Set, thought this was a perfect background for her. She had already been featured on one of my cards, but she asked so nicely, I couldn’t say no. After I stamped her in Memento Black Ink, fussy cut her, and placed her on Dimensionals, she hopped on. That’s when she said she needed to say something, and there were perfect words in her stamp set to say, “love you.” So, I stamped the words in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used the Bee Builder Punch to make a speech bubble.

After attaching the speech bubble, Patti had just one more request; she wanted to hold a red heart. It was easy enough to cut the heart with an Endless Love Die, and I handed it to her on a Dimensional, completing “our” card. Patti was thrilled, and knows her person will feel very loved.
