Meet Chirp from the Bird’s Eye View Stamp Set. She said it was her turn to make a card that was using the cutest stamp set ever!

Chirp thought you would appreciate a clean & simple card, requiring few supplies. She said the most important thing was to stamp everything in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and use Stampin’ Blends for coloring. She asked for feathers of Soft Sea Foam, since that was her favorite color. Chirp told me she was easy to fussy cut, with the exception of her legs and feet, so I was extra careful.

Chirp’s Card
Next, I stamped her branch and leaves on Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, and colored them with three colors of Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green. We decided that a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, looked the best.
Chirp really appreciates her friends, and found the perfect sentiment in the Scenic Wonders Stamp Set, “so glad you’re in this world with me.”

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “Love Is In The Air.” We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I began today’s card with my favorite Sale-a-bration designer paper, Flight & Airy. The lovebirds were fussy cut, and the flowers were cut with Paper Florist Dies. You should check out the Paper Florist Dies, in my Product List below, because it’s a fabulous set! After cutting the flowers, I glued the petals together, added centers cut from Gray Granite Cardstock, curled the petals with a Bone Folder, and placed them on Dimensionals.

Lovebirds
Next, I cut the background leaves with a Gorgeous Garden Die from Basic White Cardstock. Then, I glued it to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“Love” was cut with Love For You Dies from Gray Granite Cardstock, and a backing of Basic White Cardstock. The backing is great, because it allows you to easily raise the word on Dimensionals.

Once the lovebirds flew to their places, I attached the flowers, and the word, “love.” I also added three Tinsel Gems in a pretty blue to match the birds.

Sea life is intriguing, and our Beauty Of The Deep Stamp Set has wonderful images. I began today’s card with a 1 3/4″ Stylish Shapes Die, cutting three circles from Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Blending Brush to color them with Lost Lagoon and Granny Apple Green Ink. After coloring, I stamped the fish and dots in the same colors of ink, and placed the circles on Dimensionals.

Birthday Wishes with Fish
For the background, I stamped on Basic White Cardstock, 3 1/4″ X 5 5/16″. The seaweed was stamped in VersaMark, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder, and set with the Heat Tool. I used the same method for the angel fish, used its Beauty Of The Deep Die for cutting, and attached it with a Dimensional.

Prior to attaching the layer, with Dimensionals, to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I stamped the bubbles in Pool Party Ink, and “Happy Birthday” in Lost Lagoon Ink. The bubbles and sentiment are from the Simply Sparkling Stamp Set.

Finally, I used two Sending Dies to cut “Sending” from Gold Foil, and the backing from Basic White Cardstock. After gluing the two together, I glued the center of the word on the middle circle, and propped the ends of the word on Dimensionals.
I think this card would be good for a guy, don’t you?

I was inspired by TGIF.

This week’s Global Design Project is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) Elodie Ventrox’s holiday card. See how our designers “cased” her card, then you design one, and hang it in our gallery.

I began by creating a stencil with the Everyday Details Dies. Using the largest, and second largest rectangles, I ran them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine on on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I applied Tahitian Tide ink with a Blending Brush on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This layer was attached to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Stenciled Details and a Bee
Next, I cut Basic White Cardstock with the second largest Everyday Details Die, colored it with Petal Pink Ink on a Blending Brush, and attached it with Dimensionals.
“Bee mine” was stamped in Memento Black Ink, cut with a small, Stylish Shapes Die, and attached with Dimensionals. To highlight the sentiment, I added three, Adhesive-Backed Hearts in Petal Pink.

My bee was created with the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, and Bee Builder Punch. First, I stamped the stripes and antennae in Memento Black ink , and the wings in Petal Pink Ink, on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used the Bee Builder Punch for cutting. Before gluing the wings and antennae to the bee’s body, I stamped its cute, little face. Then, I attached it with Dimensionals.

It just popped into my head to spell “LOVE” with Planted Paradise stamps, and this is what happened:

Plants Spell “LOVE”
I began by stamping the plants on Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 2 1/4″. The “L” was stamped in Garden Green Ink, the “V” in Shaded Spruce Ink, and the “E” in Granny Apple Green Ink. I left a space for the “O,” which I stamped with a pot stamp in Blueberry Bushel Ink. The plants in the pot were “stamped off” in Shaded Spruce Ink, and both were fussy cut, and attached with Dimensionals.
Next, I used an Everyday Details Die to add pattern to the top of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

After gluing the “LOVE” panel, I created the word, “you,” with the Alphabest Stamp Set. I stamped “you,” and the outline, in Blueberry Bushel Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used the Best Label Punch for cutting, and attached the letters with Dimensionals.

Feb 10, 2024 | Artisan Projects, Gallery, Hand-Crafted Cards |
This month’s assignment for the 2024 Artisan Design Team of Stampin’ Up! was to create projects using the Perennial Lavender Suite. I created two cards, using the beautiful, elements in the suite.

Perennial Lavender Suite
The first card has a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, topped with a frame cut from Perennial Lavender Designer Paper. I used the largest, and third largest Perennial Postage Dies to make the frame, which I attached to the card front with Dimensionals. I made use of the long, “left-over” strips of Dimensionals to give it extra support.
Prior to attaching the frame, I glued a checked pattern of Perennial Lavender DSP to the card front, 3″ X 4 1/2″.

The bouquet was cut with Painted Lavender Dies from four colors of cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Shaded Spruce, and Lost Lagoon. After cutting, I tied the stems with Linen Thread, and glued the middle in place, leaving the ends free.

“Thank you for your friendship” is from the Perennial Postage Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink on Lost Lagoon Cardstock, cut with a Sending Die, and attached with Dimensionals.

The second card has a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, folded at 4 1/4″, making a square card. I used a Perennial Postage Die to cut three squares of Perennial Lavender DSP, and one square of Basic White Cardstock.

Before gluing the four, perforated squares to the card front, I stamped the sentiment on the white square in Gorgeous Grape Ink. “Happy Mother’s Day” is from the Perennial Postage Stamp Set.

Next, I colored a butterfly, from the Paper Butterfly Accents Pack, using Gorgeous Grape Ink and a Blending Brush. After coloring, I glued the body, and lifted the wings of the butterfly for dimension.
The final touch was adding three, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems. Aren’t they pretty?
